2 stars because I know this place is good. But here’s the deal with my visit. Greeted nicely by Cashier, who placed order. Once I got the sub I sat down to eat it; it had onions when I ordered none. Asked for napkins, showed to a thin stack behind counter, some of the napkins wrinkled. Had ordered regular mustard, salt and pepper, had to ask for them because they had forgotten. Employee on break sat by window and proceeded to yell –yes, yell-, whenever a good looking woman walked by outside. Door was broken, so it slammed loud, metal against metal, every time a patron walked in or out. Not going back to this Jimmy Jones location

Funny & clever advertising make this a great alternative to subway. Good food for the price. Also the bread tastes fresh. The staff at this location is amazing & my friend visits just to say hello sometimes that’s how nice & down to earth they are. The location is very clean, and I even witnessed them clean every single part of the bread rack which is very good to know. Also the cookies are amazing there

I’m a big fan of Jimmy Johns in general but especially this location. The staff is friendly, funny and most importantly: freaky fast! I typically order inside but have gotten delivery too. I live just under a mile away but they got me my 5 sandwiches in less than 15 minutes! The ingredients are always fresh, the restaurant clean, and the sandwiches hit the spot! This is a great location of this chain and so convenient for Grovites who need a quick bite!

Definitely a super mediocre Sandwich at best. Nothing special, no frills and nothing fancy. I hope you like shredded iceberg because that is what they use! I understand lunch in the neighboring area is pricey and cannot compare to a economic $ 7.00 sub but this tastes way too bland to reorder. I though maybe when I ordered for the first time, I had just chosen the wrong type of sandwich. Now that I ordered again(I love salami so I obviously chose the Vito), it was beyond bland and tasteless. The only reason they get another star is because of how extremely fast they delivered it. It took about 15 – 20 minutes for me to get my order which is awesome but still didnt taste as I originally anticipated. If you’re in the area and need a cheap lunch, are easy to please, and a cold cut, generic white bread sandwich will do… make your way over here

I eat here at least once a week when I’m traveling to Miami. It’s a very conveniently located in the Grove, very fast service, and very friendly staff. I always get an unwich and the sandwiches are equally good without the bread. If you want fast, cheap, and convenient and you are in the mood for any kind of sandwich, then come here. My only feedback is the sandwiches could be a little bigger, but it is what it is. Maybe I’m just always hungry :)

If your hungry and time is of the essence, don’t bother calling the coconut grove location. I waited almost an hour and after several phone calls, the response was«we are short on drivers». Why take an order if u knowingly are aware u have logistics issues and not disclose at the time of ordering? Then after an hour they wanted to charge me for the sandwich. When you do call customer service, its refered back to the store and you get a recruit from McDonalds masquerading as an «area manager» named Ozzie. Based on my expieriance, it seems customers would get more professionalism and compassion from the Taliban or ISIS.

Was very happy to see this JJ’s in the Grove when I just wanted a quick bite, as Ive been to a few and like their food, choices and prices. The issue with this one was the very lackluster customer service. Of the 3 employees i «interacted» with — I use the term loosely since two of the three just looked at me with no hello and no smiles(Im pretty sure one of them was the manager, at that) — only one offered help or suggested a sandwich when it was clear I didn’t have a favorite. What i can’t understand is how in 2014 businesses still dont understand how these things determine whether customers come back or not to spend their money. I don’t blame the employees — the management is responsible for setting the standards. I like JJs, but I will not be back to this one.

Two words: veggie sub. Mmmmmm. So glad there’s a Jimmy John’s in Coconut Grove! Fast. Affordable. Delicious.
