We ate here last night, and were impressed with the welcome, assistance from waitstaff and quality of the food. Mozzarella and prosciutto to start, and great Italian style pizza cooked perfectly. Their ‘beat the clock’ special from 5.30pm means especially good value.

I can’t believe I’m just taking the time to review Spris now. I go here at least 2 – 3 times a week on my lunch break. So much so that some of the staff already know what I’ll order… LOL! Everything here is a winner. From the pizza(of course!) to the meatballs, salads, and the desserts… everything is delicious. Their wine is even great! And they have great beat the clock specials. The staff is always friendly and service is quick.

Beautiful ambiance, outdoor seating, a bottle of wine — what more could you ask for? I tried the margherita pizza, pepperoni, and the body builder panini. Each was unique in its own way, with a special taste of Italy. Oh, and great pepperoni! Thank you for the night!

Really good thin crust pizza. I work in the building next door and it is very convenient to have them close by. They have a good«happy hour» deal from 5 to 7 pm. The pizza diavola and margherita are my favorites.

Happy hour pizza and beers is amazing!!! $ 2 perronis and beat the clock pizza… Yes $ 2 beers :) I love to pass by for a few drinks and a bite to eat after work, we always get a wonderful waitress(blonde skinny girl) she’s always busy but she tries her best to make us happy.

As much as I raged against the(Miami Sound) machine, I took no joy in frequent bad experiences. I mean, who would do that? I just wanted to live my life in peace and enjoy things as they should be: polite, reasonable, logical, get what you pay for/expect. Basic. So, it’s in that vein that I have gratitude for the fact that my last Miami dining experience as a local was a positive one. And that experience wasn’t so much wrapped up in the quality of the product(although it was tasty) but the service behind the counter(human kindness… in Miami… who knew). After a week of one ratched experience after another, I was done. Through. The only reason I even stopped in to Spris on a muggy Saturday night was that I didn’t think I could make it 24+ hours without food(until I landed in Nashville) as I first planned. I walked in and… what’s this? A greeting? A smile? Uncertain as to what I was getting, I started in to the conversation with caution. What’s this? Engaged conversation? More smiles? The person working the counter was Jordan and she was a joy. Friendly, chatty, full of suggestions and no guile… I was in shock. As horrible as it is to say, I was in shock. I had been beaten down by so much nastiness and negativity that a human engaging in the kind of courtesy expected most everywhere else almost knocked me off my feet. As we chatted, I ordered the Buongustaio to go(red sauce, mozzarella, italian sausage, mushrooms, red onions, cherry tomatoes, smoked scamorza cheese) with an Orangina. As I waited for my pizza, we chatted some more, joked and I dug in to my cell phone and she attended to her work. By the time my pizza was ready, she loaded me up with my food and drink, told me to have a good night ANDWISHEDME A SAFEFLIGHTANDSTARTINNASHVILLE. Bowled.Over. Jordan, thank you so much for extending some kindness as I took leave of Miami. You allowed me to leave on a surprising and unexpected good note. Miami, take care of and be nice to Jordan. Your city needs more people like her. Oh yeah, my pizza was pretty damn good. It’s too bad that I waited 2.5 years to try it.

I am lovin’ Spris pizza! I first came during a Unilocal event, but have been back several times! They never disappoint. The pizza is thin and chewy and most importantly, cheesy! I had the margherita and the diavola pizzas. Both very tasty! My husband likes the pesto pizza. The Quinoa Tabouli salads is always fresh and packed with flavor. And who could forget those panini sandwiches!!! Every time I go, I alternate between the prosciutto and the roast beef. The Nutellino dessert is just as yummy as it sounds, pizza dough stuffed with nutella and baked to perfection.

Decent pizza. If you like thin crust with trendy toppings, this place is for you! I’m more into heartier pizzas so this was’t the pizza place for me. We ordered our pizza for dinner, the place was pretty empty but they seemed to have a lot of call-ins for delivery orders. We waited around 15 minutes of our pizza to be made. We used a Unilocal deal to get a free beer while we waited for our pizza. We also got the key lime pie based on Unilocalers, but it was only ok.

Awesome pizza and salads! I love thin crust pizza with that coal oven flavor. I had the carpaccio pizza which had slices of beef carpaccio and arugula on top. Delicious! I wish this place was open on the weekends. They also have a beat the clock happy hour starting at 5:30 pm Monday through Friday. So for select pizzas, they are $ 5.30 and raise as the time goes on until 7:00 pm. They offer two sizes of pizza: individual and regular. The individual was enough to fill my stomach up even though I wanted more because it was so damn good. I also had the pomodoro e feta salad which was sliced tomatoes topped with feta cheese, onions, and avocado soaked in a citrus dressing. So good and fresh! They have a nice outdoor seating area which is perfect for people watching. Service was friendly.

Spris has to be one of my favorite spots downtown. Pros : * Authentic brick oven * Fast and courteous service * Super-friendly staff * Food is great * Indoor-outdoor seating Cons: * Usually gets packed around lunch(not surprised, really.) Recommendation: Go with the 4 cheese pizza. It’s a safe bet and quite good, really. But a must-have is the Key Lime Pie. That’s like fireworks in your mouth. Conclusion: Given my past experiences here, I’d definitely go there again and recommend it to others. The place is family friendly and also some place you can take your clients or coworkers.

I eat at Spris with my co-workers at least twice a week if not three times. I generally get the Marco Polo salad which is very tasty and also really healthy so I don’t feel weighed down after I eat and am trying to work. In addition to the salads, both the pizza and the sandwiches are great. You can get wheat or even gluten free crust for the pizza as everything is made to order. Not sure about gluten free on the sandwiches but they do have a lot of options. The prices are also great. My lunch with tip is never more than $ 11. Seriously, I don’t understand how a certain sandwich and salad shop is still in business next door(expensive salad with boiled chicken, gross). In addition to the good food, the staff is incredible. They do a great job at moving the lunch crowd through and are so friendly. The same people are generally working during the weekday lunch shift and they do a really awesome job. The food is great and the price is right, but I think it’s the friendly staff that really pushes Spris up to a 5-star.

They have revamped the menu to accommodate the office crowd they get for lunch. There are now personal pies(10″) and quite a few salads that are very well priced. Recently tried the Pomodoro e Feta salad — tomatoes, avocados, red onions & feta with citrus dressing. It came with a fresh slice of bread and was very filling and delicious for only $ 5.75. The personal margherita is around $ 6. Food arrives quickly and the manager is on top of everything. Really top notch service. There are also several dessert options — Crème brûlée(only $ 2.50), brownies, key lime pie, tiramesu. Everything I’ve tasted is very fresh. Five stars all around.

I was staying at the InterContinental for a work conference and was looking for something close enough so that I could walk. I was unsure because of the other reviews, but took the leap! I’m really glad I did. I’m extremely gluten intolerant and was excited to see gluten free as a crust option. I went with their gluten free Tutta Carne(I added mushrooms) — I was NOT disappointed. The crust was very good, the cheese was gooey and rich. If I lived down here I’d definitely return. Some of these other nonsense reviews about«the pizza didn’t look pretty» are insane. You’re going to eat your food, not frame it! Give this place an opportunity to make your evening(or lunch).

After being told by my daughter’s aftercare that the past 2 weeks she has been very good and has sat down to do her homework independently, I thought it was time to reward her and keep her motivated. I remembered Spris and their«beat the clock» deal. It’s a simple concept: the price you pay depends on the time you place your order, so if you place it at 6:20, you will pay $ 6.20. The deal starts at 5:30 and ends at 7:00. Although you’re only given two choices of pizza(margherita or diavola), since most people tend to order those anyway, it seems a popular and reasonable choice. You can also order a Spinach salad, those are your 3 choices for the«beat the clock» deal. Spris has 2 locations close to me: the South Beach location on Lincoln Road, and this one, their new downtown Miami location. I had yet to try this location. Also, Lincoln Road charges for parking, and since I work in the downtown area, all I had to do was park at my workplace for free, and walk less than a block, so I decided to do that, figuring this would be more economical. Located in the courtyard of the Southeast Financial Center, close to the InterContinental, it makes for a convenient location to those staying at the hotel or working in the area. There were a few people inside and some eating outdoors, not too many(perhaps the menacing weather had something to do with it), but I noticed the concept is very different from South Beach’s. In South Beach, you go up to a host, you’re given a table, a menu, and then a waiter comes and takes your order, brings drinks, etc., but at this location, you go up to a register to order the pizza(the menu is on the board, or they have a flyer you can look at), then you sit, put a number on your table, and wait for the pizza. The service is very impersonal, you have to get your own refills by walking to the register. I guess this is how they’re able to just have one waiter, who essentially brings out the pizza and plates, and then takes away the plates and that is it. This brings me to a question: do you tip the same way you’d tip when you have a waiter constantly checking on you and offering refills? Also, I am not sure if the Lincoln Road location has this option, but you can do take-out for $ 1.50 extra. This is a better option than dining in, and the biggest reason is that you can save on drinks. A drink is $ 2, so 2 drinks(one for my daughter and one for myself) came out to $ 4. Pizza was $ 6.25(we got there at 6:25), so with tax and gratuity, it came out to about $ 12.00. If I had chosen to do take-out, I would have paid the $ 6.25 plus $ 1.50 and that is it, because we have drinks at home, and there’s no need to tip a waiter anymore either. Another reason for choosing take-out next time was the music. I did not know they would have such awful music and the ghastly music videos to accompany them. The Lincoln Road location plays mostly classic rock, some oldies and alternative, but here, it was Miley Cyrus, Pitbull, Katy Perry, and on the screen, some inappropriate VEVO music videos for children. C’mon guys, this is not some adult-oriented restaurant or lounge, I saw families here. If you don’t want to get rid of the music, can you at least find a better choice of programming to accompany it? A sports game? Maybe a documentary? Even an infomercial would have been less hard to digest. Eating outdoors would have been a good choice to avoid that but as I stated, it looked like a downpour was in order, and who wants to take a chance and have rain pour on them and their food and then having to move all their things indoors? The pizza was good at least. The diavola is a cheese pizza with spicy Italian salami, which is their version of pepperoni. You’re provided with oregano, cayenne, and parmesan if you want to add those to your pizza, which I did. There are about 6 slices in the pizza, but since it’s a very thin Neapolitan style crust, it’s not heavy or incredibly filling. My daughter loved it, so even though the music and the videos are not the best, the food is still good and the location is convenient. Given a choice though, assuming parking at Lincoln were free, I’d choose to go to Lincoln.

I am biased as I know the owners/founders of Spris, but that doesn’t change the fact that they have awesome food, friendly service and a clean and fun concept. Went there for lunch yesterday and was able to try the new pizza tacos, yes tacos. An inventive and tasty play on a taco, but they were the perfect size for an appetizer or a light lunch. My main meal was the margherita pizza and it was the right size, and perfect mix of sauce, cheese and crust. Fully menu of salads, tons of pizza options and pastas. A great addition to the downtown business district of Miami. Wish there was one near me.

Really nice addition to downtown and they have weekend hours too… very happy about that. Some of the best pizza in Miami. My #2 after Lucali. Their salads are also very good. The pollo and mango is a favorite. Big portion and comes with delicious bread.
