Hairdoctors Specialty Salons – Tamiami

Do not come here. The women who work here are super rude, screaming at the top of their lungs, gossiping about other workers and clients right in front of me, and the woman who was doing my nails was in a rush and had a really nasty attitude. My nails were crooked and the polish was not smooth. It is safe to say I will never go back to this place again and I highly discourage anyone from coming here. Quality and professionalism at it’s lowest.

DO NOT come here! I’m a writing this review as I sit here because the level of unprofessionalism is through the roof. I made an appointment for today at 2:00 pm last week for NYE. I walk in and the stylist at the register with an attitude «how can I help you?» I said that I was here for a hair appointment at 2:00 pm. I’m not sure what she heard because she immediately gave me the biggest attitude and said «don’t you see we’re busy? Do YOU think a stylist is going to be sitting here waiting for you?!» …I was and am completely shocked. I said «I’m sorry I said I’m here for an appointment… do you not work like this?» And she said «why don’t you calm down we’re gonna attend you!» That’s when I told her she was a complete unprofessional. Apparently that didn’t sit well with her and then she reluctantly gave me to a stylist who wasn’t busy. This is the most ghetto place in the world. I’m not sure why she spoke to me like she was in Cuba but it was appalling. Save your money, don’t go here and don’t even bother making an appointment with these brainless idiots.

I was a walk in because I live in the area. Miriam helped me figure out what I wanted to do and what would be best for my hair. we decided on balayage and she booked me for the following day. i have to say my hair came out better than I expected! gracias Miriam!

I am thrilled with the services of Yusdana at the Allapatah location from the Keratin Treatment to the low lights she does for me. I’m been going to her for the last 9 months and have been happy with every service I’ve asked of her. The prices are so reasonable I can go often!

I have been coming to this place quite a lot time. Everytime I come to do my hair the service is good. The prices are good. The lady that does my hair is excellent. I get compliments from everyone telling how beautiful is the color. Marta she helps you find the perfect color. You tell her your hair is dry she will help with alm sources of treatment. Their products are good. Is a very friendly environment. They even serve on a few occassions cuban café.

Came here as a last resort because the barbershop was closed and my son looked like he was playing the part of wolverine. Anyways, the lady did a pretty good job considering she didn’t do much kids haircuts. I didn’t give it five stars because she did leave some minor imperfections and I’m a perfectionist to the t but other than that she did a good job. :)

Dont deserve a star. came for a haircut and was not happy with the results. I wanted layers and a vshape, idk what she did but my hair in front cut short n the back like she never touched it. Even though is cheap not worth it

Ok so I was looking for a place to do a loose perm (not many stylist do it) and came across this salon online. When I called to make an appointment, some hispanic lady answered and when I told her what I wanted, she had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. After explaining and switching from person to person I finally get someone who knows what I am talking about. A couple of days later I almost canceled my appointment because I thought I was going to some supercut type salon. Was I wrong! I was instantly greeted by a very nice woman named Vivian, who is the manager, and she explained to me that sometimes perm is not the best thing to do, so she told me to try cutting my hair and style it in a certain way and see if the style stays or flattens out. So I did and I did my hair with Diana, who is amazing! She cut my hair and styled it fabulous! At check out Vivian gave me her card so I can call her and give her an update on my hair to see whether or not I need the perm. I highly recommend this place! Trust me you won’t regret it!
