I highly recommend Jorge as a barber.
For a guy who has short hair & doesn’t want to spend $ 25 – 35 every couple of weeks — It’s hard to find a good barber that actually knows how to use scissors!
I’ve been to at least 5 different barber shops in the area through the years, & all the barbers are married to the damn trimmer machine and are never able to blend the top with the sides.
I highly recommend Jorge. He listens to what you want and takes his time and does it right!

Horrible Hair cuts. The more questions that they ask, the less they are good at cutting hair. I’ve had streaks of horrible barbers here. I’ve even been cut with the shaving knifes that they have. In my most recent visit, one of the barbers cut my sideburns all the way through since he wouldn’t give me the option of leaving them. When I demanded to leave the sideburns he told me that he couldn’t because the hairstyle required for no side burns. To say the most… My father could do so much better at cutting my hair than this barber and I don’t even have to pay him. I’ll keep this in mind next time I need a haircut since the barber also gave me an uneven fade. And to anyone who wants to be a barber: Please don’t let the shaving machines over heat… You should be expert in at least that. From my experience with different barbers I’ve learned that good barbers don’t use the machines that much, they use scissors and shaving knife as much as possible.

My current barber was out of town and i went here for its close proximity to FIU. Upon immediately walkjng in you could tell this is a cuban styl barbershop, nevertheless Michael attended me and boy can he cut hair. This guy is definately the top barbers in Miami. I was lucky and he didnt have anyone waiting when i went but when i visited him a second time he had 4 clients waiting to get a hair cut with him!!! He told me to come back at 4 that he would save me a spot. I suggest and reccomend him 100% for all types of haircuts especially fades or modefn cuts just call ahead or you might get lucky and hes free right away. Oh yea, he hardly speaks english but he understands and can keep up a convo! Cool guy. 5 stars!
