First time eating here and this will definitely become a regular stop for me and my son! Amazing staff. Super friendly. Very very attentive service and the food is amazing and authentic. The prices simply cannot be beat!!! My Spanish is muy poco and they still helped me with everything and even played with my son a bit making it a all around great experience!

Went in on a wim for lunch. In the neighborhood drive by. Ordered the charassco with plantains and some sort of creamy cuban tamale. Everything was terrible except the tostones, oh and the bread. That was decent as well.

Because of this restaurant’s proximity to my job, I have happened to come here many times. Their food is probably the best Cuban food I’ve ever had. It’s a very casual and affordable place. The food is always freshly made and very tasty. Everyone I know has eaten from here loves it. The Bistec Empanizado, Pechuga de Pollo a la Plancha, Rabo Encendido, Vaca Frita and Congri are my favorites. The tostones are the best in town. Much better than the bigger chains like Sergio’s and La Carreta. Try it!

I have been going here for over ten years. They have the best and cheapest breakfast if you are in the mood for Cuban breakfast. On weekends if you go before 11:00am the breakfast is $ 4 and $ 6 after 11am. That includes eggs, bacon or ham, tostada(Cuban or French bread), harina/tater tots/French fries your choice, café con leche and pancakes. their pancake syrup is my only complaint but for $ 4 and the food being good, and waitresses nice I’m not complaining about syrup. Their lunch and dinner items are good too. I go for the breakfast though. It beats paying $ 8-$ 10 a person at other breakfast places. Much better than La Carreta in my opinion.

Whether your in the mood for a tasty cuban meal for lunch or dinner or a wake up breakfast thats affordable, having guests over for a dinner or throwing a party, shower or get together the family owned & operated Intl Cafeteria run by the Elias sisters should be a place to consider. Im a fan and recommend it highly.

Oh, where to begin. I have been coming to «El Internacional» with my family for years. I always stick to three or four items, depending on what is on special. I think Saturdays are Vaca Frita, so you know I’m getting that. Delicious grilled shredded meat with mojo and onions, with two sides under $ 10?! Where else can you get a sweet deal like that? Their plantains are great, whether you’re getting some tostones or maduros. Take your pick. What about the chicharonnes the pollo, as Vanessa S. mentioned before me? Breaded and fried to perfection, these chicken strips aren’t those you get at McDonalds. No, my friend, this is the real deal. Topped with delicious onions and you’re good to go. This is also under $ 10, with two sides. I’ve also tried their masas de puerco frita, and they’re quite good. When I’ve woken up early enough to catch breakfast/brunch, I get the breakfast special: two eggs, bacon(or ham), tater-tots(that’s right, TATER-TOTS), toast(buttered Cuban bread, not some silly thin toast from IHOP) and some café con leche. All of this for about $ 4. Also, I can never go wrong with my friend, the«Miami Sandwich». Ham, turkey, bacon, swiss cheese, mayo, lettuce, and tomato, pressed to melt that cheese and get your day started right! The service is always great. No problems there. The place looks a little ‘90s, but that is not a bad thing. Unfortunately, no one I know really likes/knows how good this place is(about as good as Sergio’s), so I can only go with my family whenever they decide to go at random times. I see one of those times coming up soon, very soon!

Ok, I’m bias because this place is literally a minute from my front door… It’s a quiet hole in the wall type cafeteria, we have tons of them all over but I like this one in particular. The waitresses are nicer than the average stanky cuban meanies that can be found in these types of restaurants and the food is freshly made. My favorite are the chicharrones de pollo. Tiny little chicken morsels tossed in a garlic and onion sauce mmmmm… I eat here when I need something cheap and reliable!
