I’ve been here three times already and each time was worse than the other. Had my eyebrows, upper lip and a Brazilian wax done, but each time the service was inconsistent. What’s the point of going to a place and spending a good amount of money if you’re still going to have small patches of untouched hair? The girls are only interested in selling the products and booking your next appointment. Stay away unless you want to tweeze at home.

I waited a while to post a review in order to have a full experience. In theory, a franchise like this would seem like a no brainer. The problem is that franchises seldom are able to sustain consistent service. Which is ironic given that’s part of why franchisees pay their franchise fee. So here’s the deal. I’ve been going to the midtown location since December. I’ve been waxing for 25 years, this is not my first rodeo, I know a good wax and standards for a good salon. In as far as technique most of the aestheticians were ok. Best ones were Yelena(sp?), Camilla, and Julietta. And now they don’t work there. I don’t know if it’s the low pay structure or the fact that they have to pay parking to work there or what other work dynamics exist that they can’t seem to keep their employee turnover down. What’s this mean to you? Inconsistent service and having to see a different person every other time. Now if you’re cool with this, no big deal. If you like to build a relationship with your aesthetician so that they know your skin and how it reacts to waxing, it’s a pain bc you have to keep training someone over and over. They keep the place air conditioned like its a meat locker. I guess their wax doesn’t do well in normal temperatures first I’ve heard of this but whatever the case is just wear a warm top it’s always freezing in there. Prices are reasonable for Miami. They probably pay an arm and a leg in rent and in franchise fees so it’s reasonable. But probably more than going to a non franchise salon. The nice thing about the place is that it’s fairly new so it feels clean and not run down. Also another issue in Miami, businesses don’t keep up their places and they always seem dirty. This location still has its«I’m new!» Gleam. My biggest complaints about the place and why I won’t return is they can’t keep their employees and their communication is not awesome. I had three problems with appointments. One time they didn’t have me scheduled at all, luckily the front desk was able to accommodate me which is how I met Yelena. A second time the aesthetician didn’t show up to work so I had to move my day around to come back. The third time and the needle that broke the camel’s back was that Julietta also quit and they supposedly called me to tell me but I didn’t get to find this out until Id been sitting there for five minutes. Ok first off, you should have brought it up the minute I walked in, second, do you really think busy people sit around waiting for your call or even have time to check messages? «Your phone doesn’t take messages» was the girl’s response. So… keep calling… You have my email, and my cell so you can text after all, that’s why I signed up for notifications. Lastly the two girls behind the desk were snots about it. Seeing as I was going into surgery the next day and it was 7:10 pm by the time I realized I was out luck and patience I had had enough. Never again with this place. Uni-k wax in Brickell accommodated me in 15 minutes and as much as I despise driving into Brickell, I’d rather go there than this place. Another thing I thought as non-consumer friendly. You can’t actually talk to each locale. They funnel you into a call center when you call them. Great for scheduling(for the business that is) bad for when you want to know about the aestheticians experience and ratings. I don’t know about you but when someone is applying hot wax to your nether regions wouldn’t you like to know how long they’ve been doing it and how long they’ve been using European Wax Center’s wax? Net net, okay prices, and clean. You will have a hard time keeping the same aesthetician. I’d recommend it if you literally live next door. Since in my experience, they will be bumping your appointments often, based on the fact that 50% of my appointments had problems.

The ONLY place in town open on Sundays. GODSEND. I recently found myself in an emergency wax situation, so I know. You can conveniently make appointments online, they are always on time, they are clean, friendly, efficient, and the prices are less than salons and spas.

This is a fairly new facility. I decided to try it out and booked a full bikini service. I was assigned to be serviced by Yelena, and have been her client ever since. She is very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I have always been cautious about waxing, cause I would always get ingrown hair. Yelena has recommended a shower gel, that actually slows down the hair grow process and controls ingrowns. I am very satisfied with the services, and if you are out there shopping for a new waxing spot, I would highly recommend booking a service with Yelena.

I feel like I was scammed. I paid $ 200 for some facial products and was given a gift certificate to come back for a special facial free of charge. When I turned up with the gift certificate later that day they refused to honor it unless I paid $ 600 for some extra product! Thinking of going back for a refund. Scammers.

Great location on the west side of the Target there at Midtown Mall. I got a brazilian with Julieta and she was awesome. Very friendly and knowledgable, also professional. Facilities were clean, I’d definitely go back.

Was so excited about this new location because it’s right in my work area… but that quickly changed after my visits there. The two experiences I had there made me go back to a different location. Note that I travel 30 minutes(one-way) out of my way to the other location. The people were rude and during one visit didn’t honor my appointment because a walk-in was waiting at the door when they opened the shop. Um hello… what’s the point of an appointment?
