My parents had McKay pads and were very happy with them. I was delighted to find out that although McKay Custom Products only sells wholesale, I was able to get my pads from a company called Touch Up Artistry of NY, . I was nervous about having pads custom made, but the owner, Ron, put my mind at ease explaining the extra steps he takes to make sure that the pads fit correctly. He also explained their policy that even if there was a problem, the pads would be remade at no charge. He was truly a gentleman, a perfectionist and a pleasure to deal with. To my delight, the pads arrived in perfect condition and fit precisely. They are very nicely made, and I love the locks that connect the pads to each other. Because I’m so pleased with the pads and the great experience dealing with Ron, I’m thinking of having pads made for my buffet as well. I would highly recommend these pads and Ron to any family or friends who want to protect their furniture.

I searched for pads for a while but was turned off by pushy salespeople who lowered the price every time I said I wanted to think about it(made me feel like I would have overpaid if I didn’t say I wasn’t ready). I actually stopped looking for a while. Then my friend recommended the McKay brand which I found at Touch Up Artistry of NY online. 888−378−3369. No gimmicks. No teaser ads. Everything is very straightforward. A pleasure to deal with. They were by far the most knowledgeable and had some practical suggestions that even reduced my cost. In addition to the pads, I also got a storage bag for the extension board, and another bag they make for storing the pads when they’re not on the table. I love the pads and would gladly recommend them to others.

They sell furniture pads or for us dining room table pads. The pads are very expensive, They advertise from within furniture stores and have brainwashed the staff to think that the pads are made to fit your table, but unfortunately ours didn’t fit perfectly. The pad overhangs over all four sides of the table. It makes for an ugly pad to go on your table. And it doesn’t sit flush, it has raised edges where each pad connects to the next pad. And one of our pads has a half pea sized bump under the plastic cover on the top of the pad. The products takes 3 weeks to get to you and inside the box there isn’t even any documentation on how to contact them if there are problems. All there is is an address to where it came from. Look elsewhere, other furniture stores sell ones that are magnetic which looked a lot nicer and they were a lot cheaper than these. Ours were advertised at Bigdon Furniture in Paducah, KY.
