Sadly, we had an awful experience. The dining area was infested with flying bugs. They were flying and getting all over our food. We saw them all stuck on the walls, tables, and chairs. When we brought it up to our server, she got the manager who dismissed the issue saying they were just«fruit flies». We were moved to another table as if the bugs would not fly there too. By then we were grossed out and lost our appetite. We felt badly having to leave all of our uneaten food but there was no way we were going to eat it. We were leaving and then the manager had the gumption of offering a «15%» discount to our check! We were speechless at the lack of regard for sanitation and lpublic safety and charging us for food we didn’t eat on top! At the end we just wanted to leave, we ended up paying for one meal(there were two of us dining). Needless to say we were indignant, paid and left. Below, please see the results of the inspection from the health department, restaurant section: it looks like they found plenty of health sanitation violations :(

Well I saw this location recently and decided I wanted to try it. I absolutely love going to buffets so it was a must for me. When walking in I was a little surprised to see how nice it looked inside. Almost Felt as if I was going to a high end restaurant. Very bright very colorful the place looks really nice. The dinning area was also very nice the booths are stylish very fancy. Wasn’t sure if i was at a buffet or not at this point. Food selection not as much as i would have wanted. Food quality was i would say as any other buffet. The norm fried rice, noodles, chicken etc. They have hibachi station where they make shrimp, steak and chicken. It was pretty good they have different sauces and the food is obviously nice and hot. They also have a pretty good selection of sushi though i did see some repeats I guess to fill. Overall the place is really nice looking. Gives you the fancy element. The food on the other hand is nothing special but not bad. Waitress where attentive.

Just finished dinner here and it looks decent inside, but the same as Tokyo Buffet across the street. Same owners, same everything. EDIT: Well, I didn’t eat breakfast nor lunch and I just shat my brains out. Coincidence? Perhaps, but not likely…

Being Japanese buffet lovers, my family and I decided to try this new restaurant about a month after its opening. Unfortunately, I honestly was not very impressed by it at all. Compared to other similar buffets I’ve been to, the selection at Nikudo was somewhat disappointing. Dishes were poorly labeled, and there appeared to be several repeats in the sushi selection. Furthermore, though I pride myself on my ability to eat nearly everything imaginable, I was not able to finish some of the dishes because they didn’t taste completely fresh. I had a major problem with the cleanliness of the restaurant as well. The stack of napkins that we received had a big stain at the top, and the general cleanliness of various areas(such as the bathroom doors, etc.) left much to be desired. The final straw for me was when I checked out the fruit/dessert section, only to find a giant swarm of flies hovering over the pineapple bowl. I had to notify a waiter, who took it away and returned a short while later with a new bowl, which promptly filled up with flies once again. Some of the food was good and none of us got sick afterwards, so the place doesn’t warrant a one-star rating. However, I was not at all impressed with the food options or the sanitation, and thus believe that this restaurant deserves two stars. I will not come back to Nikudo again.

I came to this restaurant the first day they opened and the food suck! It wasn’t fresh and had an upset stomach caused by the food in the buffet.

OK so I had Nikudo last night for dinner and the food was fresh and tasted great ! They offer sushi and an awesome hibachi(my favorite) My only issue is that I recognized the employees as being the same people from the Tokyo Buffet that was closed a few months ago right across the street. In my previous reviews regarding Tokyo Buffet I was so disgusted with the filth in that place and so glad once they closed them down! I hope that they do not allow this new establishment to because as filthy and roach infested as Tokyo Buffet. Only time will tell.

I went for lunch on Sunday, 29 of November that was just two days after it’s opening. The food was fresh, tasty and reasonable in price. The challenge is to keep up this level.
