I love «La vaquita». I recommend getting their freshly made cheese bread, or the cheese/​guava. We buy it, whenever we are having family breakfast, always a hit.
Things are a bit overpriced here (you pay for the convenience, obviously), but this place has been a life saver, on days/​nights when I’ve been in car, child is asleep, and I need to make a quick purchase before getting home.
I will add. When I was a teen, I almost got arrested, because i walked into the store. I thought you could also get off and pick out stuff — not the case.lol. You kind of have to go specifically for item, not to shop around.

La Vacita! Us Cubans love this place… we call it La Vacita (the small cow). It’s quick, cheap, no one speaks english here, and the best part… you don’t have to look for parking! I’ve shared many mornings with them here, ordering my freshly made and scolding hot french baquettes for breakfast. This place has truly come to my rescue many times, whether i need a gallon of milk or need to buy one roll of toilet paper. It’s just so great because i just jump in my car in my PJs and not have to worry about getting off the car to buy just one or two things i so desperately need… i honestly don’t know where i would be without my Vacita :)
