We were invited by club members on a Sunday afternoon for an early dinner. We had a really good time. The food was delicious and music was fun. Service was a tad slow however we were not in a rush so I really took my time to enjoy the ambience and food.

I had the distinct pleasure and honor to officiate a wedding at this quaint boater’s club. The marina has a beautiful view which is the area where the bride and groom got married. There is a tiki bar and a large outdoor sitting area. I was told this is an historic marina that is a private, member’s only boater’s club. But it seems to allow the general public to some events. As a wedding venue, it was excellent. The outdoor area was beautiful and after the wedding ceremony, we went indoors for the reception. It was nicely decorated for the occasion and the food was excellent — they served a seafood paella that was simply delish! If it’s open to the public, I will be back to enjoy the view and food again.

Mami outboard club had been around for decades. It is one of the first private marinas in Miami. It is a hated area where you can keep your boat either on a slip or on land. The great thing about MOC is the location. It is right behind Jungle Island. You are minutes from the beach, intercoastal, and some of the best fishing in the world.
