Good location, at best. Rude service, we were cursed at by a bouncer at the line because he probably had misheard what we said. Lousy music, mediocre ambience, let alone the expensive prices for everything, including the $ 20 entrance fee. It’s a pass for me.

Loud, boisterous, upscale feel– this place is very Miami; I am not sure if that is either good or bad, but for that reason, this place earns three stars.
I came here for a friend’s birthday and after being here for a few hours this place became overwhelming. Not sure if it was because it was a Saturday night, but the crowd became packed, people pushed into the bar for a chance to order drinks from one of the visually appealing bartenders, and I just thought to myself, «Must… get… air !!! … So packed… so much going on.» This place just represents Brickell’s transition into a South Beach-​esque club. There are pictures flashing onto the walls of the club, and the washroom attendant is also quite friendly and welcoming– not in a dirty way.
If you are a fan of Miami night club Latin culture, you will get that here. I only say Latin because most of the bartenders are Latin– the type who wear tight shirts and dresses (for a chance to earn a tip)– but that may be part of the Brickell-​esque dress code for its workers. Okay music, but something tells me, I will need to be in a high-​energy type of mood to come here again. It’s good if you want a «shake your tail feathers» type night, but for some people like me I would rather stay at home and read a good book.

My friends and I decided to randomly come here after leaving another place.
When we entered they said it was a $ 20 entrance fee!!! We were going to leave and then the hostess told us to come in and not to worry about it. Sketchy much???
The crowd was different meaning there really wasn’t a lot of people their. A lot of young people there.
We ordered a hookah which it was ok but they servers gave us a bit of an attitude.
The music was reggaeton which doesn’t bother me.
Would I ever come back, not really.

Made a few stops at this venue during some bar crawls. The place is really nice and has potential but the service is awful. Attempted to go back another night with a friend and my friend and I were told we weren’t allowed in because we «didn’t have the proper shoes on» (heels are aparantly required). Never wore heels the other times during the bar crawls. Don’t understand how they require heels and classier and more upscale bars in the area don’t mind sandals. Won’t be wasting my time and money there.

We went to amso and the place was packed so we decided to grab a bite to eat close by. We showed up just before the FSU UM game started and the place was empty. The servers were great and the service was quick. They had the game on so we ended up staying there instead of going back to American Social after we ate. The food was ok but the mixed drinks and shots were great. Things were going well until 10:30pm when the bottle service girls arrived. Suddenly a service girl came up to our table, dropped a reserved sign on our table, and rudely told us that we could finish our drinks and leave. We spent $ 200 at this point and we were still ordering drinks. A little upset I looked over at my waitress who signaled me to ignore the girl. Not liking this I went over to the manager to let him know what happened and he was no help whatsoever. Instead of apologizing he argued with me saying that the girl didn’t actually say that (as if he was there). He said the table was reserved for the night and that we were told before we even sat down that we were only there temporarily (again, as if he was there). We were never told this and yes the bottle service girl was rude as hell. I went back to my table disappointed and upset to ask my friends if I missed something because I didn’t remember any of that and they confirmed they never said that. Fully aware now of the people we were dealing with, we asked for the check and left. Needless to say we won’t be returning.

Worst service. Rude staff. We ended up leaving because they don’t know how to treat their customers properly.

My experience was not that good. I’m a mixologist And I was visiting places with new drinks proposals in Brickell but I had a really bad time with the cocktail that I ordered I saw the bartender making it with the wrong vodka and different ingredients that the menu’s says. The taste was terrible, so strong and kind of warm. I feel so sorry ’cause the place looks really cool that’s why I got u 2 stars.

Miguel, unfortunately, was very racist. I didn’t understand why, but learned he was not going to let us in because of the color of our skin. AVOID THIS PLACE. Miguel is a sad, racist individual.

This the worst place to go in brickell they tell you to wait and then nothin they let in who ever they don’t waste your time here and on top of that there were people inside that I suppose to meet inside looking for a table wich they never got by the way people stay away, way better options to go in brickell.

Talk about awful. I made a stop here on a bar crawl where I wasn’t a fan of what the crawl had to offer as the deal. Most of us crawlers stuck to happy hour menus that were luckily offered at each location. Rubi Lounge was our second to last stop and I had never been here, so I was excited to see what this place was about.
My friends and I were one of the first to arrive and immediately made our way to the bar. We noticed signs that advertised happy hour and were, again, grateful that we would be able to drink what we wanted, and not have stick to the crawl deal. When I spoke to the bartender I was told that the happy hour menu «didn’t start till next week» and that they had recently «redone their whole menu.» Listen, I might have been born at night, but I wasn’t born last night. I know exactly when I’m being played. This bar literally has signs advertising happy hour at this exact time and location. Sure, buddy. We ended up spending more than necessary on 2 drinks.
I hope the money was worth it Rubi Lounge, because I sure am never coming back!

This place is pretty spacious! I came here the first week it opened and the crowd hadn’t picked up yet. I only really had cocktails. I returned on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised at the music selection and crowd.
I would recommend this place to come dance on a Saturday. I hope the crowd changes a bit over time as very little people were actually dancing. I honestly don’t know why if the DJ was playing a mix of everything, enough to please everyone.
They offer ladies night promotions. It’s Thursday nights, five girls in a group get $ 50 bottles of champagne and if you bring more than 8 girls its free. Double check just in case they change their offer.

Went to celebrate a friend’s bday. Service/​hosts?! Excelent! Food was awesome! Thumbs up for Rubi! Big thank you!!! Sadly valet guy was super rude! I’m a costumer/​client/​lady and should be treated with respect! It is sad that after an awesome general experience at Rubi, one has to leave with the horrible feeling of a disgusting guy!

I absolutely love this place. My friends and I were going to AmSo since its new as well and we wanted to try it out. We passed by Rubi first while driving to AmSo and the music caught our attention. As we approached AmSo, we went in, checked the place out, turned around and went right out to hit Rubi. What a great decision we made. We have been looking for a bar where is not empty but it’s not too crowded and this is the place. I like house music, but I always need my Spanish music as well. They also have that. The DJ kept my friends and I dancing all night long. We left at 5:00 AM. We literally closed the place. The staff is really friendly. Our bartender is superb, I think he is venezuelan (short looking). He is amazing and gives amazing costumer service plus a bottle show LOL. I had an excellent experience here, we will definitely be coming back. We finally found our little spot to have great drinks and just dance the night away. The only thing I would say, drinks are a little bit overpriced, but other than that. Plain AMAZING!!!

We went there for happy hour and weren’t expecting much more than getting our stomachs filled. This place surprised us with excellent dishes and very friendly service. The price of the food was about half of the price of same quality meal in the city center of Brickell. Great daily specials and cocktail. Definitely recommended for happy hour.

Well, we were passing by, my friends and I and just for not paying attention to their hostesses, the manager (or someone that I’ve heard they call ‘fosforo’) came out to say that we were a terrible and fucked up group for ignoring his hostesses, as far as I understand I still have the choice where to spend my money, I’m sorry that they are desperate for customer but by being rude and disrespectful I don’t think they will get them…

Cool new lounge in brickell, we got there fairly early so no need to deal with a line and we didn’t have to pay a cover. The place inside has been nicely renovated. I remember when this space used to be MPP. The dance area has lots of lounge couches, chandeliers, hookahs.
Now during this visit we didn’t have such a great experience, our waitress could not get our order right, she mest up our tab so bad the manager had to get involved and fix it. and even then, it was hard to get it resolved. Definitely not needed especially right at the beginning of the night. But I guess they are still pretty new and learning the ropes. The manager was nice enough to offer us a free round of drinks and shots to compensate for the mishap. Regardless of the incident, we had a good time and danced the night away. Good sound system and if u go with friends. u will most likely have a good time.

Last Friday we celebrated my husbands birthday at Rubi’s with a good size group. About 12 of us. We got bottle service and a table next to the DJ booth.
The music was great– he kept us dancing all night long with all sorts of genres.
The drinks — well we got bottles so it was sorta self service.
Not sure how much the total bill was as my husbands friends refused to let me pay :/​
Towards the end of the night we realized they have hookah that you can smoke at your table so we had to have one too… Lol

Great place to have a good time, chill, drink and good food! And the chicken wings are amazing!!!

Nice place to chill the food is really good and they sell hookahs! On Thursdays ladies get free well drinks from 9 to 12 brickell needed a place like this.
