Just had my hair done by Chris — he did such an amazing job with my ombré and hair cut. My hair looks and feel natural. I went blonde so I was afraid of damaging it — no such thing. It’s as soft and shiny as ever. The cut perfect. He did long layers and made it fun. Honestly the best hair dresser in Miami!

French salon, a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Jeff and Virginia are great and both do a wonderful job! Parking may be tight depending on the day of week.

No one knows best than Virginie! She has been my hairstylist for about 4−5yrs. She knos exactly how to frame the highlights around my face and also gives a great blonde tone, kind of ashy, which I love! As far a haicutting, I haven’t done anything crazy but I am always a happy customer. I have lo g locks and not everyone knows how to cut wavy/curly hair better than virginie. I feel very confident suggesting her to every hair type since she is so awesome! They also have parking available, for free where the SunTrust parking is! It’s perfect as parking in Brickell can be a nightmare. They also offer complimentary coffee, tea, water n perhaps a little wine depending on the season.

This review actually applies to Virginia. She’s the best one I found since I moved to the states 5 years ago.

Unprofessional, Rude, & very unpleasantness at its finest. I had the«Pleasure» of meeting the very rude owner. At first impression I loved it but as I sat down to have my hair blow dryed I felt more & more uncomfortable. The French owner had the odasity to talk obscenities about me in french while I was sitting a couple feet from her not knowing I speak and understand fluent french and talked about & laughed at every single client in there. Charged my hair stylist the coffee she had offered me! I would never recommend anyone to go here I love my stylist but I refuse to keep coming here and receive this kind of treatment for what im paying for.

I am giving this salon 5 stars b/c my favorite stylist is currently working here. Her name is Virginie, she used to work at the other Biguine in Brickell. She is the BEST, not only she is talented, but she is a very sweet and warm person. Love her! I am not currently living in Florida, but every time I go to visit my family I try to get a hair cut.

I went to this place last month and Sabrina did Tape Extensions to my hair. The process was 4 hours long(because they had to dye the hair to my color) and they charged me $ 874 for the extensions. However, when I got home I realized that the color was very different from my own color(I am takling about black and red here!). I called them and Sabrina told me to wash my hair — the color would be ok then. I washed my hair and the extensions were on the bathroom floor! I took all the extensions back to them(the salon is 5 min from my home) and they said it was the salesman’s(the person who sold them the extensions) fault and they would call me later to decide what to do… I was sooo dissappointed & angry. I went home and guess what: Nobody called me for the next 3 – 4 days… After 4 days I went to the salon again and(everybody was making faces to me) Sabrina told me they could only give me a $ 300STOREREFUND!!! WTF! I paid you guys $ 874 and you only give me a refund of $ 300 ??? I am still pissed off and I am now trying other ways to get my money back. I will write an e-mail to Jean Claude Biguine himself. Because now they have the hair back and also they took my money!!! Don’t go to this place. I live in Brickell Key and I am trying to do everything to keep my friends away from this place. The worst part was when I went to the salon for a second time, everyone was making faces! They are not professional and they will do EVERYTHING to get money and give you CHEAPEST service ever! Shame on you Biguine. Really. PS: I can show everyone my receipt and the photos. I still keep them as evidences.

I am a regular at Jean-Claude Biguine and always get my hair cut by Sacha. He knows exactly what to do to give me a new look each time. I always go in for just a hair cut but am quickly convinced to try something else. One of the last times I was there I told Sacha I didn’t have time to dry my hair in the mornings and needed a look that would work with my air being air dried each day. He sure knew what to do! He gave me tons of layers in just the right places. He suggested I put some mousse in shake it up and leave it to dry. It is almost as I had the wrong approach in the past trying to blow dry my waves out. Now I have a beachy wavy look and everyone at work comments all the time. Some people ask if I braid it at bedtime LOL. I think it is because Sacha placed the layers in just the right places to work with the natural waves I have. He knows what he is doing! I love going to him and I drive quite a bit to get there. They do allow tip on the card. I’m always unsure about the garage. The last time I went I did pay for parking and that is simply annoying. There should be an established section for the hair salon or some kind of validation.

I went to this place on the day of my engagement dinner, I wanted a blow-dry and a manicure, nothing fancy. I arrived at the place punctual, they took about 30 minutes to sit me, when I finally sat down, the manicurist started to work, while telling me all about her son who is in college… blah blah, the manicure and pedicure took 1 hour and 3o minutes. I was still feeling in a good mood, until the hairstylist started to do my hair, he was angry, complaining in french about me having too much hair, saying that the manicurist took hours, and pulling my hair!!! I remained quiet out of fear! Finally when he was finished, I said something to him in french, which surprised him, he had no idea I spoke french. No tip for him or the manicurist. And I am never going back there. If this is not enough, they have a manicure seat made of cement that its extremely uncomfortable, specially if the manicurist takes hours!

After a nearly devastating experience at Rik Rak, I patiently waited for my butchered tresses to grow enough for a new haircut to repair the damage. I pushed it off as long as possible and then finally booked an appointment with Dominic. He also cuts my husband’s hair and really knows how to get the job done. He is precious and knows exactly how to give the customer what she asks for, and slowly but surely, my hair will get back to where I want it to be. Thank you, Dominic. See you again in six weeks.

This salon is ok. I had black hair and wanted to go lighter(dark brown with blondish highlights) for the summer. I brought several photos and the result after 5 hours was nothing like what I wanted and the color was very brassy and red-orange. Dominic, the sylist, told me to come back so he can fix it(for free). I went back the following week and the salon manager wanted to charge me again since I was taking from the sylists time. Hey he screwed it up not me! The stylist and I nearly begged her not to charge me again and she gave in. it was annoying and not a pleasant experience although the fixed do was ok but requires more ashy toner to completely get rid of the orange which Im going to do at home. oh and the parking is annoying… it is in a garage which charges a flat rate of $ 6.95. The salon validates your ticket so you dont have to pay and when I went to pay, I was charged $ 6. The man did not speak any English and I called security. Turns out he was trying to pocket my money and knew very well what validation meant. Park on the street meters instead.

I have gotten my haircut many times here by John. My hairstyle is fairly boring and normal, so not sure how complicated he gets. Nice dude, nice place. Gets a 4 versus a 5 because they don’t take call aheads and because for a dude’s haircut it’s pretty expensive. If I recall it’s $ 30 I have a pass for the garage, but I believe you can park for free somehere in the building if going to the salon. You can’t put tip on a credit card, so bring cash for that.
