Genius Jones

I Love this store, they have unique items, books and toys. The only thing i dislike about coming to the store is the girl that works there. she is so arrogant and doesnt make you feel comfortable about asking questions because the way she replies to you, just not warm or welcoming. in the other hand, I think he is the owner, is super nice and welcoming. they should hire people that fits in the concept, cool and nice!

Genius Jones is one of our favorite boutiques for any hip cool and different items for our son. We purchased our Bugaboo chameleon and both peg perego car seats with them and both times the owner a very tall man (can’t remember his name) helped us and the staff and him are so knowledgeable and helpful even assembled our stroller and installed our car seat. They dont mark up their prices like Liapella and know exactly what they are selling.

Ordered a light fixture for our toddler’s playroom in early February, they charged me right away yet have not responded to my requests via email or phone seeking an update for nearly 3 months. I still have no light. The store may be nice but their customer service is horrible.

My review is appallingly belated, I pass through the store almost weekly. Dad actually made me hip to Genius Jones before our baby ever came along. He’d bought a few gifts for friends and knew I’d dig it.
There is a bright, comfortable sort of inviting vibe about the space and consistent with that is the always warm and friendly way of Drean (sp) and other staff. Baby is a fan of all of the Rowdy Sprout tees and tanks and many of the fantastic pieces in the store. The space itself is large and airy and colorful.
There’s something nice about getting off the Beach and away from the lame monotony of that scene and hanging over in Wynwood. If you and your little person happen to be on your way to get your Zumbini on with Ashlee, Genius Jones shares space. Stop on in!

Love this store… If your looking for high end baby furniture & strollers etc… This place cannot be beat… Great products, friendly service, super knowledgable and overall great store.

This store is awesome!!! We just moved to miami from NYC and were in search of a place to get well-​curated, eco-​friendly toys and supplies for our new baby girl. The staff is always super helpful and friendly — I am surprised by the negative reviews because I have had nothing but excellent customer service here. I wish I had found them when we were in the process of outfitting our nursery!

This is a fantastic designer children’s store! There’s an array of interesting clothing, toys, educational games/​toys and gear that you definitely won’t find at Toys’R’Us.
One of the things I like the most about Genius Jones is that everything is smart. Either smartly designed or intended to improve a little one’s brain power. My other half used to cross-​country race mountain bikes. He’s always admiring the tires, gears and craftsmanship of the strollers, bikes and stroller-​bikes (yes, there’s a great one there). He calls the Bugaboo the Transformers stroller!
The owner (I believe his name is David) and staff are friendly and helpful. He’s a former photographer and a father, thus the great selection. I don’t go in here much (yet, see below) but whenever it’s a little one’s birthday we always get a great one of a kind gift here.
Being that my significant other and I are expecting our first child in a few short weeks, we did register at Genius Jones. I’m really hoping a generous friend or relative gets us the HiLo Chair, but at $ 300 that may have to be something we splurge on ourselves. I have a feeling that whenever we want to spoil ourselves and our daughter we’ll be heading to Genius Jones.
