Wonderful experience, left it like brand new and their customer service was marvelous.

I went a few time to Sun. Living in Springs it was the only bike shop I knew after the one in Westward drive closed down in the late 90’s. Walked in, you can feel the stigma of «we’re better than you» popular in bike shops. Brought in my bike to get the fork steer cut down. Really short guy helped me out. Gave me the«are you sure?» attitude. I mean, how often does a person come in asking for their steerer tube cut down not know what theyre asking for? Got it done, pretty cheap. Sweet, definitely coming back. Came back for something else within the month. A bunch of guys talking, barely doing any work. Good luck getting their attention. Ending up leaving. Why take your business to a place that doesn’t want it? Go back to the shop two years later thinking«There’s probably new staff, doesn’t hurt to try». Sweet, it’s remodeled. Looks awesome. Didn’t mind the coziness of a small bike shop, but this isn’t bad at all. Came in with a concern about a very small hairline crack on my fork. Since it’s carbon fiber, I would like to make sure I don’t ride it when it decides to snap. Hello dentist! Mechanic is busy, no problem. That’s expected. Younger guy at the register was kinda avoiding eye contact. Older guy on the phone was sitting down near the window(I assume it’s the owner getting business done) Younger guy asks me «How can I help you?» Tell him my concern, and to see if the mechanic can take a look at it. Mechanic looks at it. Younger guy too. Looks lost. Says that he doesn’t even think it’s carbon, that it’s an aluminum fork wrapped in carbon.(Ended up being a crack where the aluminum tube meets the carbon fork. Discovered at another shop) Blows it off and goes on his way. It’s not a bad shop, but it’s nothing great or unique that’s worth going to.

A no-nonsense shop with which I trust my high investment of a TRI bike as well as my wallet. Even though I live on South Beach, I’ll still maneuver the concrete jungle to these guys for the great technical work they do. They have the latest, greatest, and hottest of bikes and truly know they’re stuff! Since it’s a smaller store, inventory is limited so don’t come here expecting to shop around or ‘browse’ much. They do order pieces if you request. They have some VERY talented cyclists that call this shop home, and it’s easy to see why. Group rides and take place on Sunday’s to Key Biscayne with some of the speed demon riders. I think there are other rides for different levels. I’ve dropped my bike off for a full tune twice now before an upcoming race. They gave me accurate estimates of how long it would be. Both times within a few days. I was pleasantly surprised when they called me on different occasions to ask my permission to change out certain parts for repair and gave me options of the replacement part. I’ve been to other shops that simply replace and expect you to cough up the cash when you pick up the bike. I appreciated the options and honesty. Prices are VERY fair and I’ve never ever feel pressured to buy. They even gave me a cash discount– every penny counts! I recently was on a Sunday ride on Key Biscayne and got a flat. Long story short I didn’t have my repair kit on me. My friend ended up giving up his spare tube and CO2 to me and Joel from the shop actually stopped and helped me change it! This kind of ego-less attitude is why I’ll keep giving my business to Sun Cycle. Needless to say I’ll be headed in very soon for a big stock up on repair kit items! And when the time comes for me to upgrade to a new bike, I’ll be headed back in for their expert advise.

I have been a customer at this store for several years. It’s the only shop I trust to take my bike to. I know that they will not sell me something that is not right for me, just to make a sale, and that I can depend on getting a good price and honest, expert opinions. It’s a small store, not a mega store, so the inventory is not huge, but if you tell them what you’re looking for, they will order it and you’ll have it in just a matter of days. Once you’re a customer, you’ll feel like family.

I bought my very first road bicycle there and totally satisfaction with customer service. They are very honest and assist information whenever question I ask. Very reasonable price and the owner is somewhat very honest and truthful person which I am pretty much appreciate their business. I bought all kits there and happy when I first rode on the street. Couldn’t ask for better business! Keep that up!

I have been to this shop a couple of times, mostly to buy parts or components. It may be that I know most of the regular crowd here so I kind of take the service for granted — really no complaints here — so far, so good– A bit out of the way for me as I mostly ride on the east side of Miami, but since I live in Doral it is a short«weekend» drive away from my house. They do get 3 stars for service and selection and another«honorary» star because they support local rides– In fact there is a weekly ride that leaves from the shop on Sundays, goes to the Key and back so it is a great alternative to rack up miles and build a solid base. I am truly sorry to read Marcos’ review and frankly I wonder why would they even participate in an event like this if they are not going to be at their best? All it does is give a wrong impression and that is not cool.

Oh man! I haven’t been to their shop, but if their representation at the last Bike Miami Days in Coconut Grove; is any indication of how they do business, don’t bother. They were suppose to provide bike maintenance and maintenance instruction and they weren’t equipped nor were they willing to provide either. Why would they even bother showing up to the event then? I wonder. What’s more, they weren’t that apologetic about it either. I pretty much received the old school ‘Welcome to Miami’ treatment.
