A group of us Unilocalers came here through a suggestion of another Unilocaler who will be coming along in our upcoming snow trip in February. We came in here with little knowledge about snow gear(some had more experience with snow than others), I especially, and I left happy with my purchase and how to find the right snow apparel all thanks to a friendly associate who took much time in assisting me and my friends while being able to assist other clients in between. If you’re new to snow gear like I was, here are some helpful tips I picked up! 1. All manufacturers fit differently — if you’re a size 6 in jeans, just note not all size 6s snow pants will fit you the same. 2. Majority of snow pants are adjustable — so before you freak out how pricy one snow pant would be and you fear you will lose/gain weight, most pants are adjustable with velcro«belts.» 3. Snowboarding and Skiing pants are different but can be used interchangeably — snowboarding pants are a bit baggier and usually flare at the bottom because of the bulky boots you wear to attach to the board BUT you can also use it for skiing, and ski pants are slimmer but you can use it for snowboarding. 4. Don’t assume to go a size larger because of layering — if you’re a small, then wear a small; manufacturers know you’ll be bulking under, so stick to your size. 5. Comfort is key — these products are investments and most likely you’ll use the same snow gear in the next few snow trips; style is great but at the end of the day, you want to stay warm and comfortable, so don’t worry if your jacket is too poofy or your pants is too baggy because what matters is that you’re comfortably having a blast! We were also invited to join their annual company snow trip this April, which is open to all customers. Lift and lodging are accounted for in your fee, just pay for airfare. It’s an interesting way to see snow some more and you get to try out their snowboards and skis so you can provide feedback on the products and they’ll have an idea what to put on the shelves. It’s a win-win for everyone hehe. Prices are pretty steep but note that most snow gear are, but I do suggest to do your research before coming here. I was able to find some stuff on clearance, so it wasn’t too bad. Though, yes, they have everything you’ll need for your next snow trip and they’re of awesome quality!

I was at this store the evening before thanks giving. It was little quite there and seems like associates were getting ready for busy after thanksgiving sale. No one really helped me there so i left store little disappointed. Next day manager followed up with me. He was very attentive and really care about his business. It made me change my mind and come back to the store to get more things for my upcoming trip. Very Happy! Wide selection of merchandise. Caring management team! Happy Holidays Peter Glenn! And thank you!

Needing to gear up for my first ski trip ever, and hearing tons of TV ads about the sale at Peter Glenn, I headed there on a late Saturday afternoon to gear up. Who knew there was a place in perennially sunny Miami where you can ski clothes? As a total novice, I had hoped to get good guidance and have someone take me through the process on what I needed to buy/have. Unfortunately, Saturday afternoon was not the best day to do that. The store seemed to be filled with a bunch of people like me, who needed to get geared up from head to toe. I took the opportunity to watch several candidates for a Bravo«Miami Housewives» show come out of the dressing room in several outfits. These ladies who seemed like they were dropping a small fortune appeared to get most of the attention. A friendly sales rep paid attention to me and offered help but would then get sidetracked by other duties in the store or other customers. While there was a sale, the prices were still outside this novice’s budget. Some of the stuff that they didn’t have in stock, they offered to have it transferred to the store. You can definitely get everything you need here for a ski trip! For a rookie like me, however, I would have to come back on a less busy day of the week and a bigger, fatter wallet.
