Hyatt Place Miami Airport – East

Located very close to the airport. You get plane noise outside but we didn’t notice any plane noise inside the hotel at all. There are indeed blackout curtains, apparently the other reviewer missed them or didn’t know how they worked? There’s valet parking, $ 20/​night. I doubt there is non-​valet parking. Staff is friendly, but checking in took forever. Room was clean and nice, but the bathroom door kept sticking shut, trapping the occupant and causing panic attacks. Breakfast can be a zoo when the hotel is full, but the staff did keep refilling the buffet. There were eggs, sausage, french toast, fresh fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, pastries and breads.

Very neat and clean, as well as the workers. A new environment, fun place to stay great activities scrumptious! Everything is luxurious, my type of style definitely a great place to spend for about a week or two!

Pros– the place has been renovated and the staff is friendly. Room was clean
Cons– don’t plan to get good sleep! There are no block out shades, we heard planes until 1:30 AM, windows do not block out sound and walls are thin. Lastly, the included breakfast was not worth it. They were out of mist of the food including coffee. The staff is new, so they were not well trained. Also dinner food was decent, except it was heated from frozen food

I am averaging the rating based on the food we got and the fact that it’s in the middle of nowhere besides the airport.

This rather new hotel is actually very well designed with touch of contemporary accents. It’s not your typical Hyatt place. So there is a wow factor here. I really like the way it feels. The room us smaller than that of other Hyatt place but it’s sufficient with couch. Staff is nice.
However the reason we are giving low rating is because of the food we ordered at the front restaurant. There is literally nothing within walking distance but since we were so hungry we had to order something from hotel. We got the nachos grande that cost 15 bucks. We expected at least to have toppings. what it turned out was a lot of tortilla chips with barely anything like cheese or chicken on top. They even forgot to bring the guacamole salsa and sour cream on the side until I told them so. It tastes like something you put together from cheap store. I have to say it’s sorely disappointing and even taco bells wayyyyyyyyyyyy better. So if you are hungry please do yourself w favor and take a cab to doral or Miami beach

This place is superb. I stayed here the second night after they opened. While they had the sort of problems you’d expect with their speed and computers, the staff were delightful. Free beers (!!!) Were being given out, partly as a thank you for the wait at check in.
The rooms are very comfortable, beds, showers, TV all seem top notch. Again, the staff were very friendly and helpful to all guests I saw them serve.
Downside is that you can hear airport noise, but given the upside were many, I’d definitely stay again.
