I called to schedule an appointment with them, and the receptionist mumbled so badly I couldn’t understand her. I asked her to repeat herself, and she hung up on me.
I called back, and Ms. Mumbler answered again and hung up on me again.
I called back again, and a different person answered. She was able to schedule my appointment; however, she was completely unapologetic about the poor service I received and was almost just as rude to me. She treated me like I was annoying her, what with my request that a dentist office schedule a dental appointment for a paying customer.
I’m having to get a cavity filled, and I’m hoping that the doctor is better than his staff. Based on this experience, I’m worried that he’ll get frustrated and just walk out, leaving the drill in my mouth.
PS I’ve only been once so far (I’d go somewhere else, but this is the only one my plan covers). That appointment took 2−½ hours for a cleaning, and they only worked on me for about 20 minutes of that 2−½ hours. The doctor didn’t even see me.

La Casita Dental is probably one of the better dentists in Little Havana. The dental assistants, hygienist, and doctor I encountered were very helpful and kind. They were more than happy to engage me in conversation and they were interested in actually giving me the best care possible. I got X-​Rays and a routine cleaning. Martha did a fantastic job on my cleaning, she was very friendly and efficient.
However, what really keeps this dentist from being a 5 star place is that you will be seen 1 to 2 hours later from your appointment time. The wait is ridiculous! Being a walk-​in is simply out of the question. I tried coming early in order to avoid waiting so long, but regardless of your appointment time you will have to wait.
The staff is wonderful, but unfortunately they do need to adjust some things in their office and be more considerate of their patients’ time.

My year cleaning appointment at 10:30AM. and its over 2 hours and still waiting. Avoid this doctor! Need an organization overhaul.
