The guys who run the truck are super friendly and I really wanted to like this place. So much that I’ve gone three different times to try the menu again in case I had a bad experience because I ordered the wrong thing last time. I can’t recommend this place because not only is the food sub par, it’s also extremely pricey and you can get better food at nearby restaurants in Brickell. Last time I went with a friend and paid $ 40(not including tip) for one serving of fish tacos(2 tacos in a serving), an entrée of grilled octopus(which turns out to be grilled and then cut up and stir fried in a dark brown sauce) and one lemonade.

5 stars. I eat here all the time. Everything is delicious and affordable from the lobster to the rib eye to the cerviche to the fish tacos. Also, everybody is very nice and friendly from the owners to the cooks.

Holy cow. This place is awesome. We had stone crab, tacos and a quesadilla. Sat by the water. At first you think, wow this is expensive for a food truck lunch and then you realize it’s some of the freshest food in Miami. Don’t miss it.

Let’s say you are staying in Brickle Miami, looking for great food, a water view, friendly service and low cost in a casual VERY casual setting. Look no further Surf and Turf Catering has nailed it all. There is no magic here– Surf and Turf sets up their food truck daily in the parking lot of the First Presbyterian Church off Brickel Avenue. Mark and Alfredo could not be more generous with their time and attention to good eating. My husband and I have eaten here when we have stayed at the Plaza condominiums and are always in for a treat. Yesterday my husband ordered fresh fish tacos with homemade chips and rice. I ordered the special, sautéed grouper with fresh vegetable medley served on a fresh bed of romaine lettuce. We ended our meal with Alfredo’s fabulous key lime pie. I am gluten intolerant and Mark went out of his way to accommodate me with a special preparation of the fresh grouper. They are open daily 10 to 6 so mostly a luncheon for early dinner opportunity. Definitely give it a try if you were in the area

OBSSESED with this hidden gem! The seafood is spectacular! Surf and Turf always has the freshest seafood and they never disappoint. This spot is very laid back and it is outdoors with a lovely view of the bay. Aside from the food being exceptional the staff is always pleasant. The Owners Mark & Alfredo are wonderful. Definitely a must! **Open Wednesday– Saturday **

If you’re looking for amazing food and The friendliest staff in Miami, you must try this place. We love living in Brickell and supporting local restaurants. Due to construction, Surf and Turf has had to move around a bit but we are glad they’ve found a home behind the church. Don’t let their open air and low key exterior fool you. The food is top notch. They have very competitive prices for stone crabs –compared to Joe’s it’s a steal. Every time we have visited, the stone crabs have been fresh and their accompanying sauce is delicious! We have also tried the fried grouper with pico de gallo, rice and French fries as side. Yum! Everyone on the staff from the owners to the guy who helps crack the crabs is super friendly. They all come by multiple times to make sure you have everything you need. It’s refreshing considering service at some Miami establishments lack this. You’ll eat like a king looking over Brickell key and have a great time doing what the locals do!

Grouper, ceviche, empanadas, stone crab, and fish tacos are the best ever!!! Fresh, never frozen, no chemicals, made to order. Everything is made from scratch including the spices. Key lime pie is the perfect ending to a perfect meal. Love, love, love this food truck.

Open Wednesdays-Saturdays, this place has become a cult favorite. They have the freshest seafood and good prices. There’s no middleman, so they go straight to the customer. Today, I had the tacos, which were my absolute FAVE! They were loaded with snapper and a bunch of yummy toppings. I also tried the bang bang shrimp. I’m not a rice person, but these dishes both came with yellow rice, which was delicious. My dad also ordered the octopus and stone crabs, which wee incredibly fresh. The octopus was the most tender. I didn’t even need a knife! This place is also BYOB, so my dad brought two bottles of white wine. Super friendly guys working the place.

Yes yes yes! This place is amazing. Everything I’ve ever ordered from them has been amazing. Even when I asked them for a side of salt, that was great! They do not skimp on quality at all. You pay more than you would expect for a food truck, but I assure you it’s worth it. They have some set items in addition to the seasonal items(stone crabs, oysters, lobster). Also, as an key lime pie fan, I officially announce that they have the best. Hands down. I work right there so have only gone during the week(Thursday and Friday, Wednesday only during«season»). My sister in law went the other day and said that people bring their own wine and make a day of it. I will happily give them a 5 when they start carrying champagne :) Oh yes, it’s a tent. Don’t let that fool you, it’s the best seafood in town.

YUMMMM. Came here at the recommendation from a fellow coworker and was not disappointed. Located in the parking lot of the Presbyterian Church off of Brickell Ave, it’s in the back, closer to the river. You walk up, have a table number in mind(they’ll ask when you order because that’s how they’ll know where to bring you your food), order and then take a seat. It’s nice because they also accepts cards on top of cash. I ordered the shrimp quesadilla oozing with melty mozzarella goodness with a side of hot crispy fries. They also give you complementary homemade chips with some super awesome spicy mayo. Ohhh man, for being such a simple dish, it was like a flavor tango in my mouth! So satisfying! It was also nice and relaxing, sitting in a shaded area with a lovely view of the water. Only giving 4 stars because they haven’t updated their website for their summer hours(I think they said that during the summer they’re open from Thurs-Sat?) — we tried coming on a Wednesday and left with grumbling stomachs. But this food truck is definitely a gem! Looking forward to visiting many times.

Nice location, the food is good. Specially the grouper and their more expensive dishes… the Ceviche is poor. Compared to other options around a block away. Pricing is way too expensive, you are paying high prices to sit on the sun. The second problem is service. I think this is a family run business but it’s a problem when you have to wait 20 – 25 minutes for your food. I politely inquired about the status of my order… since everyone on my table except for me had their lunch and the guy told me next time to come earlier or call 20 – 30 mins in advance. I told him next time to inform me about the wait… otherwise I’d rather not come and he answered«sucks for you». Indeed it does. I used to push my co workers to come here once a week… never again. Its close and convenient but I’m not bothering. I can’t recommend this place. Much better places around for cheaper with better service.

Delicious and healthy food served under a tent next to the cool breezes off the mouth of the Miami River and Biscayne Bay in the parking lot behind the Presbyterian Church at 609 Brickell, with kind generous service, unlike most places in the 305. I had the fish tacos and they were superbly prepared with delicious fries and free home made potato chips with a delicious mildly hot dressing on top. A unique place to dine during the work day in Downtown Miami!

What stone crab dreams are made of. I’m nervous to write about this place for fear it gets busy but here it goes… I was tipped off to this hidden seafood truck by a friend and thank goodness it happened sooner rather than later! Located in the back of the parking lot for the First Presbyterian Church, you’ll see a sign directing people here for stone crabs while driving down Brickell Ave. Those in the know come here on the earlier side before the claws run out, but you can always call to see how big their daily stock is. Most tables are covered by tents and a few are out in the sun if you want to soak in some rays along the bay. The menu is small but mighty featuring stone crabs of all sizes(when in season), ceviche, fish tacos, lobster, and some more fish plates, along with steak, chicken, and even key lime pie and homemade cookies. You order before sitting from the firecracker of an old man taking the orders, grab a complimentary bowl of chips with pink sauce on top and within minutes, you’re served! We ordered a plate of medium stone crabs, mild fish ceviche(you can grab a sample before ordering) and the bang bang shrimp which is fried shrimp tossed in a sweet chili sauce. On the side, we had some rice and french fries, per the gentleman’s recommendation. The stone crabs were some of the best I had and served with a couple sauces. The ceviche was also delicious and served with traditional choclo and sweet potato. For $ 10, the portion was very generous. The bang bang shrimp was also good if you’re more of a cooked fish kind of person. For drinks, they have soda, water and iced tea but you can bring your own beer or otherwise with you if you want. All in all, this was such a delightful lunch and I’ll definitely go back, even outside of stone crab season for some ceviche and more!

Great ceviche and homemade chips! The owners are very nice and attentive! The food is good! They also let you try the samples before purchasing! How great is that! It’s a great little tent with tables and chairs over looking Brickell key!

Everything is extremely delicious. They even catch the seafood fresh in the keys. Great Customer Service! Try a sample of their refreshing ceviches and lightly breaded grouper and you will fall in love with this tiny hidden seafood gem!
