Mama Yogurt

They changed recently from a punch-​card reward system to 5-​Star. Tonight they transferred $ 2 from my card to my 5-​star account, intead of the $ 40+ that I had accumulated. Total gyp. Total inhappy.

Very disappointing since the venue changed ownership. The yogurt tastes like it’s been watered down to save money. It was so bad we ended up throwing it away. Don’t bother!

Very good yogurt :) loved it and has a nice and cute atmosphere. Good prices and are open pretty late for a yogurt shop. Love it.

This the best frozen yogurt I’ve ever have in my life. The costumer service is super attentive and it is a lovely place to go and have a good time with you partner.

Who doesn’t love them some FROYO? Hehe Mama’s has the best hours, It’s always open ;) The people who work here sre always so happy. I enjoy that they switch up the flavors frequently and are really flavored no like other who taste watery. Recently I’m surprised with the new stuff. Yum Yum Yum! Ivalways leave looking foward to the next return.

Amazing service and yogurt. As well as great coffee. The owner took her time in explaining how the coffee was different from Cuban coffee, and how we may not like it given that we were used to a different pallet.

The WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Not only the lady was very disrespectful but she kept on and on!!! Was very inappropriate after paying for the most expensive coffee ever… We were told that since we were Cubans «we only like burnt and rubber car tire flavor coffee!!! I can’t still believe that just happened! She deserve a slap but since we are educated Cubans we only posting our bad experience at this awful place! By the way she’s Venezuelan and u love Arepas‼

Perhaps you misunderstood. Our dissatisfaction was less about the coffee and more about the way we were treated .We are well-​traveled people and have also experienced coffee from around the world with different tastes and prepared in a variety of ways.
Our order was for Expresso/​Cuban-​style coffee which, whether to you it exist or not, is very widely known in Miami where your establishment exist. If you were trying to educate us about your barista techniques and gourmet coffee there should be a better way of communicating with clientele, especially when we were asked about the Taste of the coffee. To say that Cuban coffee does not exist or that we prefer The Taste of burnt tired USA poor way of communicating to your clientele, who, might I say are likely to be mostly Cubans. Like I said in my first comment to people in Unilocal… Save your self from the BAD Experience (going to this place) thanks. -

This is a cute little place but the yogurt was just ok-​the toppings I chose were subpar. Mainly because the chocolate covered almonds were old.
However, the kiddos enjoyed theirs so that’s all that matters. Not awful for the price but I doubt we make it one of our go to places. It’s definitely no sweet frogs. Maybe I am spoiled…

After reading all the great reviews, I was excited to try this place as I’m a great supporter of mom and pop stores! But when I first walked in, the female owner was in the employee area for a while before she came out to see what I needed. When she finally came out, she spoke very rudely.
Now the stuff that matters: the yogurt! I don’t know if it was my timing, but most of the flavors tasted the same and were just very sugary. The Nutella flavor was pretty good, though! I also got very little and ended up paying twice as much as I would at Menchies. Definitely sticking to Menchies next time!

Love this place. Great balance of fruit type flavors and dessert ones. I usually get the dulce de leche and red velvet flavors.
Keep your card, every 4 yogurts the 5^th is free and after the next 4 the 10^th is free!
Also the owner is very sweet and they open pretty late.

Yummy frozen yogurt! It was not packed and had lots of different toppings. If you are looking for a nice sweet treat around this area this is a great option.

The yogurt i got was coconut with fruity pebbles, cheesecake, mochi, and the popping bubbles. I wasn’t a big of the mochi because it got hard in the froyo but the mix of coconut and fruity pebbles were so good. The reason i gave it for 4 stars was being i’m not too big of a fan of the other flavors. But a big plus is they close a bit later than most froyo shops.

Came for the first time today, after purchasing groupon.
Cute place, even have seating for the kids, which is always great.
The person attending the register was polite. Though she didn’t come out of storage area for a while 2 – 3 minutes, when I first arrived (why I kept one star).
The yogurt tasted yummy, and they had an ok amount of toppings.
I kept another star for the following reasons:
–TV on, showing news. This is a frozen yogurt place, a place to disconnect. Not sure why they would have the news on. News was later changed to cartoons, which is another pet peeve. I don’t know if I am old school or what, but I don’t take my child out to watch tv. Getting the TV turned off, then upset the children– kept it off to elimate issue, is my recommendation. There was music going on, which was nice. No need for TV, in my opinion.
–toppings such as condense milk and other liquid substances were held inside containers which did not look appealing. I frequent other locations and they are kept in very nice containers. Check out your competitors to achieve «the look»!
–The sun hits you right in the face if you go after 3ish. They have no blinds or anything to provide sun coverage.
–I saw on the pictures they have up, that ballon animals are made for the kids (cute right?) well, not today. Ballon machine broken. Bohoooo.
We did enjoy the yogurt, and will most likely return if in the area, but if I had to choose between this location and menchies… I would go to Menchies.

We have been here a few times and we love it. They are very nice and friendly. The best part is that they always have something for my son that has a dairy allergy.

Mama Yogurt is clean, the interior is inviting and has a nice selection of flavors. I tried a mixture of Dulce de leche with peanut butter cups, Nutella with cheesecake, and cake batter with sprinkles and yogurt-​covered animal crackers. Next time I visit, I will go for a more tart combination and add fruits and nuts. All the fruit looked fresh and there were lots of toppings to choose from. I pretty much filled my cup and spent $ 5 with my student id (15% off).
I usually avoid this shopping center (needs some remodeling), but I took the advice of a coworker and tried this place out. I’m glad I did!

Usually come to this place. Have never really been disappointed. Get the same flavor every time and love it. Cookies n cream and cake batter. Toppings I either put none if I’m being strict or I just go with waffles. Yum.
