The food was mediocre. It was either over salted or undersalted, small portions. Ham with the mushrooms was way too salty. The shrimp with garlic was not salty enough. Also the bread was hard like a rock. Sangria was good though!

SO it has been years since I’ve been here and wanted to give it a try. Not impressed. The«bandeja Iberica» looked like it was put together from Costco presliced cheese and chorizo. The patatas alioli had very little flavor, mostly just mayo. The pimientos de pardon were likes little sponges of oil. Super over oily. The pulpo was OK, but have definitely had better in other Spanish restaurants. The champinones appetizer with jamon was good. The service was good, restaurant was empty though. The ambiance definitely needs some help. It was too quiet and lacked energy. I found the food to be overpriced for what was served.

Amazing food and service! Octopus appetizer is the best I’ve ever had! Sangria was amazing and the crema Catalana was a great ending to an amazing meal!

We arrived at this location and honestly didn’t know what to expect, looks are definetely deceiving. As soon as we walked in, they welcomed us with a smile and a «bienvenidos» we had Great service, everything we ordered from the sangria to the desserts was excellent, appetizers were perfect while we waited for the paella which took 45 minutes but time went by fast and we were entertained trying the different Tapas. I recommend the salpicón de mariscos followed by some gambas al ajillo where you can dip the warm crusty bread while sipping on the refreshing red sangria. The pulpo was oh so delicious, then the paella arrives and its devine. I love trying different places but will make an exception and come visit Los Gallegos again while in the area.

I had camarones enchilados which were good served with about 3 tablespoons of white rice. We ordered spa castellana. It was extremely greasy, not well made at all. The tortilla de papas had a strange flavor, it was either old or not made right. The parking is the worst. All in all, not worth it. Expensive restaurant with mediocre ambience and ok food. Will not return.

We ordered paella — it was good, except that it seemed to lack the fish broth liquid flavor that I am accustomed to — my wife believed it had a Cuban cooks influence rather than Spanish — also it didn’t use the small round rice — it looked more like long grain rice –not bad mind you — just not what we expected. The Gazpacho was ok but lacked freshness. Almond cake was excellent — suspect we’ll try other Spanish restaurants in the future

The food was good. The service was decent. It was empty during our visit. My guess, the reason why is that you can get the same dishes for the same price but tastier at Bulla in Coral Gables. All of the food was very good. The grilled sea bass was tasty and cooked perfectly. We had a variety of tapas and were pleased but if you want atmosphere — you head a mile east.

All the food is great but I especially love the grilled sea bass, the house wine, and the almond cake. The ribeye is good too. I had the sea bass tonight. It’s crispy outside, moist and buttery inside with a mild garlic flavor. There are toasted garlic cloves on top too. I skip those, but my wife likes them for the nutty flavor. It has clean, white table cloths and is quiet enough for a conversation. You can park in front or on the side. Sometimes empty spots are scarce. Outdoor seating is in back, but I always dine indoors.

If you really want to experience a Spanish restaurant, in which you feel like you’re in Spain, this is the place. Many delicious tapas and excellent wine to choose from, along with your lunch or dinner. The staff has lots of experience and knowledge of the industry, and they make you feel comfortable in this family oriented styled, Spanish restaurant. They have a legend like character named Victor who has been there for many years. He probably knows Spanish food and Spanish wine better than most people. If you don’t know what to choose from, ask Victor and he’ll advise you with expertise.

Had noticed this place in the past but never had a chance to check it out. Def surprised me. The food was good with decent selection; they had actual entrees, I was getting tired of all the new Spanish places that only serve tapas. The service was great.

Absolutely delicious! My bf and I shared gambas al ajillo, Manchego and Serrano ham dish, and corvina a la viscaina… Wonderful! The service was exceptional. Highly recommend! Not to forget, crème brûlée and coffee to close out the night!

Maybe because I was expecting so much more based on the reviews, but I just was not feeling it. Let me start with the good. The place is quaint and clean. Service was good. The Sangria was very good. And very well priced for a ½ carafe. $ 10 The Gambas al Ajillo good and plenty of garlic to dunk your bread in. The ok. The ham croquettes. These were perfectly uniform in size and shape which leads me to believe that they are not homemade. They tasted ok but heavy on the bechamel and light on the ham. Crema Catalana. Just okay. The taste was not bad but the cream was really thick and the sugar top was chewy. ‘Nuff said. The not so good. The fried cochinillo tapas. This dish consisted of about 6 pork chunks topped with tons of garlic for $ 12.50. The chunks were crispy on the outside but practically all fat on the inside. Barely any meat. I only had one piece because my arteries were begging for mercy. The parking lot sucks. We went in for lunch but were not offered a lunch menu. When we asked if they have a lunch special, our server mentioned 2 dishes. Grilled chicken or corvina. Each comes with a cup of soup. Not many options. We watched another couple sit down, peruse the menu, ask about lunch special then just walk out. I wanted to do the same but we did not since we had already attacked the bread basket. The non-seafood paella is $ 20. Per Person, so we could not share. Three tapas, a ½ carafe of sangria and a crema Catalana came out to $ 46+ tip. We will stick to Club Iberico for delicious Spanish food.

Simple home style Spanish tapas… all are great! Small and cozy, feels like you are in a small bar in Spain where you can sit, talk, eat, and drink comfortably. The menu is pretty basic and most certainly authentic… no pretentiousness. If you are looking for authentic old school spanish. GO!

Coming home from a honeymoon in Barcelona, my wife and I were craving some tapas. I always passed by this place. It doesn’t look too inviting from the outside. Between a vacant lot and a coin laundry place with a sign that looks like it has been around since the 80’s. It isn’t a place where you have to drive out of the way to eat here, but if your in the neighborhood and in the mood for Spanish food then you should check it out. The service was great, but I think most of the waitresses are pretty much Spanish speaking only. So if your like me, bring your Cuban wife with you. We ordered all tapas and sangria. Sangria was good. They serve the fruit in the cup instead of the pitcher. I don’t know if that’s good or bad. The best was the garbanzo beans. It was perfectly savory and a lot of nice flavors. I cook chickpeas often, in different ways, but I couldn’t figure out how they made it taste so well. We also ordered the small fried fish, which were actually kinda big. I’m used to fish bait size looking fish, but each fish was a couple of inches. A little bigger than your average french fry which is exactly how I ate them. Everything else was made well and I would come back here again.
