This is an excellent store close to downtown and Brickell — they string rackets fast and very reasonable! Great clothing and shoes and make great stringing recommendations!

I just started taking tennis lessons and one of my goals while in Miami was to get my first racket. My instructor recommended a specific one (Babolat Pure Drive Lite), and I couldn’t find it at any of the big stores (i.e., Sports Authority).
So after a quick Unilocal search this one showed up and I stopped by.
The owner of the shop was there and I explained what I needed. He didn’t have my specific racket but he said he could get it in a few days. I was in a hurry since I only had 3 more days in Miami and he managed to get it in just 2, with the strings included.
The day I showed up to pick it up his wife was there instead of him. She was super nice and I walked out of the store happily swinging the racket in the air like some crazy Federer wannabe.
It’s a small store but they have all of the essential gear, plus some clothes. Make sure you stop by here before going to the big stores!

I love this shop owned by Mario Tabares and his wife. My coach Silvio Martinez introduced me to the shop years ago and I shop nowhere else for my tennis racquets and accessories. They are well stocked, knowledgeable, reasonably priced and friendly. Highly recommended!

After hearing about this store from a friend, I decided to come in and check it out. Being a new tennis enthusiast, I was looking for a nice racquet. They were able to help me out in picking the perfect one. They gave me tips and tricks on how to string my new racquet and even strung it for a low price. They have nice apparel, tennis shoes, racquets of all types, equipment, and accessories. I highly recommend this store. It is owned by a former ATP player.

This is a mom-​and-​pop store that runs a honest business, and is frankly the closest tennis store to downtown Miami as far as I’m concerned.
They’ll be able to tell you if you need to have your equipments repaired or not, and can give you pretty good recommendations. But in case if you need a new racquet — they have several brands, and even sell some used racquets at a reasonable price.
They also have a lot of clothing that’s perfect for a good tennis workout.
