Po Seng Tong

This is my first review ever, but I was compelled to write one because it can provide valuable information when selecting service providers. For any parent searching for alternative treatments for their child, DO NOT bring them here. The doctor and nurses seem very sincere until it’s time for the procedure to begin. They would not allow me to be in the room with my 6 year old for his first experience with acupuncture. The nurse told me «well go get medicine because this is the way we do things here!» Completely unprofessional and the doctor didn’t even come out to speak with me. I paid my $ 35 consultation fee and left. I called 2 other acupuncturists in the area who were appalled that they wouldn’t allow a parent in the room and welcomed the notion. I cannot speak to the results just yet, but I am glad I found a caring practitioner who is providing treatment for my son in a nurturing environment. There must be a level of comfort and trust in order for this to work because the mind plays an integral part in healing; especially for a child. Unfortunately, I did not find that here and am glad I am getting the help I need for my son. I can do without condescending remarks as well.

After going to 3 other Chinese acupuncturist up to an hour’s drive away, I finally found the BEST one! For starters the nurses and Doctor are so kind. You see it when they smile and greet you. Second, they use the smaller needles that you never feel. Third, they prescribe herbs from their shelves in their office. Doctor Carrozzo takes his time with me. Our consolation allowed me to ask many questions, which he took his time to explain and discuss and then every week I never feel rushed with him. The environment is peaceful and relaxed and I feel so wonderful every time I leave. And the most important thing is I’m getting results! (This is why I left other doctors). Be forewarned, not all acupuncturists are created equal! The major plus I feel with Dr. Carrozzo is that he gives Chi-​gong treatments in tandem with acupuncture which is like getting a double treatment. He is also very wise and spits out tidbits of positive thoughts and information during the treatment. There are also meditations here on Tuesday nights as well so they are positive business in many ways for the community. I feel so at home here. I am very thankful to have this place! I have also spoken with some other patients in the waiting room that have had terminal illnesses that western Doctors said they could do nothing for and now 10 years later here are these individuals alive and well bringing their children for allergy treatments. Amazing!
