This is a great place if your want to take with you the Latin-Cuban flavour. Also prices are very reasonable. I had a Tortilla de Queso(Cheese omelette), and my wife had a Medianoche(Sandwich with cheese, ham, pork Cuban type). The omelette comes with a delicious coffee and Cuban bread. This is a must!!!

Found this place while my husband and I were on a day trip from the west coast of Florida. We were driving around looking for a place to have a Café con Leche and found this gem! This restaurant is divided into two. We opted to go into the bakery side and were pleasantly surprised at the food selection there too! The Cuban pastries were beautifully displayed. Of course, seeing the menu, we opted to split a Pan con Bistec along with our Café con Leche. Both were amazing and the customer service was superb! We couldn’t leave without trying a pastry and from so much to pick from, we finally chose a vanilla custard pastry that was out of this world! This is a place that we will certainly be returning to when we are back in town!

Drove by and parking lot was packed even at 2 pm! So. Had to try it! It smelled heavenly when we walked into bakery part! Had Cuban sandwich and my husband had one with chorizo, ham, cheese and roasted peppers, both were huge and extraordinary! Cuban coffee is $.80 ! Definitely going back before I leave miami!

The quality of the food here is excellent specially when you take in to consideration the cheap prices. Make sure you try the evaporated milk cortadito because it’s one of the best in town. The pastries are delicious and super authentic-CUBAN. Around the Christmas season they make flan de calabasa(pumpkin flan) and it’s DELICIOUS. If you want a sweet delicious deal, this is your spot.

Apparently this was the first Latin American Bakery made? I had no issues with it at all. We got to sit outside on a great day because I had my small dog with me. In all honesty, you can’t beat this price. Not even close. I ordered the steak and eggs with café con leche. Barely over $ 7! My wife and in-laws bought something for like $ 4 each, ordered more coffee and I think we left paying less than $ 20! It’s a total steal. They could charge more but they know people go there because they aint dumb and know eggs with bread cost like $ 3 normally. If you’re around here, eat here. Save money. Eat good. Can’t go wrong.

This restaurant is divided in two. One part is the restaurant and the other is the bakery. They both have plenty of seating available for those who want to dine in. I came here for breakfast, and they have good options. They serve breakfast until 12 at regular price, and anytime after, they charge $ 2 more I believe. I had the scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, café con leche and tostada. My bf had the same. They made our food within 10 min. It was very tasty, and I left full. The bill literally came out to $ 10 and some change, that was my favorite part. Lol. Our waitress, Lorena, was very friendly and in a good mood. The people at the bakery were very nice too. Parking can be a hassle because they do not have sufficient free parking. They have meters on the side of the restaurant though. This restaurant is definetly within my budget, the food was good, and the service was nice. With that being said, I would definetly return.

I found this to be a solid, affordable, and nicely-atmosphered lunch spot. There is outdoor seating, which was great. There was also an adorable dog nearby. Two sandwiches: The Cuban and The Florida: I prefer The Florida, which is essentially The Cuban but with bacon. To be honest though I think something was missing. They tasted bland, like they needed salt and garlic. But hey man, that’s just my opinion, and I am no expert on Cuban food. Both sandwiches were in the $ 6 range and came with some buttered bread discs. I had a mamey smoothie as well, which was wonderful and worth all of the $ 3.50 it cost. If that doesn’t sound like I enjoyed this place, maybe it’s because quantity of food is more important to me than quality, and they have it. The food is big. It seems like a lot of people here get like 5 plates and only eat a third of each, which is understandable because of the sheer mass of food you will receive. In all, come perhaps more for the baked goods and patio dining than the flavor of main dishes, but come at least once if you like lots of food at low prices in nice places.

I came here for breakfast last sunday at 9 am, and it was already full! No wonder why, the breakfasts in this place are really good, you have a lot of choices(most of them come with scrambled eggs, with or without cheese, a big portion cuban bread with butter, some ham or sausage and coffee), and many delicious pastries to choose in the counter. And, is really cheap, all breakfasts were below $ 10, which is rare in Miami where normally breakfast and brunch combos are always too expensive even though the items are almost same everywhere(eggs, bread, etc). The waitresses were super nice and cheerful. Note: remember than cuban coffee comes with sugar! :) You can change the café con leche of the menu by regular or cortadito if you ask. I will come back for sure!

Great croquetas and pastries that can satisfy all of your cravings. The café is right next door to the Restaurant. The menu here is limited to breakfast items and sandwiches which makes this spot a bit more upscale than your usual bakery but not as formal as a restaurant. Croquetas are home made, which is a must in the 305 now. Nice cracker meal crust and the filling is well blended so that there are no chunks. It is a Cuban style croqueta which means that it is very meaty and has less bechamel than the Spanish variety. Very flavorful. Your Abuelita would approve! I had my croquetas as part of a croqueta preparada sandwich. It had lots of pickles, swiss cheese and ham… yum! The pastry case had the awesome fried empanadas only found in Cuban bakeries. I’m pretty sure I will break down and get one next time. I have had their party pastelitos and they were full of filling and very tasty. All in all, a very nice bakery addition to the Flagami neighborhood!

Came for family Sunday breakfast. It was pretty full and we thought that it would take long but, it didn’t at all! The waitress was very nice and was also quick. The food came out in a speedy manner and we were out of there in no less than an hour, which says a lot considering most places take forever on Sunday’s! The food was also delicious and made precisely to each of our likings! Definitely a good place to go if you want a quick Sunday breakfast!

We wanted desert. So Unilocaled this place only to find a cute Spanish diner located somewhere in a predominantly Spanish speaking neightborhood. This place had a great guava pastry for it being 11pm and such a delicious flan! Perfect for a Miami experience! Everyone was ordering a milkshake so we jumped on the bandwagon and ordered a gunabana milkshake that made my taste buds do the merengue! 6⁄10 dessert

Best Cuban sandwich in town. Also try the crema de malanga and the mariquitas. The service is very friendly and the prices reasonable.

Delicious Cuban food. Friendly environment. Counter seats and outdoor seating available. Always busy. Caldo gallego es delicioso! Cuban sandwiches, signature, with Smithfield ham, no less. Great shakes, also! The floor is not very clean in later afternoon, because it stays so busy.

I’ve only had the churasco and it’s delicious. Juicy, well oiled and very good flavor. I have been going back and forth between here and La Patagonia which also has a killer churasco. This place is just as good and saves you $ 10 if it matters. Pleasant staff. Cool place to stop into in Coral Gables.

I absolutely love this place for breakfast, I usually pass by on my way to work and pick up the full breakfast which for only $ 3.99($ 4.52 with tax) includes eggs, potatoes, bacon or ham, toast and café con leche. Once I get to work and eat this I don’t get hungry again until dinner time, I don’t even eat the potatoes because it’s just too much food. I have also had the empanadas and pan de bono, which are also good. I recommend this place for a good breakfast.

The food in this place is fresh and tasty. The dessert wow! Great selection, don’t look at the calories and have them. Best hot chocolate in town feels like you are back on Spain.

CAFECONLECHE Whenever we’re in the mood for a change of breakfast or bakery venue, we would automatically come here. It’s your Cuban version of Happy Days’ Arnolds. Besides the bargain priced breakfast that comes with an over sized serving of café con leche, the warm pastelito with a cortadito is near and dear to our hearts. The waitstaff signature red and black uniforms and cordial team service is unique whether you’re seated in the restaurant, outside on the sidewalk or in the bakery. Their extended hours are a real plus especially following a late flight.

Newly renovated and updated! The menu hasn’t changed much, but the service has greatly improved. Whether you’re in the bakery or the restaurant, expect to get some of the best pastelitos and empanadas in «la sawesera». Breakfst, lunch, or dinner, the food is always good here and mostly cooked to order. I mostly visit for breakfast or lunch and have yet to be dissapointed. My recommendation for lunch is either the cuban sandwich(el cubano regular) or the pan con bistec. Remember to tip your waitress in cash!
