The best pizza I have eaten in a long time!!! Highly recommended! Dodgy location but the restaurant is beautiful inside and a gem. Outdoor seating is nice too and you can bring your own bottles of wine and they will open for you with no corkage fee!!! Staff and service were OK nothing special but not bad in anyway. Delicious! Well done

The best pizza in town, great tagliere of cheese and Salumi and the great and magic surprise of farinata. Nothing else to say just to repeat and for the new one to try

Yet another amazing meal at Ironside. This is seriously one of the best«hidden» spots in Miami. Easy to find free parking, and the staff couldn’t be nicer! Matteo the manager is always very nice, and he has seen me eat here enough times that he insisted on treating me to a glass of chilled wine with lunch. How could you not love this place! Go immediately!

Nice interior. We were really just looking for dessert. The nutella pizza was delicious, with a nice soft crust. A bit slow on the service but perhaps they meant to convey the laid-back vibes of the Mediterranean. They didn’t have tea! I know Italians are big on coffee, but it wouldn’t hurt to keep a few bags of Lipton in the back.

Authentic Italian wood fire pizza. Pizza, salads, and plate of cheese and ham are delicious! I had family diner there everyone was happy about the food and we finished with tiramisu and pana cotta! Very delicious :) the BYOB makes it even more cool! We ate a lot, but even us we are full, we feel very good, which definitely means that the food is delicious and great quality. Coming back for sure!

OK so authentic Italian pizza… mmmm I think not, I lived in ITA for a while as a youth and this place was Horrible on a number of levels. The Staff sat us(reservation for the evening time) and the Manager was nice… but the waiter was a complete jerk. My Lady had to give him the stank eye and then replied back to him in his native tongue that he needed to give us time etc etc… playing it off assuming it was busy and that well that we wanted to enjoy dinner and some wine. When the staff came back with water he still was being a dick… When the pizza arrived it was probably… hold up, it was the worst pie I have ever had in my life! Soggy and still doughy the toppings slide right off because it wasnt cooked all the way and the pizza toss was way too weak in the middle for it to be a solid pie. By the time our waiter came back we were just starring at him upset and completely put off… Sometimes it seems the«HYPE» and«Luster» of a quaint little place here in Miami that seems to have«GREAT» food is a joke. This would be one of those places. I would recomend the pizza place in the mall over this spot… although the atmosphere is very fly and alluring… SCREWTHISPLACE save your money and go eat some good pizza in Miami! Andiamo is right down the street and they don’t dissapoint.

The bruschetta is TODIEFOR! It was hands down better than the pizza. I loved the place, the concept, the ambience, the BYOB of course, and the easy menu. The pizza read good on paper and it was pleasing to the eye, but I would’ve liked the crust to be crispier. Unfortunately, the bottom crust turned soggy quickly and it was impossible to eat without fork and knife. Still, the ingredients and overall taste of the pizza was good, but I will make sure to order it extra crispy next time.

Had dinner here last night. This was the second time I’ve been here — the first was back in January. The first time, I wasn’t all too pleased but yesterday made up for it. We had: — The special: a white pizza with burrata and buffala mozzarella topped with speck, tomatoes and mushrooms — Margherita — Diavola: tomato base, mozzarella, spicy oil and salami Everything was great! The problem I had the first time I came was that the cheese to sauce ratio was far off(don’t skimp on the cheese) and the toppings were scarce. Luckily, this was corrected and neither of these were problems the second time around! I love that it’s BYOB and the ambiance is just beautiful

Where are the rest of the stars??? If you want really authentic GOOD Italian pizza, the drive is worth it! We literally ate our life in this place. Extremely good, service is great. We were l4 loud hungry humans and the treatment was on point. We had a great time and we can’t wait to go back. I ordered a special pizza and had a few ingredients more. If you are a lover of truffle ask them to bring to the table their popular appetizer(DONTEVENASK) what is it. The Nutella pizza was INSANE and let’s not even talk about the tiramisu…

Super hidden gem in the Little River district. BYOB, they’ll bring you a stand so you can chill it table side, outside, under the string lights and enjoying the lovely weather. The pizza is authentic, and good. The owner is for-real italian, just like the menu. Authentic ingredients, real food, you can’t really get much better. It’s worth the trek, and you’ll impress whoever you bring with you for finding such a little hidden spot. Also, nutella pizza for dessert so you can relive your Pizza Lunchables glory days, but with real ingredients. BYOM&Ms too.

If you’re not a regular at Ironside yet, you’re missing out. Now that the weather’s turned you need to get there, there’s lots of outdoor seating in a beautiful communal courtyard that transforms into an impromptu children’s playground/theater while you’re eating. Dog friendly, child friendly; the restaurant and staff are efficient and friendly. There is secure parking and a trendy nitrous ice cream joint for desert right next door. There’s also a quaint bar in the same courtyard, but I’ve never seen it open. Don’t forget to bring your favorite bottle of wine. They’ll cork it and serve it to you with your pizza. Bön Appetite!

You know how great a Napoleon style pizza place is going to be by the flour they use and the temperature which they cook. With that said they use Caputo flour and a wood oven. If your looking for dominos, Costco, or even New York style pizza look else where. They don’t sell alcohol but they do provide complimentary beer or you can bring your own. The vibe of the restaurant had a international feel and a great ambience. But what made my meal was the meatballs. Reminded me of being back in Italy. Don’t know if was a special or what, but if they have them get them.

Dined here this past Saturday this place is truly the definition of a «hidden gem». It’s nestled in between an ice cream shop and a café in a somewhat questionable neighborhood in Miami. Thanks to Unilocal I found this place and based on the reviews I had to try it out for myself. So here it goes… Ambiance: They have a large patio where you can sit at. It is dimly lit and is actually romantic. FYI It is also B.Y.O.B I wish I had known this before or else I would have brought a bottle of wine. Food: To start we ordered the arugula salad, which was delicious and fresh. For pizza we shared the Diavola, which was absolutely mouth watering and for dessert we got the nutella pizza equally as mouth watering and satisfying. Service: This is the only reason I am giving 4 stars and not 5. Upon entering the owner/manager greeted and was very friendly but when it came to our waitress I have to say the service was somewhat lackluster. She was missing for the majority of our meal and barely checked on us. I had to literally flag her down with my arms to get her attention to come over. Other than the service this place is a solid 4 star restaurant with the potential to be 5 stars. I will probably return to try a different authentic Italian pizza and bring a bottle of wine as well!

As always I am on my search for the latest and greatest pizza in Miami. I have heard the pizza at Ironside is spectacular, so when I was invited to dinner at here I knew I had to go and see for myself. My first impression of the place is that it is not in a good area. The neighborhood that Ironside is located in is not the best, so I was hoping the actual restaurant was nicer. I was proven correct, and the restaurant was quite nice and charming. The atmosphere was great. There were all types of people there. From couples on dates, to friends having a great evening, to families with their kids running around. It seems like Ironside is for everyone. I found my party and we were immediately given appetizers. To start out with we had plates of different types of meats and cheeses, and plates of involtini. The involtini were particularly delicious and popular with my group. Since I was in a large group we tried several different pizzas and the best, by far, was the Margherita. I am always a fan of the classic, plain Margherita, and this one was exceptional. A downside of Ironside was the service. None of us were sure exactly who was our waiter throughout the night and we had to ask multiple times for several things. We had to ask for water so many times, that we just told a waiter to leave pitchers of water so they didn’t have to keep coming back and keep leaving us thirsty. The bad did not overpower the good, and I had a great time. The food was delicious and I can’t wait to return and have the Margherita pizza again.

Not impressive! We were here last night with a couple of friends. We immediately got a table but we waited 30 minutes for get the menu and one hour to order. The service was very poor. We ordered three pizzas, that arrived after an hour, and one of the 3 had a bad taste and when we explained the problem to the server he told us than that was the flavor of broccoli as we had never eaten broccoli in our Life. When we finished to eat we were another hour with the empty plate in front of us, nobody came to clean our table for an hour. By the way we were in good company and we want just spend a good evening with our friends so we also ordered a dessert, poor choice. I won’t back again.

This was my second time visiting here, and I had the same thing I had the first time — rosemary foccacia(very good) and a margarita pizza(ok, but nothing special). When the pizza came, it had exactly 1−½ leaves of basil on it — definitely not enough to flavor a margarita pizza properly. It was decent, but I have had so much better elsewhere. We ordered a dessert, I am not exactly sure of the name — it was like a Pave — some cream in a glass dish with berry syrup topping. It was horrible. One bite and I was done with it — it didn’t taste right. We told our server, and he was very nice about giving us something else. He brought out a tiramisu that was BEAUTIFUL, and very good. It was a little strong on the espresso flavoring for my taste, but my friend, an espresso lover, LOVED it. As I said in my first review; this is a super-cool space — very nice ambiance. The service was good and our food came out quickly. Parking is easy and the food prices are reasonable.

Here we go again writing a review for Ironside Pizza. Please note this its exclusively for the service, not the food. After raving so much about how amazing this place have become, six vegans friends decided to have pizza dinner last night. I was like«you are going to loveee this place…» I spoke too fast and bit my tongue. Ouch! From the get go I told our waiter we wanted separate checks and he AGREED, saying«don’t worry, I’ll take care of that(insert Italian accent here); secondly, I told him we were all vegans and we wanted vegan cheese and NOMEAT. We actually replaced the meat with another veggie. So far, so good. Conversation flowed pleasantly, despite the extremely loud music and the 50 degree air conditioning. Once our pizzas started to arrive, we were in shock to see ham, prosciutto and other carnivorous goodies. At that point, we had our first heart attack of the night. OH, MYGOD, MATTEOOOOOO!!!(The manager). If this place proudly feature gluten free and vegan cheeses to attract the vegan community business, they must train their staff to understand what the concept is or at least to learn how to take an order right. We sent the pizzas back and waited another 20 minutes for the correct ones. My friends were giving me a strange look. … And then the check arrived… Yes, one check. Not separates ones as we asked the waiter from the get go. Second heart attack of the night. OH, MYGOD, MATTEOOOOOO!!!(The manager). Long story short. I ended up paying more, because our waiter ordered my pizza gluten free without me asking for that. At that point I had no energy to argue for $ 5. I felt totally embarrassed with my friends because I was the one recommending this place. Never again!!!

My friend Natasha knows how much I love Pizza, so when we met up for a continuation of my birthmonth celebration I happily jumped at her suggestion to come here. I’d eaten here many art walks ago and had nice memories so it didn’t take much convincing. First off, you need to do like we did and get a seat outside. You’ll check out cool art, kids playing and string lights above as well as take in sounds from this post-industrial area of Miami. The building itself has that old warehouse style, complete with it’s hidden bathroom, so the horn from the nearby train tracks adds to the vibe and experience. After you’re chilling outside, enjoying good conversation, it’s time to mangiare. Though I was tempted in hearing about their«giro de pizza», where the chef hooks you up with neverending pizza customized to your liking, we stayed small and just went for their marinara and diavola. Both of the pies were richly seasoned, and the diavola definitely had a kick to it. Throw on some red pepper flakes, I dare ya! But you must make sure to leave space for their nutella pizza. It is rich, it has powdered sugar and you will love it. Believe it or not, we couldn’t finish so our waiter was nice enough to pack the remaining meal and dessert slices to go. Go with a group of friends, and bring your vino since it is BYOB. Buon appetito!
