Neighborhood Humidor

This is one of those places that makes me feel like I’m back in the day…
A place where you can hang out, relax, have a cigar, talk about what’s going on in the world and feel right at home.
Nestled into a shopping center just east of 137^th avenue and Southwest 8^th Street, The Neighborhood Humidor caters to the cigar aficionado. A walk in humidor filled with a great selection of well known and boutique cigars, there’s something in there for every cigar smoker.
Weekly events include domino tournaments, sports nights (basketball, football baseball, hockey, and even soccer), music and a great lounge atmosphere.
There is also a locker membership available for the avid smokers with additional specials and perks.

I don’t know much about cigars but, I know this much; an Humidor Room will make a difference on your cigar. Yes, they do have one and quite nice and large with many sought after cigars to choose from. I have been here several times for their events; i.e. NBA, NFL, etc. Their knowledge of cigars is beyond what one would expect. Even if you’re not a Cigar Aficionado, I recommend coming here for that gift for the special Aficionado in your life. They have many related items to choose from, not just cigars. Follow them on Twitter and Facebook, they are very active on both. Hence, the fifth star.

There’s nothing like the aroma of a fine cigar.
As a cigar aficionado and connosieur for over fifteen years, I tend to look for those little out of the way places that carry not only the regular staples of any decent cigar shop, but also those boutique tabacos that make the world so interesting. This is considered a happy place by many.
With the first year under their belt, Gabe and Eddie have turned this into a a hidden gem. A walk in humidor with a great selection of the best premium cigars, the ocassional cuban cafecito, and the great mix of regulars that are always here, make this a true neighborhood humidor. If it’s not a game on tv, there’s always something going on. Dominos, a heated discussion over who makes the best cuban sandwich, or just plain relaxing and enjoying the latest offerings from the premium cigar families, this is the place to be. Long Ashes!

While the Neighborhood Humidor might not be as big as some of the superstores in Miami it does have a nice walk in humidor and a great mix of regulars who are very welcoming to new people.
