Store has decent prices for stuff in stock I have spent easily a few thousand at this store, however don’t waste your time and effort on ordering through the store, all you will get is months of run around and bull shit excuse with out reviving any product. you would be better off ordering it yourself via online or picking it up from another shop

Lately, Sunshine has been anything but sunny. It’s been kind of depressing in there. Not to be a butt, but the customer service is halting and cool at best. The store itself is looking a little worse for wear: not a lot is in stock, and it’s frankly a little dirty. Prices are still fair, and there are always tables to play. It’s proximity to Tropical Chinese certainly isn’t hurting it, either. Hope the clouds break soon on this fine local store.

Dirtiest shop I’ve ever been too. The restroom didn’t have a working door. Staff could care less that you where there. Prices are standard and selection of cards and supplies are poor. I didn’t enjoy my evening at this location at all.

The place is set up where one half is for playing and the other half is for merchandise. I am not in the know about exactly what they are playing, but it usually can be divided into two categories: games with cards(Like Pokemon but for adults, i guess?) and then little figurines, which they paint themselves. There is a huge section with materials to craft these little miniatures and it is really interesting to see how meticulous all this is. The other half has board games, which is more my style. If you are looking for Monopoly or Clue, look elsewhere! These games are a lot more complex and also, much more fun. Sunshine Gaming has a huge collection of boardgames and, if youre in need of suggestions, look at Wil Wheatons TableTop show on YouTube. The prices are reasonable for a small store and their points program is a great incentive to shop there often.

When ever my wife and I want a new game we go here. The owner Joel is always ready to help you find what you’re looking for. I give 4 stars because the prices can sometimes be a bit steep. And there is no real order in the shelves full of games, at least none that I can decipher. Other than that it’s great!

Chris, the manager, is amazing! Here is a guy who loves board games and knows how to recommend them. I was hard pressed to find a game he had not played. He walked me through all the games that caught my eye, answering my questions, and even making suggestions along the way. Customer service to the MAX! I walked into the store knowing I wanted two new games and walked out completely satisfied. I wound up buying Kemet and Shadows Over Camelot, both of which I consider to be moderately difficult to find at most game stores. I was immediately struck by the variety of their game selection. They do a great job stocking their inventory with popular games on board game geek, the popular gaming site that knows all. Chris even recommended that I come back to play games during the week. I’m sad because I am merely passing through for vacation on my way to the Keys :-(Otherwise, Sunshine Adventure Gaming would become my new favorite hang out spot!

Things have changed for Sunshine Adventure Gaming — for the MUCH better. Joel, the Owner, has reorganized the storefront from the claustrophobic mess it used to be, to the easy to navigate store it is today. When you first enter, you still have the dust covered Reaper minis to the left, and a few others from mini war games. Instead of the cramped register, right of the entrance is a nice display with new & popular games. On the left, after the minis are the dwindling amount of Role Playing Supplements. This is a smart move, as most RPing has gone the way of digital copies or specialty order, but if you see something you like, it is probably on sale. After that is the sale board games, which is definitely worth looking over before you head to the alphabetized library of games that cover the rest of the wall until it takes you to the Warhammer Fantasy Battle/40k figures and supplements. The center now has a two-sided shelf with other popular/new boardgames on one side and casual games on the other. Next to that is the on sale miniatures from games no one has played in years, but with them on sale, might as well grab a few. On the right side of the main store is the new register — and is that an actual employee helping Joel? That’s right, he’s finally a job creator. And on the new register desk is an online card search for Magic the Gathering. Joel is now selling and buying singles, and his search feature is actually well done. Picked up some $ 1 rares and mythics from the Innistraad block, which was quick and easy.

I recently started coming here a few weeks ago because it was recommended by a mutual acquaintance and im very happy i decided to try it out. the place is not perfect it is kind of messy and cramped, and the owner can come off as rude, the prices for singles however are very fair and in some instances very cheap when compared to some other shops in miami. there are booster drafts every friday in which i have yet to participate but will soon. overall its a good card shop and thats very hard to find in miami.

This place was a dark, dusty and dirty, smelly pit of a game store and the owner should be embarrassed that he calls it his place of business. For all the people that gave this store a 4 and 5 star review you need to get out of Miami-Dade and check out some stores in Broward, Like Tate’s Gaming Satellite for example to see what a 5 star store looks like.

I’ve only been here once, the store has a huge room dedicated to miniture war games, and tons of impressive terrain. There actual stores selection is okay but overall I think this place might be fun. They have a decent Games Workshop and MTG selection from what I could tell.

I’m a nerd. This is a truth I’ve come to terms with a long time ago. And with being a nerd I sometimes visit stores that specialize in my needs. I used to be an avid comic book collector but gave it up a long time ago. I am huge into board games though. Not the monopoly or scrabble kind. No, no, that’s child’s stuff. I’m more into the non-mainstream kind. Designer euro board games. Board games to me are like toys with rules. And I’m a huge kid who refuses to grow up. Anyway, so I stumbled upon this quaint little shop in my nerdquest for new games and was pleasantly surpised. Tucked away in a shopping center on Bird in front of Tropical park this place housed so many unknown and obscure titles that it blew my mind. The place is extremely cluttered though. It looks like somebody’s nerd dungeon exploded. In the middle of the store are long tables which are used for gaming and tournaments. That day there was no gaming going on though. Lucky for me I was actually able to traverse the store without being attacked by orcs or hit with a level 1 fire spell. I perused a bit and found an interesting title and made my way to the checkout. The owner of the store asked me a few questions and then decided to give me 20% off my purchase! The store is a bit out of the way but their selection is amazing. Also a bit cluttered but the owner is nice and willing to offer advice and suggestions. Worth looking into for all your gaming needs or if you’re looking for a unique gift for friend or loved one.
