Will never go back. Servers tried to give us food we did not order, and when we did not take it, they offered it to other customers. Staff are pushy. The ultimate tourist trap. One star because there were 2×1 cocktails.

HOWISTHISPLACEEVENOPEN? The guy making my banana shake used his fingers to slice the banana. licked his fingers. and then proceeded to add the strawberries with his hand… this place is dirty, and disgusting. No wonder the amount of customers has gone down the drain. now I know.

I found a wire from an scourer in my fettuccine Alfredo, you can see it on the pictures, the manager didn’t even apologize just take the cost of the fettuccine out of the bill but I still had to pay the rest of the meal, even when we couldn’t finish it since I was so disgusted, an scourer is only use to clean the greasiest and dirtiest of pots and casseroles, and I found part of it in my plate, the waitress took the plate to the manager, he was standing a couple of feet from me, but still he didn’t apologize or look my way, to top it all the bread was old and tasteless, this place lacks in professionalism and ethics, never coming back

BUYERBEWARE! This place is a scam! They try to bring you in off Ocean Dr. with«Buy one get one» happy hour special only to charge you double for the largest size drink available. Food was mediocre and over priced. No one speaks English! What is mor is we were informed prices change daily based on local holidays and events. No prices on the menu. STAYAWAY! I experienced difficulty placing my order, I asked for cheese on the sandwich I ordered — the guy there was very confused by the addition of cheese. Let me illustrate how it went down… me: «chicken mix sandwich on wheat» the guy«ok» me: «with brie cheese» the guy«what?» me: «brie» the guy: «on what?» me: «the sandwich» the guy: «which sandwich?» me: «the one I just started to order 40 seconds ago» After a minute or two, it seemed like he understood the order. I received my sandwich on the wrong bread, with a bunch of stuff I didn’t want on it and very little chicken. I said, «this sandwich is wrong… no thanks — let me pay for my coke and empanada» — they didn’t acknowledge the poorly prepared sandwich or my attempt to pay for the rest of the meal. They fumbled around, stared at each other and didn’t say a word about it. So I left… slowly… they didn’t react. They were weird.

How this place gets great ratings, I have no idea. Okay, maybe I went on the wrong night– Halloween but still no excuse. Then again, maybe I shouldve asked more questions about my order. I ordered a salami & mozzarella sandwich and my boyfriend ordered the prosciutto sandwich, both of which were on the fan favorite list– NOT! Okay my boyfriend liked his but I didn’t like mine. The limited amount of meat, such a great amount of veggies and to be honest, it wasn’t tasty. I would’ve liked my sandwich heated but I don’t even know if that’s an option. Yes, higher quality of veggies but I could’ve made that sandwich at home and made it much more tasty! We did try the salchipapas and for that reason I gave it that extra star putting it at a 2. Best curly fries I have had in a while! And the chorizo they used was pretty yummy. The service was good but the manager looked on edge and very alert. In the end we spent $ 35 on 2 sandwiches which I could’ve made, salchipapas and a beer– can you say overpriced?! I will definitely not be coming back here again.

Things I can get for $ 20($ 11 sandwich, $ 5 «smoothie,» tax, tip) –Memory card for my DSLR camera –The«The $ 20 Theory of the Universe,» book –A share of stock of Intel, Johnson & Johnson or Harley-Davidson –A purse in TJ Maxx Why, oh why, didn’t I wait to have the(very delicious) leftovers waiting for me at home? Why did I get sucked in by all the great Unilocal reviews of this place? Why didn’t I return the sandwich after having to open it to look for the prosciutto and brie that were inside? What a painful, terrible experience this was for me, to pay for something that I not only didn’t enjoy, but that was absurdly overpriced. Sure, the service was friendly, but I also waited a good 10 minutes before somebody noticed I was there. I’m not saying, «don’t eat here,» rather, I’m saying, choose wisely.

I go here all the time for a quick late night bite or a fresh healthy smoothie when I am out and about running around. They have always been consistent and friendly. I am here at least once a week. Turkey croissant and Very Nana smoothie are my quick and simple go to items. They are always open too.

La Baguette is open 24÷7÷365. We dropped in for a sandwich on an early holiday morning and they were open. La Baguette is a knock-off of La Sandwicherie, the popular Miami restaurant in South Beach and it’s new restaurant up the street. The sandwiches including the Vinaigrette is essentially the same. La Baguette open in 2009 and there has been media stories about interviewing La Sandwicherie’s owner Olivier Farrat and La Baguette owner Anselmo Hernandez. La Baguette does not have air conditioning like La Sandwicherie’s South Beach location. There is a parking lot in back and metered parking in front.

Yummy! I keep coming back for more! I have the mozzarella(fresh mozzarella) and prosciutto sandwhich with EVERYTHING except jalapeños! And as usual i take the bottle of their secret sauce(some type of vinaigrette) that they keep in large bottles and bathe my sandwich in it! I’m a sucker for self serve sauces!!! I especially like their outdoor seating!

All the other reviews explain everything I experience. So I will summarize them into 1. Try there Smoothies, ESPECIALLY the«Oui Miami» Way better than a regular Strawberry Banana. All Baguette’s Favorites, ADD everything(It’s Veggie Works). People Like the mini Pickles…(so did I). «There so cute, there so cute. mmMmm!!!» Go at 4am-5am as an afterparty, good music, good vibe to chill, and beer for $ 4!!!(After a Club or Bar, it’s worth the save). Sometimes it’s slow, sometimes it’s fast. My favorite touch of this place, On a hot day, they have like 20 fans with the water spray that cool you down. «Feels so goood.»

There are only two times in my life when I wished I had a bigger mouth. One of them is when eating at La Baguette. I’m a finicky eater, don’t care for greens(the chlorophyll factor) don’t care for tomatoes(the squishy factor) I like my sandwiches simple. Turkey, brie and onions on a toasted croissant. Croissant! Simple elegance on a toasted, buttery slice of heaven. What could possibly make this better? Dousing it with the honey mustard vinaigrette(HMV), of course. As soon as this sweet and tangy spread hits my bread I have to open wide and take the biggest bite. A small taste simply will not do. Each bite deserves a fresh dousing of HMV. It’s a desperate attempt to make it as good as the first time. And it is. La Baguette is opened 24 hours a day. They have delicious smoothies, I usually do the coffee one. Their staff is very friendly, especially the dancer whose name escapes me. While I have driven out of my way to come here(I gotta have my sauce) It’s best to hit La Baguette up after a night of dancing, drinking or whatever else you do to entertain yourself. La Baguette, je t’aime…and your sauce, oh! your sauce.

La Sandwicherie on SoBe(who they ‘stole’ the concept from) is much better. Granted, the sandwiches are good, but overpriced. The vinagrette is OK, it’s too sour and tangy. Again, if you want a great late night sandwich, try la Sandwicherie.

«You’re going to have to update your review.» That’s what my friend said after we’d bitten into our sandwiches. And as usual, he’s right. After his many failed attempts to call in an order off the number on their website, he was a little frustrated. I was able to called using my iPhone’s Unilocal app which had the correct phone number. Score 1 for the Unilocal app, Unilocal,Yelpers, and the Unilocal CM! haha some guys just don’t know. They took the order and told me it’d take 35 — 45 min. Almost, exactly 35 minutes later, the door bell rang and dinner was served. I ordered my usual, prosciutto, mozzarella on a croissant. He following in my footsteps ordered the same and added everything else. But the real test was going to be the sauce and I’m happy to report it was great. Not as amazing as I once remember but that might be some nostalgia playing tricks on my taste buds. But next time you’re home, it’s past 10pm, and you need a simple sandwich or one with the works. La Baguette has you covered.

I just ordered(and scarfed down) a sliced chicken on whole wheat sandwich from La Baguette. I called about forty five minutes ago and they told me it would be here in forty five minutes. However, it took me about twenty minutes to eat it… you do the math. It got here pretty quickly. The person that took the order was so polite I couldn’t believe I was calling a restaurant in Miami. He took my order and made no mistakes. My only complaint is that he didn’t mention there was a delivery surcharge, which there most definitely was. Maybe I should have asked. Oh, well. The sandwich was worth it(and I’m not even a sandwich person). The delivery guy was also super duper nice. He even helped me herd my puppy when she escaped after another dog in the hallway. Overall, I’m very satisfied with La Baguette’s customer service and will definitely be ordering from them again. Next time I might just try their online ordering service where I can build my own sandwich or salad! Yay!

I tried this place out this morning because I happened to be filling up the petrol at the Shell next door and I remembered reading some of the reviews of fellow Unilocalers. I was grossly disappointed. The baguette itself was dry and crumbly. He seemed to be trying to freshen up the baguettes in a toaster oven. Quite frankly I’ve had better bread at subway and I don’t like subway. Plus it wasn’t a proper baguette — baguettes are thin and long, crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. This was more like a white sub with a crusty edge. Wrong size, and shape, not moist on the inside, dry and crumbly. Plus this was at 1030am — the time when the bread should be fresh of the oven so it’s not like there’s an excuse of it being end of day and the bread was getting old. I ordered a Mozarella, Tomato and Prosciutto sandwich. I was hoping for some basil and balsamic vinegar in addition to olive oil but he didn’t have the vinegar or the basil. Overall the sandwich was disappointing. It tasted old and stale which is not how a made to order sandwich should be. Especially not for a sandwich which cost $ 9.06 including tax this is disappointing. There are many better places to get sandwiches in Brickell. The best is Perricone’s. The second best is La Provence. This place ranks below subway and publix as far as sandwich places go.

Well after five try’s I am done with this place. It is a real shame because they really had potential. Ordered delivery one night and it took one and a half hours to get here which is a five minute drive. The delivery driver kept calling me as she was lost and did not speak any English… The sandwiches are good, but there major problem is their bread. Their bread is not fresh, it is hard. Last time I sent my sandwich back because I thought I would break my teeth. My new sandwich was some what better but still the taste of the bread is stale and just not good. For me a great sandwich has to have great bread. I will not be back…

///shrugs Shoulders///It was just ok They have a lot of cool looking seats that looked comfortable for lounging but not really ideal for eating a huge sub They do have a large counter top that wraps around the place The service on both times I have been here has been subpar, not horrible but far from good The first sandwich I had was good and FILLED with toppings but I didn’t fall in love with it(the little pickles are really good) When I returned on another visit, you could tell the bread wasn’t that fresh and while I was eating, i thought to myself«I should have gone to Subway» Not a good sign

Well… I’ve only been here once, and I know it’s the La Sandwicherie of Miami(sans the Beach). For this reason, I’m rating it the same as La Sandwicherie, a good 4-stars. + Sandwiches are huge, and stuffed overzealously(like at La Sandwicherie) + 24 hours establishment, 7 days a week(Yup, longer hours than La Sandwicherie, who would have thunk?!) + Cheaper than La Sandwicherie(by a mere 50 cents — just go and compare the menu!) + Coffee? Check! Iced coffee? Well, there’s Ice Cappuccino. + Want alcohol? There’s 4 beers, an organic beer, three types of red wines, three types of white wines, and two types of champagne(bottles only) + No gratuity tips included(I came at midnight, and it was not included even though the menu said it would be) + Plenty of seating(barstools on three sides of the building, plus several lounge chairs in the back) + Free parking + Delivery between 10 am and 10 pm Well… there you go. Between La Sandwicherie and La Baguette, La Baguette pretty much gets the upper hand. It’s only the history and the reputation La Sandwicherie has built up over the years that makes the competition a formidable battle(although it’s not really competition — people in Miami simply won’t go to the Beach and deal with parking hassle and seating space to get a sandwich).
