It’s good… but there is always a but! The bottom of the crust has this black soot that is not particularly tasteful(problems with the oven I assume) maybe once they continue to cook more pizzas they will improve.

‘the study of custom pizza’ wasn’t well studied. you might be able to build your own pizza, but the overall quality and flavor is simply not there. this is how it works: you pick the toppings you want to add to your already made crust(or choose one from the menu), they warm it up, and its served to your table. the hickory bbq chicken was OK but i highly doubt i was really eating chicken. the easy cheesy was bland as was the cinnamon sugar strips. no thank you!

Delicious and affordable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I love the thin wheat crust. My older daughter doesn’t like traditional pizza and she absolutely loved Alfredo’s Alfredo. We will definitely be coming back.

Tried this new spot today for lunch. All I can say is WOW! Build your own pizza with unlimited toppings. They have bunch of fresh selections and pizza is done rather quickly. Price is great, environment is good, and restaurants has plenty of seats and very spaced out. Enjoyed it and will be returning…

Amazing pizza !!! Great flavors and the crust was nice and crispy! Sometimes cheese and tomatoes tend to weigh down the pizza especial that tomatoes tend to release its juices after its heated but not the case here!(Margarita pizza)

Dear Pieology, Yaaaasss for the vegan mozzarella cheese option. I am not a fan of daiya cheese but I am a fan of being able to have vegan options locally. I enjoyed my pie today though and as did the boy. We will be back I am sure. The only reason why I took off a star was because my pizza crust was a little too crispy, the pie was like a cracker, default thin crust?(his as well) and because you did not carry arugula to add, what can I say I like my arugula. Tip: There’s an awesome company called atlas delicatessen which has delicious mock meats. That would be a fun addition to your«meats» section if you’re up for it! All the best, Vegan pizza loving couple

Pieology opened earlier this week and if the service and food continues the way it is now this place is going to be very popular. As it was my first time going I didn’t really know exactly how to begin my order and the the man at the first station was really nice and helpful. As a whole actually everyone was very nice and friendly. The food was very fresh and every bite my friend and I would look at each other and comment about how good the pizza was. I’m definitely going back soon. The place is also very clean. The only reason that I’m giving it four stars is because most of the soda machines weren’t working and since the place just recently opened after being closed for another week from its original opening day I expected everything to be up and running. As I said before the food is delicious and the service is amazing.

Got the opportunity to to Pieology on Flagler today it was a good experience. I like the concept they have kinda like a Chipotle. You walk down the hot food aisle they have and just choose everything you want on your pizza. The ingredients all taste fresh the pizza was cooked just right and everything was done fast. Staff is friendly they bring your pizza to your table when its done cooking(bout 5 min). The location is nice and clean with plenty of seating. Pretty cool new spot in miami for the pizza lovers to try.

I love Blaze up at Davie, and have been hoping that there will a pizzeria with similar concept closer to home. To my joy, Pieology is now open! Two doors down from my favorite ice cream shop, no less! For those not familiar with the concept, your pizza is made in an assembly line fashion. You pick your dough — white, whole wheat, gluten free. Then moving down the line you add sauce and toppings: cheese, meat, veggies. Any combination and varieties you want for one awesome price of less than $ 9. Afterwards, a few minutes in the oven and your personal, custom made pizza is ready! You can also do a custom salad too: pick your green, protein and top it with various ingredients and dressing. This review is for a paid visit a few days after the grand opening, which I feel is a more representative experience than the grand opening. Unfortunately, the word to describe the experience is: CHAOTIC! 1. They only had whole wheat dough. Moreover, not sure whether the issue is the dough, the machine or staff training, but the pies came out of the pie press misshaped and torn, and the girl threw out like half of them. Which created a bottleneck as both customers and staff were waiting for pies to begin the order. 2. At Blaze they have different employees for the dough, sauces, veggies and meat. Here, they haven’t set up a system yet, so sometimes an employee put the sauce on and just left your pizza there, sometimes she followed through to complete the whole pie. Also the same guy worked the meat and veggie toppings, which may be a concern for some customers. 3. We ordered 5 pizzas. One didn’t make it successfully to the oven and had to be remade. Two requested pesto at the finish and didn’t get it. One went AWOL. We went to the counter a few times to ask for it, and finally, when most of us had finished our pizzas, we went again to enquire, this time they found the pie, cold already, in a to-go box on the counter. 4. Pizzas are supposedly delivered to our table by staff but that system didn’t work. One of ours was never delivered. Meanwhile, we saw staff walking around with pizzas, couldn’t locate the customers and brought it back to the kitchen. Or staff holding pizzas for customers to figure out if the pies belong to them. 5. The iced tea fountain wasn’t working and only dispensed water. That said, we enjoyed the pizzas. Flavor was good. I generously keep the 4 stars as the place just opened. Obviously the staff needs a lot more training and getting used to the operation. Hopefully things will be smoother on next visit. I still prefer Blaze, as they have more premier toppings, like goat cheese, fresh mozz, arugula and roasted garlic cloves rather than the minced garlic in a jar that they use here.
