So, Miami Beach is trying to kill me… or maybe it’s just my apartment.* It seems that I am very allergic to *something* around here. For years now(literally, years), I have had sinus issues I’ve never had before in life. Whether it’s congestion, pressure, constant sneezing, drainage, sore throat, or more snot than a preschool(shall I continue?), my world’s been a pretty miserable place. Unable to find an ENT to suitably help me(after a temporary fix, my symptoms came back with a vengeance), I ventured off Unilocal(the horror!) and started in on a search to find someone to cure what ails me. I found Dr. Grunebaum. Trained in the mid-Atlantic(and attending the brother college to mine), I felt immediately comfortable with her. First off, she respects my time. Each of my visits have begun on time and with her ready to go. It seems like a small thing. Here in Miami… not so much. Her bedside manner is very approachable and, above all else, she listens. Before trying this or that, she asked why I was there, what I thought my me the problem and what I’d tried. We went through a series of tests. We asked questions of each other. She looked up my nose and down my throat(another scope which didn’t hurt me this time). She recommended a course of action and a plan to follow up on it in order to make me better. I *have* gotten better. I’m not 100% because there are some last things I need to do but I see a light at the end of the tunnel that isn’t a train(or, at least, a sinus train). Oh, and her office space is shiny, new and spotless; just what you want to see when going to the doctor. If you’re having ENT issues, I’d suggest you’d make an appointment with Dr. Grunebaum. I think she could help you. *I’m pretty sure it’s my apartment.
