Aweful service, prices on line are cheaper. Takes forever and a day to checkout, even with only one person ahead of you in line.

I’ve had nothing but great experiences at this Gymboree. Probably because I avoid it during the weekend when it tends to be packed. My one big complaint is the line situation, which some of the other reviews have mentioned. I think most things in this store are overpriced, and the soft cotton t shirts and shorts(play clothes) are horrible in quality. The great thing is there are sales and 20% coupons if you sign up for their emails. Those two things make for crazy bargains several times a year. Most of their dressy clothes is of great quality– holds its shape and color even after several washes.

I usually go this store and leave because I feels too cluttered and crowded. There seems to be so many clothes all over the place. Not to say that it isn’t neat, however i just feel like the wall of clothes is closing in on me. Today, they had 40% off the entire store. I found my son a nice shirt and the matching pair of shoes that went with it. The line was long due to the fact that it is the weekend before christmas. As far as I can tell, there are 4 registers there, yet only 2 cashiers during such a busy time of the year. I did go fairly early in the day, so maybe that is why. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The few that I had contact with were very nice and helpful. I would only go back when there is a good sale like the one today.

Love the clothes and it is a bit expensive. However, customer service is horrible. The other day my grandmother wanted me to buy a shirt for my baby cousin and gave me cash to pay for it. I made the long line, but when it was my turn the first cashier(the one I was supposed to go to) told me she did not accept cash and that I had to wait for the other cashier. There were two people in front of me with that second cashier. The first lady took forever, because apparently she was $ 4 short and was waiting for some other family member to pay. Plus, that cashier was slow as a snail. And when finally there was only one person in front of me, one of the employees has the nerve and starts telling me I am not supposed to be standing behind the lady that is paying because the line is over there. I was waiting for about 30 minutes and she was telling me to make the line again. And in the end that first cashier comes back and tells me she does accept cash. I was very mad. As stated before, WORST customer service ever. They don’t know how to treat customers right. Made me waste my time.

This store gets a 1 star for the cute merchandise and the quality of the clothing. HOWEVER– I agree with other reviews on here that have mentioned that the line takes forever and a day to go through. The set up of this store is just horrendous. As soon as you walk in, there is cute merchandise and right in the MIDDLE of the store it is the cash register… there is no organization as to where you are supposed to stand in line, except one belt that is guarding one side of the register where on both sides it says where the line starts. There were only 2 people in front of me, and they took about 20 minutes or more ringing up each person. Once there was only 1 person in front of me, and 1 person paying… or what I thought she was paying the customer said«oh can you please check the prices of these items?»… another 20 minutes went by and I put my items down and decided to walk out… but of course my daughter wanted one little cute romper and wouldn’t leave without it. As I go back into the line another 2 persons are in front of me again… and since I was behind a couple for 30minutes earlier, I asked the nasty short fat disgusting woman wearing tight clothes in front of me if I could please go back to the space behind the man because I was standing there for so long and my little girl didn’t want to leave without her romper and the woman who was not with any children but with another woman responded in a nasty way«You left the line, no». So I said to her«please, I was standing here for half an hour before you got here, and my daughter is starting to act up»… then the other woman who obviously had more class than the nasty fat one told her to let me go ahead to pay. So I said«thank you very much, I really appreciate it. These lines are taking forever, I don’t know what the cashier is doing there, thanks again» and the nasty woman responded in an passive aggressive attitude«youre’ welcome». So finally 10 minutes later, I get to the register, and the flat affect woman at the register starts asking me if I have the discount card, and I don’t know what else she asked me… which was a waste of time, I had to say«no, I want to pay and go» twice. I don’t understand the reasoning behind not having enough staff for weekends when it is a weekend and it is busy. Definitely will do gymboree shopping online. This is a store where I do not want to shop at. I hope this changes as this is an unpleasant place to shop.

One of my new fave stores great sales So this has become one of my new favorite stores to shop at… LOL!!! having a grandbaby on the way makes me walk in here every chance I get. They have tons of awesome and adorable«little» clothes and their sales are outstanding. I’ll be visiting their locations more and more often as the days, weeks, months and years go by… and also the girls at the Dadeland location are very nice, attentive and friendly. Can’t wait to go back
