These guys saved my shoot, especially Scott in Rentals. When FedEx failed to deliver one of my boxes from NY, which had my tripod and C-Stands, to the hotel, I called Midtown Video.
I literally had 2 hours left before my client was to show up for the shoot and when I explained the situation to Scott amidst what seemed to be a frantic Friday for him, he was patient, kind, courteous, and professional. He promised that he would have everything to me within an hour. And he did!
Alex came in the van and was just as nice and professional as Scott.
Equally important was the quality of the gear they arranged for me. Everything was clean and well maintained.

I tapped their rental department for some lighting gear for a shoot recently. The gear was great and the service was even better. My shoot went great, but it could have gone very differently if it wasn’t for Nick who stayed well after their regular closing time to wait for me to get through Miami suburban traffic. Midtown video is the bees knees if your looking to rent some video production gear. While they may not carry too much stuff for the indie film-maker they do have a huge amount of high end gear for rent, great prices, and most importantly the best customer service you won’t get from the other local video rental spots (I wont mention names, but if your from Miami, you know who I’m talking about.)
Another good thing to note is that also, unlike others, they take extremely good care of they’re gear. You will never receive damaged gear, uncharged batteries, or incomplete kits.
Check out their bullhorn too! At $ 10/day its the best buy in the place and its amazing!
