Indo-American Store

Extremely well stocked store with a host of useful and interesting products. The owner is very helpful, generous and knowledgeable about natural herbal remedies for all sorts of ailments — arthritis, migraines, diabetes, cholesterol and generally to boost the immune system. He gave me an excellent weight loss product that has helped me control my appetite and i have lost 10 pounds. This store is well worth the visit and it was a pleasure talking the owner.

We found everything we had been looking for and a few extra treats. Nice atmosphere. Owner is kind and dispenses his wisdom along with his stores. Would recommend and will return.

Owner of the store loves talking to everyone who walks in which is a positive don’t get me wrong. However, he was rude by saying that I was a lousy guy for studying for a Finance exam. Owner definitely thinks he can cure anybody that walks into the store by selling you outdated products. Be careful and read the dates on all products in the store as I found many to be past the expiration date.

I found this place by accident today (it’s fun to explore my neighborhood). I cannot believe that I didn’t know about it before. I have been searching for an Indian grocery ever since the one in the Gables closed. This grocery has everything you could possibly ever need to create a wonderful Indian feast at home. The owner was extremely nice and very helpful. This is the ideal place for vegetarians to shop… Jill, are you listening? Next weekend at my house — Tandoori Chicken, Saag Paneer, Vegetable Curry and real Naan… plus all the great chutneys and sauces. WOO HOO!

i have been coming here since i was born !!! i always feel a sense of joy coming here. its like coming home. i dont know if its uncles (the owners) warm welcome or the smell of india but going there always makes me smile. They have all kinds of spices available, sweets, and ready to eat indian foods. if you looking for all things indian this is the place to go.

Suresh and his wife are wonderful people who are more than happy to help you lead a healthier and happier life. Not only do the have great Ayurvedic products, but they freely share their knowledge with you. All they want is for their customers to be happy and healthy.

I had been searching for a store that sold Indian spices and was having a great deal of trouble locating one until I found Indo-​American Store. I knew I had found a place that would continue to receive my business, when the owner stayed and waited for us past closing time on Christmas eve and was extremely inviting once we arrived.
The store had exactly what I had been looking for and so much more. We had a conversation about fear and how the negative energy that we were holding on to was blocking our progress and creating the health challenges that my family is experiencing. I had not even mentioned my toothache but when I left an hour later my mouth had no pain.
My mother was recommended an herbal liquid for her reflux which has worked wonders and allowed her to get a full nights sleep. And, although my father was angry for having sat in the car for an hour while my mother and I made new friends with the owner and his family he too has been benefiting from the spices and herbal capsules he has been taking to lower his pressure and stabilize his blood sugar.
I was even given a print out with hand postures that my brother who is a skeptic of all things has been doing to improve his issues.
I may no longer live in Miami, but I will definitely continue to be a frequent customer even if my mother must send me the items in the mail. I highly recommend stopping in if for no other reason than to just feel good.

Just today I visited this store looking for a specific spice & gladly after searching many stores, this store had it.
They have an amazing selection of spices, seeds, teas & fresh foods. I was greeted by the owner and he was very helpful and found exactly what I was looking for. We even had a conversation about weight loss and he recommended some herbal capsules that I bought & started this evening.
at home I looked up reviews online and they seem pretty cool.
I recently discovered how great indian food is, and therefore I will be coming again to buy grocery items for chicken makhni a very yummy indian dish that I had in London, UK for the first time. This is a really nice store where you feel like you are going to a family store and the person there is your family and they help you find what you need.
