Hurricane Grill & Wings

I frequent this Hurricanes a lot with family and friends. We’ve always had a great experience with both the food and the service which is why we keep coming back. On two occasions, we have had the pleasure of being served by Carlos. He is a very well mannered individual who is extremely attentive. The first time we met him was actually on St. Patrick’s day when you can imagine they were swamped. Even through all that, he was super cool and attended us like if we were the only ones dinning there that evening. He is a great asset to your team. A little tip on the wings — ask for the sauce in the side. They tend to not have enough sauce if you ask them to toss the wings with the sauce for you. They are always happy to give you the sauce on the side. Also the firecracker shrimp are delicious! As with any fries you take out, they tend to get soggy in the styrofoam containers so it’s a perfect opportunity to try their garlic parm fries which tend to be on the saucy side since they are tossed in the garlic parm sauce. I’ve had the blackened mahi sandwich as well and enjoyed it very much. Thank you to the rest of the team we have also come in contact with. :)

By far my favorite restaurant in West Kendall! Going to hurricane is like going on a temporary vacation. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is super laid-​back and relaxed, and the service is great! Great prices too!
Only one time did I have bad service. Wife and I went for a football game. We had a coupon for BOGO (by twenty, get twenty free, something like that). We put in the order but tell the waitress to bring out 20 at a time so it lasts the game, By the end of the game, we asked for the last 20 to go since we were full. She informs us AFTER bring us the wings that she could not apply the coupon since we were taking the wings to go. Coupon was valid for dine-​in only. She should have informed us of this before she brought the wings. In addition, we had ordered the wings a while ago but were saving the rest. We’ve avoided that waitress every time we go. Always has an upset look on her face. The manager is so good though, if we had brought it to his attention, he likely would have given us the discount, but the wife and I don’t like to be a bother.

I came here for the first time not too long ago, to dine in. Over all good experience. Food was as expected, pretty good. I personally liked it. Would order again. Service is great, they’re fast.
The only reason why I’m giving it two stars is because there were flies everywhere and they were landing in my food which is pretty disgusting considering how dirty flies are. They land in poop and carry it on their legs for miles… It was pretty annoying to be swatting them every 20 seconds. Will edit my review once this problem is resolved. I would love to dine in again but not as long as it’s filled with flies.

Place is super clean and nice and so are the servers. As mentioned in another review, Melissa was very helpful and generous and made sure my order came out the way I wanted it to! Superb hostess.
The only bad things I do have to say are whenever I order to-​go the wings are sort of dry especially with the buffalo sauce. And the fries are also always soggy. edible but not amazing :/​last thing: I think the prices are a little bit over the top for quality of food and not being able to have 3 different flavors with 15 wings is a huge bummer

The staff Is fiendly, Melissa was very helpful when I was placing my to go order. She ensured that the order was correct when they brought it up to the front. The place is nicely decorated. The food could be better, the wings were dry and had very little sauce on them. The rest of the order was good. We will try eating inside next time and see if the wings are better.

I always enjoyed coming to Hurricane Cane Grill, like what’s not to like? They have good deals, the food is great, and staff is amazing and friendly. I went with my boyfriend and a friend of mine the other day and they were happy with what they got. Honestly I wasn’t crazy about my Mahi Tacos, I don’t know why, I really wanted to like them, but that didn’t bum me out by having a great time here!

This place is awesome along with the staff and owner. We have waiting for years for a local place to go have food and drinks. The food is off the chart and the finishing touch is the Caramel Cheesecake. Give it a try and youll keep coming back.

So we came in as a group and asked if we could sit inside… When we went inside we were stopped by the manager who asked us what we were doing here. And we answered: we came for drinks. He then told us to go back outside. The staff was rude at first and we felt like we weren’t wanted there. The drinks were good though.

Great service food is even better. Very family friendly lots of tv’s to watch sports also great for happy hour amazing specials. If your at the bar ask for Amy she’s a awesome bartender

I don’t even feel like writing a review. The place is not much clean. The service is too slow and the food was tasteless. Our family ordered around 5 dishes, all of them had no proper flavor, completely bland in taste. The only thing okay was lemon pepper wings, other flavors were not worth it at all. Hated the place. Not value for money. They name it as a wings place and cant even make good wings :(

I love the wings here! This is my go to place for fight nights, I love the different sauces they have! The service here is really good, and pick ups are super quick! I recommend!

Just turning a year old and a great hideaway in West Kendall, just N of the Hammocks and a block away from buzy N Kendall Drive, enough not to hear the traffic noise even when sitting at the Bar outside.
Nice, clean, great atmosphere, friendly owners with great specials and happy hrs to keep their customers coming back for more and more.
Burgers, Wings, Sea Food all cooked perfectly and for reasonable prices. We patiently waited for the place to open and have been customers there now since Day One. We try not to miss Monday’s .75 cents wings, and normally pay another visit a couple more times a week.
Great place for the entire Family !!

They should note that they close for food early.
Arrived only to hear they were «no longer serving food».

Bran new place in kendall with an amazing staff, I got to see a game of basketball here, fast service and friendly

I just moved to west Kendall and I was looking for a place with a great menu and friendly service. I have found this and more at Hurricane Grill and Wings.
The lettuce wraps are my favorite thing to order. I have tried several of the other menu items and everything has been delicious. The lunch specials are great also!
What I love the most is the service we always receive. The wait staff remembers us and are always happy to wait on us. The manager checks on us every time and takes great care of us.

Went today to try the endless wings deal.
$ 15 included endless wings and a side.
Husband ordered the deal, and thought the wings were just «ok». He had over 6 different flavors and didn’t love any of them, which is unusual, given he usually really enjoys wings. I personally tried two, and didn’t like them, wings were really «fatty», for my taste.
I thought the kids menu options were wonderful. Ordered grilled chicken and broccoli for toddler, and she loved her meal. Both daughter and her two friends (all three are 4 years old, stayed a bit hungry, so maybe a few more chicken pieces?)
Burger sliders were also great, really enjoyed them.
I really like the décor and overall feel of the restaurant. Service was excellent, young guy, I believe he was Puerto Rican (didn’t catch his name). And older gentleman also checked on our table (manager or owner, not sure). Again, service was top notch.
Not sure that we will returning for wings, but cool place to watch sports and have a bite to eat.

All you can eat wings? Send an order with buffalo sauce please!
I was hesitant when a friend invited me over today because my last experiences at their other location left a sour taste in my mouth. Nevertheless I decided to join her for early dinner.
Ended up ordering the endless wings with medium buffalo sauce (perfect amount of spicy without it being overpowering) side of ranch and kettle chips. My son had the grilled chicken strips with broccoli and apple juice. He devoured his entire meal and stayed hungry so I’d suggest giving more protein or an extra side. I was pleasantly surprised with my wings and ate two orders by myself. Really enjoyed the buffalo sauce, so much so that I barely used ranch (I normally do). The kettle chips were yummy.
Kids eat free on Tuesdays and they have a clown come by at night to make balloons.
Our server was very attentive and the manager even came by our table more than once to check on us. Very pleased with service here.
This location is a world of difference from the Bird Road one. It is very clean and I loved the décor, kinda made me feel like I was in Key West with their beach feel and bright colored chairs.
Will definitely return for more!

I have eaten here twice & both times I had good food & a friendly server. The wings & sauces are def the star of the show but the pulled pork sliders & parmesan fries are also excellent. The cheesecake dessert was fantastic!
The atmosphere itself is extremely laid back. It feels like a place right next to the beach. I don’t know how to describe it any better than it just gives you a relaxed vibe. I really like its open feel. The inside shares a bar with the outside so you get to really enjoy the surroundings.
Both times I ate there I noticed management walking around making sure everything was up to par which is a solid way to show you care about your customers experience. Prices are a bit higher than average on some items but overall it’s not too bad. I think the one thing that stood out from my first visit was the pulled pork quesadilla. It seemed quite small for the cost. They have quite a few beers on tap & enough tv’s to stay entertained if you just want to stop in for a cold brew after a long day.
The Good: Food, Service, Management, Cleanliness, Beer Selection
The Bad: Some cost to portion ratios seem off.
It’s a bit tough to locate as it’s in the far back of a strip mall.
Would I go for a third time? Yes.

This was my first time going to a Hurricanes because we don’t have this franchise in Vegas. I would describe it as a sports bar mixed in with a little Margaritaville! The décor and the music is really beachy and fun.
We started with a small order of wings for the table. When I tasted them I was impressed because the only wings I usually like is KFC’S hot wings and this local place back in Vegas called Northside Nathans. I tried Hurricanes wings with their coconut habanero sauce and I was in foodie heaven. There are so many more sauces to choose from but that one caught my eye. I liked the wings even more than my shrimp tacos which isn’t easy because I love shrimp more than chicken but this wasn’t the case this time. I also tried a side of the Carribean rice which was delicious it was yellow rice with black beans with little pineapple tidbits. When you come here I wouldn’t leave without ordering some wings!

I was looking for something new to try on a Friday. Looked up local places on Unilocal came across Hurricane grill.
It is in a relatively new shopping plaza with plenty of parking available. The ambiance is super chill and low key. I appreciate this kind of atmosphere after working a long week. The décor is inviting and has an island feel to it.
So for the food. The choice of wing sauce and seasoning is a bit overwhelming. We decided on the teriyaki since it is not spicy. Great choice, they were delicious. I had the fish tacos. The fish was well seasoned and the condiments were just right. The side of guacamole is $.99 extra and well worth it. We also ordered the Yuengling beer battered fish. Besides the fact that it is my favorite beer, it was good. There are a lot of choices of side dishes as well. I really enjoyed the Parmesan garlic fries.
The kids menu is your basic kids menu. Burgers, Mac n cheese, and chicken fingers. If your kids are like mine they usually end up ordering from the adults menu. Portions are shareable.
The only negative is that since there is an outside area/​bar that leads to the restaurant I did notice quite a few flies. Not sure if it’s always the case or was it just the weather but I’d like them to control the fly situation.
