I’m very disappointed! I’ve ordered a Lady’s Finger under the Rolls Combo section through Eat24. In the photo it shows 3 types of sushi rolls as a combo order. I’ve ordered in the past and it was 3 regular sushi rolls of my choice of the allowed selection that looked just like the picture. When I got my order, it was 3 tiny hand rolls(cone shape ones) which is not even close to what it showed on the Eat24 Menu. When I called to find out if they had changed it because it looked nothing like the photo, they insisted that it has always been hand rolls and not regular rolls. Fine, didn’t want to argue further, but then i realized they messed up the actual hand rolls too. I had selected 2 crab salad rolls and 1 salmon. Instead of giving me 2 crab salad rolls and 1 salmon roll, they gave me 2 crab stick(not salad) with 1 piece of salmon in all 3 of my hand rolls; with and extra side of fish bone in my salmon. I’m a big fan of sushi and Japanese cuisines in general and I promise I’m not from a competing business giving Oki a bad review. I’m just truly disappointed in them that their quality has certainly declined from what I remembered. I seriously doubt I would order from them again.

Probably won’t spend $ 10 again on a roll that is small enough to eat in one bite. Tasted good and seemed fresh but I was waiting for a nice lunch but just ended up having to order lunch twice because I was still hungry. Recommend if you want a quick bite just to hold you over for a bit but if you’re hungry and looking for a well sized meal, I recommend going somewhere else.

Excellent quality! A hidden gem in downtown Miami. Checkout the lunch and catering specials. The sushi is always fresh, tasty and not like some others that use frozen or poor quality fish.

Fast delivery and the rolls were good. Enjoyed the banana tempura dessert too. Will reorder again if they continue to be consistent in the quality of their food.

Sorry folks I am really not a picky eater but this was a horrendous experience. We happened to order at Okinawa Sushi Express because none of our favorite sushi places offered delivery to Brickell yesterday night because of Ultra Music Festival. After an exhausting wait of 90+ minutes, the delivery boy tried to screw us over and asked us twice to pay in cash although we had paid through the Eat24 app already(credit card payment). Unfortunately, our order itself did not make up for this frustrating incident. We ordered one Double Play Roll, an Osaka Roll, and one Salmon California Roll. I guess for the price you can’t ask for too much but you should at least be able to expect your rolls to be fresh. All rolls came in warm, rice was tasteless, and fish tasted rancid. Overall a very disappointing experience. I am definitely never going to order here again.

It’s cheap and in Brickelll, the selection could be better but the rolls aren under 10 which is a plus.

Well i have being ordering delivery from this place for a while now, and it was never very good but it was ok to eat but now its getting bad and I barely order from them now, only when I really don’t have a choice:-/ The teriyaky Salmon its so small now that it looks like a side dish and it was not like that before! The sushis don’t taste as fresh so I get a little worry to order from them now. Im sure they could do better, they just need to put some effort to it and make sure that they are cooking for people that want to eat good food as much as they themselves would like to;-)

You get what you pay for. There’s a few reasons sushi is generally a high priced item, so if you want to pay $ 8 for a full sushi dinner, don’t expect to be eating quality fish. If you’re ok with mall quality sushi(won’t make you sick, but might make you paranoid), then this is a great, quick, affordable option.

Salmon nigiri is always good. Shrimp tempura is actually fried, so it’s not really a tempura. Miami Heat roll was great. Other rolls have different quality each time. Staff is really nice but in order to reach next level, they have to have a constant and consistent quality of food and ingredients.

Love their salmon lovers! However, it’s like playing roulette when it comes to freshness, you never know when will you get fresh rice or hard to chew rice. My favorite roll is definitely Miami Heat. The staff is friendly. I just wish they always serve everything fresh.

Got delivery from here the other night and was not disappointed one bit! The raw fish was still fresh once it arrived, the prices are CHEAP and the ginger was fresh smelling and tasting as well.(big pet peeve when the ginger smells rotten) This spot reminds me a lot of Hiro’s express in South Beach and NMB-Just a quick, fast-food style sushi joint. Some are more good than others, but this one did not have the downfalls of Hiro’s in North Miami Beach. The eel sauce tasted homemade too! Not thick and syrupy like most places. It was like ponzu with a sweet, tangy kick to it. Overall, it was cheap and delivered fast and did the job. Will order again when I need my sushi quick fix!

This is a fish on a ball or rice place… The rice was poorly seasoned, no flavor. Not somewhere I will return to.

Sometimes you just want some cheap, no frills sushi. That’s where Okinawa comes in. It’s my go-to for sushi delivery and always arrives super fast! While you might be wary of sashimi from a place with«sushi express» in the name, each time I’ve ordered the sashimi appetizer, I’ve been impressed by the cuts of fish. It’s not the best I’ve ever had but gets the job done. Besides that, I’ve tried a few rolls, including my standby, spicy tuna, and been impressed by it all. For starters, I’d suggest the miso soup but not the popcorn shrimp that were a little soggy. The cheesecake roll for dessert wasn’t bad but not something I’ve been tempted to order again. Overall, two of us can get STUFFED on less than 30 dollars. Definitely hits the spot when sushi cravings come in.

Absolutely horrifying. I just ordered and couldn’t eat it. The fish had an awful smell and everything seemed as if it was out for a long time! Horrendous! Please stay away and save your money!

I feel that portion sizes and food quality have declined as of late. I order take-out from Okinawa quite frequently because they are one of the few places offering brown rice as an option. I know, it’s not authentic but I am going for nutritional value. Brown rice is an extra $ 2.00 per roll. While the rolls are inexpensive, pretty much in the $ 5 to $ 10 range, they are also very small, so you have to order at least two. One of the better rolls is the salmon tempura roll. I get mine without cream cheese. The menu states it has asparagus but it doesn’t. Still nice and crunchy. My rainbow roll fell apart, as did the California roll, mostly due to undercooked, unseasoned brown rice. The eel roll was dry and bland. Nigiri is okay, salmon being the safe choice. Tuna not so great. I do recommend their salmon tataki appetizer. Simple, tender salmon with a nice dipping sauce.

This isnt the kind of place you take a date for dinner. It is the kind of place where you satisfy your need for sushi without breaking the bank. Its fresh(at-least fresher than the whole foods) and the service is relatively quick(emphasis on relatively). Working in the area its definitely one of those spots I will go back more often than not. Affordable and good. Not bad at all.

This is my go to spot when I have my sushi cravings and am feeling more ambitious than standard Publix sushi(which somewhat fills my sushi cravings) Parking around here is a little rough, so I usually walk here from Brickell– nice 15 min walk right across the bridge. It’s cheap, fresh, and quick. I think the Okinawa Special is the best bang for the buck. You get a mix of about 13 pieces of nigiri and rolls for about $ 9ish with tax. Definitely at this price point though– don’t expect this to be the best sushi of your life, it’s actually just a bit better than average– but I still love this place. Fyi – their soy sauce doesn’t come in packets– they repackage bulk soy sauce into their own containers– but no complaints since I usually just pick up and eat at home. Writing this review makes me want Okinawa now!

Okinawa is a very good option for a quick dine-in or takeaway. It is not fancy, however the quality ingredients is good. Great price to quality. Not the traditional japanese sushi place. Miami Heat and Deagon Roll are my top choices. If you love salmon they have a «salmon lover» plate. I have my standard order saved into my Unilocal account, so I can order pretty fast.

I LOVE Okinawa! It’s an incredible deal nestled in the downtown area. The service is super fast, price is unbelievable and the sushi is delicious. If I lived in Brickell I would be here every week! Much better than picking up any takeout Sushi Maki from Publix. I only wish they delivered to Coral Way. The only gripe I had was that the seaweed salad is a bit overpriced, but that really is a tiny blip on the wonderful menu with so many items with one digit prices. The sign and exterior may not be notable, but it’s definitely worth your time and will make for a delicious meal!

Tempura shrimp — awesome — good quality shrimp. Nicely battered. Assorted sushi plate. Fresh tasting good quality fish. Clean restaurant — very, very helpful counter lady. Very reasonably priced. Will dido finitely come back when in town again. Two thumbs up. :)
