This is my local breakfast spot. The Bistec a Caballo is deadlines very well and never has much fat at all. The grits have got to be the best I’ve ever tasted. I think they make them feel with buttermilk or something. Eggs have never been overdone. Coffee and tostada are always on the spot. Staff is great.

Went here for breakfast twice as it’s my favorite meal to go out for. The service was good but the food was lacking. The croquettas taste as if they’re cooked in recycled oil and the eggs and everything else was«nothing to write home about». After giving it two shots I’m pretty much done with this spot. I prefer Sergio’s on 120th or Casavana in Town and Country.

I found this place by chance one morning. They have the best empanadas in Kendall, better than any Argentine place and they’re less than $ 1.50. They have the same exact menu with even the same daily specials as El Rinconcito Latino, but the food is both a little better and a little cheaper. I used to be loyal to El Rinconcito, but now I know why this place put«Super» and I’m a cheating whore.

I was not feeling well and needed some chicken soup. I ordered a large soup and while I waiting for my soup I craved empanadas. OMG!!! They were delicious. I got a beef and a chicken to share with my husband. They were big and filled with meat. Most importantly they were made to order and so fresh. My favorite was the chicken. I highly recommend it! The service was very good the ladies were nice and informative even telling me about their special and cantina which I plan to try soon :)

This place is now Riconcito Super Latino. The food is so much better than it was before! I ordered a pan con bistec for lunch. It was not the usual pan con bistect I was used to. They did not put any shoe string potatoes that I am so used to and I was craving but they up for it with the steak! The steak was tender and the flavor was really good. The thing I found most interesting is that they put ham on it. Sweet serrano ham. They serive it with french fries which most places don’t so that was also nice.

We have breakfast about 3 times per week at this restaurant, the food is ok, but there is really not a lot of choices around the area. This place has a lot of potential, here are some areas of improvement: — AC seems to be off every time we walk in the morning — The reggeaton and bachata is playing really loud in the morning, not really what you want to hear just waking up.(when we asked to turn it down a bit, they turn just turned it off, great sarcastic service!!! — Maybe add some more healthy options, not everyone enjoys everything fried — Maybe also add an american coffee $ 30 machine We will continue to visit this place, the price for the amount of food is as expected from any latin place. Service is good could be much better, keep up the good work

I live very close to this place so I decided to give it a try. It’s where the Gridiron used to be. I had Charasco and shrimp. I’m pretty sure I spelled it wrong but it was good

$ 5.00 for breakfast including tip? This is the best bang for the buck you will ever find probably anywhere in Miami. The breakfast special is a gift. It’s a fantastic neighborhood type of restaurant, not a place to host an event, but for a quick meal, close to my house, it’s a great bargain. The staff is courteous and maybe under staffed, but it compensates for the good meal and price.

Update: went back today, ordered the daily special which was Filet de Pescado. I was given a choice between tilapia and bass, and I chose bass. It was phenomenal. It costs $ 7 and came with two sides– better than any $ 17 piece of fish I could’ve ordered at an upscale restaurant. My boyfriend asked me to post this review for Latin Restaurant after having a late lunch there. The pollo a la plancha was only 9 $ for an incredibly large portion. The quality was great and the food was flavorful. He works at a Sprint store nearby this restaurant and says he will be visiting frequently for lunch in the future.

This place is very close to my house at first everything was fine, I had order cantina and I mistakenly missed one day, I didn’t call it in … so the next day i told the lady at the order window to please make me to orders since yesterday I didn’t pick it up… she went and asked the Manager and he arrogantly, told me NO… that if I missed the previous day I lost it, you go figure… so I told him well for been just and ASSHOLE you lose a customer… food is OK grease as any other Cuban restaurant … I will never go back to a place that doesn’t have any customer services by an arrogant Manager … my recommendations take your money somewhere else with more class

QUEASCO Don’t Kid yourself! Don’t do it! I know sometimes us west-kendalites get desperate and wishfully expect half-decent meals in our neighborhood, but unless it’s a Peruvian restaurant, or maybe even Pizza, don’t do it! Let me describe the“food”: Every dish was bathed in of-questionable-quality, recycled canola oil. Churrasco did not taste like churrasco. My grilled piece of fish was undercooked and slimey, with a sazon completa crust. There was no use of mojo, ajo, naranja agria, taste that one expects from cuban food. What I ate was; a science project, the most offensive thing i’ve put in my mouth, a disaster, a waste of money, GARBAGE! I can only imagine a garbage pale kid feasting on food served in this restaurant. I am beyond offended, there is no excuse… a prison’s kitchen could have done a better job. To the community: It is not fair that this is what the area has to offer. We deserve better than this!
