State Discount Sundries

Normally, I would walk right by this place on my way from the garage to my office everyday, but I happened to see some cute headbands in the window with a big «99 cents» sign.
I walked in to see a big wall of jewelry, makeup, nail polish, and other accessories for just under a buck. I am not the type of person to drop big bucks on jewelry. A strand of pearls and diamond studs? Of course. Those are classics, but there’s tons of trendy jewelry that can only be worn a handful of times, and I can’t afford to drop my checks on such luxuries. That’s here this place comes in.
It’s like a dollar store. They have a whole aisle of incense and candles, another aisle with deodorant and other hygiene products, and a section for school & office supplies. These items don’t really blow my mind with the prices. I’ve found better deals at Walgreens, but the accessories keep me coming back. I’ve found so many cute necklaces, rings, headbands, earrings, and bracelets here. Some things are better than others and overall I would say the quality of the jewelry isn’t great, but it’s comparable to jewelry found at other discount retailers, but they have a huge variety and everything is 99 cents. You can’t beat it. If you’re downtown, stop in to see for yourself. Goof luck finding it though. It’s among a string of small shops on Miami avenue.
