If you like tasteless crud… well then Pizza Hut Express is for you. I was running through Miami International(another story) and only had a few minutes. Thick and chewy crust with zero taste. It’s almost like it was cooked long enough. The sauce wasn’t much better… oh well… my expectations weren’t very high at all and this pizza still managed to fall short. Waste your calories on other options in Terminal E.

Man 10 bucks for a pizza and a soda. Doesn’t seem quite worth it for the size. Airport prices are always high so I guess for the convenience you pay extra.

(Dined 01÷06÷14MO @ 11:00pm): I can’t express how much this meal was not worthy! I must preface that it wasn’t my idea to dine at this Pizza Hut Express in the Miami International Airport. As most of you know about me, I’m not much of a fan of chain restaurants and even more so when it came to fast food, in general. But when this was the only place within earshot from where I needed to grab a shuttle to a comped hotel due to massive flight cancellations and the dinner voucher($ 12.00) I received from American Airlines was only valid through the next day(Lord help me if I had to stay another night), this was my only option and I needed to eat! So, I begrudgingly shuffled my feet up to the counter and ordered whatever was available, and this was my pathetic meal: Arizona Green Tea with Ginseng Mandarin Orange($ 4.29) — The one and only redeeming thing about this entire late night meal. I’d never tried this flavor before and it was quite good with a higher citrus taste than I expected. But at this prices?! 6-Piece Chicken Wings($ 6.69) — Hmmm… a buck-plus per scrawny chicken wing. They weren’t hot(temperature or flavor) nor did they have much to tantalize the tastebuds. How was it possible to sell this to the general public?! Personal Pan Cheese Pizza($ 6.49) — Greasy as fuck with a squishy texture like a sponge as I took one bite after the next. I’m cool with burnt cheese on something like lasagna or mac & cheese, but on a pizza?! Come on, man! Being Filipino(i.e. thrifty) and starving, I couldn’t let this go to waste so I ate it all, but I wasn’t happy about it. Service — Serena was the sole employee this long late night and was smart to stay open later than usual because of all the flight cancellations and ticked-off passengers like myself who needed something to grub on. She was exhausted and patient with other customers before me and still managed to crack a smile when she helped me. Good job! Parking(n/a) — There were parking structures everywhere at the airport with obscene prices. But more than likely you’re not coming to the airport solely to grab a meal. Leave the driving to someone else. Atmosphere, décor, ambience — Basically a small order counter and what you saw was what you got — warming shelves for the food, a small refrigerator, and a small peek into the kitchen area. There were no tables, chairs, TVs, or background music. Attire — Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. Overall, this Pizza Hut Express served its purpose which was to satiate my hunger, but at what cost to my health and well-being?! Frankly, the food wasn’t that great — ’nuff said. I found minimal value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above(total bill was around $ 18.00 before voucher; no tip required). I least I didn’t have any ill-effects. Since my dinner voucher didn’t cover my entire meal, thankfully they accepted my credit card of choice… AMEX!

well, if you are really craving a pizza and do not mind a really thick crust on a half sized pizza at full sized price, go ahead. cheese and pepperoni pizzas are the 2 available choices. turn around, behind the sign is ample seating available.
