I ordered the chicken soup the flavor was really good but you could see the oil floating on top too much of it, also I ordered the vaca frita and it was ok… not delicious. Not worth the money.

Great little spot in Little Havana! If you’re looking for a delicious sandwich this is the place! The sandwiches are big and cheap, you can’t beat it. Service is very friendly! Please remember if you’re paying with a cc you won’t be able to add tip, so take a few bucks cash to tip, they deserve it.

This is a little open air shack in Little Havana. The reason I’m giving it 5 stars is, because of the prices and how large the sandwiches are. Excellent prices and extra large tasting sandwiches deserve 5 stars. The can of soda are $ 1. Also they have never disappointed me when I call in for a pick up and when dinning in the staff is very helpful. Check out my(media noche) sandwich picture only $ 4.50. I say, BETTERTHANSUBWAYS.

Delicious fritas! I have been coming here for the last 12 years. I left Miami and when I came back after 6 years I could not wait to get my hands on one! And yummmm!

I’ve never had a Cuban Sandwich before, not too impressed but hey. The Cuban coffee was amazing, really hits you hard if you’re into that sorta thing. The waitresses were rude if you didn’t speak Spanish. Overall it’s a good little Cuban restaurant, excellent for a quick meal.

Great Cuban, hotdog, actually everything. Friendly staff but definitely not the friendliest of neighborhoods

Pan con bistec was great & probably the best I’ve ever had. Their Fritas are great as well. Service is adequate & prices are relatively cheap. Wait, what… No booze? Aww, come on. Location is a bit run down, but we’ll say that adds to the authenticity.

Late night starvation mode in Little Havana and where do we end up? The long standing Morro Castle! House of the famous Fritas and shake heaven! Too bad I don’t particularly dig Fritas and this night I passed on a shake… Sooo as I deviated from protocol I ended up with a bistec de pollo con moro y maduro… 3 star quality food at a super cheap price open til midnight… I take things for what they are! I’ll most likely end up at Morro Castle again at some point in the future, obviously I’ll be starving late night when that times comes… Until then, you won’t see any check-ins here from me! Yet I still LOVE supporting local businesses!

The service is always very friendly even if you’re a late customer, they treat you like family. The fitas are the«go-to» for me. The bread is soft and the meat is super tasty. I’ve tried other fritas in miami and they always make me feel sick so I come here for my Cuban fritas. They have 12 plus milk shade flavors, I’ve tried the coconut, mango, trigo(wheat) and Mamey and where all amazing. Not too sweet. People love the churros and hot chocolate here. The hot chocolate is not the best I’ve had but it’s definitely worth trying. The churros are great, just wish they had toppings :) If you have a small budget and want some tasty food, then this is a great place to get a quick bite or fulfill a late night craving.

Wen’t to this place for lunch and it was great. The Frita was absolutely delicious, the only thing that had me bothered was that they didn’t use Cuban bread on it. Other than that everything was great and inexpensive(spent like $ 5). I HIGHLY recommend trying the vanilla shake, it’s awesome!

If you’re looking just a place that’s cheap and you just want to satisfy your hunger. This is a good place to go. The place is not the very best looking so don’t expect anything great about it, it’s not your normal indoor seating restaurant. There’s only outdoor seating, it’s great to go when it’s not humid and hot. Like today! very cool breeze, awesome weather! I ordered a bistec de pollo and it comes with a salad and your choice of two sides. You can never go wrong with it ! My sister ordered a pan con bistec. And did I mention it’s cheap?! $ 3 and its big ! SCORE :) The meat is savory! however, it doesn’t come lettuce and tomato so if you want it on your pan con bistec you have to ask for it! The portions are big so it’s good for sharing! *Highly recommend to order their churros with hot chocolate on a really cold day! Super delicious.

Delish hot chocolate! Perfect balance, not too sweet or too bitter. Nice and thick but not overly thick. Two thumbs up. The rest of our group had milkshakes and said they were not as good. Churros also received a thumbs up. Head’s up — I believe there is a $ 10 minimum for a CC charge.

Wow, where has this place been all of my life?! How delicious and cheap! We stopped by this corner restaurant to order sandwiches, and i was surprised at how reasonably priced everything was. Everything is made to order, so you do not have to worry about stale bread or fries. I ordered a little bit of everything: a Frita sandwich, which had perfectly fried french fries. We also ordered a pan con chorizo, pan con bistec and fresh churros. OMG! Those were out of this world. Crisp to bite, but light enough that they didn’t feel heavy on the stomach. I really enjoyed this place and would like to come again.

This is the best tasting mistake you’ll make at ungodly hours when your sugar blues have been wailing incessantly URGING you to make terrible decisions in life. Strict dieting, thinspirstions and cleanses have a common enemy and it comes in densely doughy, deep fried and sugary form. Welcome to your new threshold of perdition and shame by reaching into a brown paper bag inside another plastic bag to keep you from being christened with hot oil and white sugar. Churro-pocalypse. Observe the jagged little edges in the fried dough that have trapped sugar and hold it into the light– magical right? Remind yourself you’re awful but at this moment you’re a maverick, a fat pioneer, the original vagabond of gluttony. You’re like a miner that has discovered a sacred relic and are holding it in your dirty hands with your stubby little Vienna sausage fingers. Enough talk– just put the damn churro in your mouth and flog yourself when you get home. You’ve done a terrible thing! NOT my favorite fritas here. But the churros and faces the ladies make when they get cat called by old men wearing Stetson are truly an experience. This place is hideous– I love it.

Kind of hole-in-the-wally. Good batidos de mamey. Good prices. I think they might have remodeled, although it’s hard to be sure. Very Cuban, less fancy version of Versailles restaurant. Traffic loud coming from the ave.

I don’t usually write reviews but this was pretty good. I’m not from around here and this was my first attempt at Cuban food. Had the fritas, fries and a banana shake. Skip the fries but definitely get the fritas. It was exceptionally good. I should have probably gotten the double as the single is comparable to a quarter pounder from McDonald’s. It has outdoor seating covered by am awning with fans. It was a hot day but was still cool under the awning. I would definitely stop by here again.

It seemed like the world was against me having this Frita! Finally I was able to get my hands on one and see what the fuss was all about! Well, the fuss was just a fuss. I mean, it was good don’t get me wrong. But not great. We all know I’m a HUGE fan of Cuban guys! And honestly they take the prize on this one! I mean, the place looks like it’ll fall down any second now! There’s only outdoor sitting so I’m this Miami weather it is extremely humid and hot! If you’re looking for great service, you’re not gonna get it! You get what you pay for. I guess people love it though because it was packed!!! I think the Frita was under seasoned and the bread needs to be different! Other than that the actual little fries were amazing! I want to try it out again during the winter for churros and hot chocolate! Maybe I’ll update my review then ;)

This review isn’t based on the food but the service and overall experience because we literally stepped in and left. To begin it’s all outside sitting, which is why I see it being so popular for the hot chocolate and churros during the one day of winter that miamians experience. The place looks dirty and in need of a makeover. After ordering a Frita we were informed the credit card machine was not working and they had already placed the order. Common sense would tell you to inform your customers about the inconvenience prior to placing the order, but I guess common sense really isn’t so common anymore. Maybe one day well pass by again and get to try the food. Just maybe
