Not sure if we ordered the wrong item But definitely over rated… juice was good but food was mediocre. I would go back but only if i stayed near there.

Cheap authentic food ! The customer service can be hit or miss, and the servers don’t know English.

The food is good but the service is bad. If you don’t speak Spanish, wait for about 15 – 20 minutes for your turn to order after they serve all the Spanish speaking people. The juices are good but kind of expensive.

Customer service here is very bad. It’s as if they are doing me a favor by getting me the food I ordered. Portions are huge, but lacking in taste. There are better locations. Parking is always an issue and being next to a busy street makes it tricky to go there and not get into a car accident.

Came here with the family solely based on the reviews on Unilocal. The food is nowhere near as good as the reviewers make it seem. I am starting to think the reviews are fake. Avoid this place at all costs.

Definitely 5 stars for the fresh juices, fresh coconut and chichàrrones. The cubano and sandwiches were okay. They definitely do not speak much English but everyone is friendly and we were able to get our orders. I am salivating just thinking about the mango and guava juices I tried. The chichàrrones were just fattening and everything that is so bad but so good.

I visited El Palacio de los Jugos with two of my Cuban friends who were thrilled to introduce me to a Miami landmark during my visit. We were all very dissapointed with the treatment we received and the bad service. I walked in and saw the baskets full of fruit, I was ecstatic to see the mamey fruit and quickly went to find one that was ready to eat. I picked one up and then my friend directed me to the area of the store where they have prepared food. He wanted me to pick a traditional Cuban dish. As we walked towards the hot dishes, one of the cashiers behind the counter saw me walking with the fruit in my hand and briskly asked that I leave it behind. Even though the food was not far from the fruit area, her attitude made me feel as if she though I would walk out of the store without paying for the product. Even when I told her I was just going to pick a dish, she didn’t budge and asked that I give her the mamey. I could’ve overlooked that incident if at least she had been good when it was time for her to do her actual job. When we came to the counter to pay, my friends and I were ignored for some time, even though three staff members where behind the counter. When she finaly decided to take our money, she didn’t smile or even asked if we had found what we needed. A friend asked for a particlar type of juice and she coldly answered –«We don’t make that» intead of saying it nicely and giving her an alternative. My friend opted to get a carrot juice intead but she said it had been watered down didn’t even taste fresh. The whole transaction was subpar for a place that seems to have so much potential. I hope the owner pays attention to these reviews and considers offering a workshop of costumer service to the staff. I’d like to visit this place again, but the experince was too unpleasant. Luckily there are other great business in Miami I can go to when I get a craving for Cuban food.

Lots of breakfast, lunch and dinner options. We went in the morning so settled for some scrambled eggs which came with some Cuban bread toast, French fries, Ham and bacon. My sister ordered a egg, ham and Swiss cheese sandwich. Food tasted great and freshly made. Wait time for food can be a little long but definitely recommend for some good authentic Latin American food and affordable. Coffee is very good as well but a little on the sweet side.

When you step out of your comfort zone and take risks, you can be very well rewarded. The location of this restaurant isn’t entirely desirable and seems to require putting your guard up. Further, the employees do not speak or attempt to speak a word of English but I managed to get by nonetheless and the food was nothing short of spectacular. The steak and miami sandwiches were flavorful and filling. The papaya juice was absolutely remarkable. I would certainly return and attempt to brush up on my Spanish before the next time around.

The place was so packed that you could tell the food had to be fresh because they are constantly replacing it. I recommend this for someone who is just looking to pick up a fast lunch. No AC where the few tables are and most people on their lunch that manage to get a table proceed to sit way after they finish eating not allowing anyone else a turn. Overall the food is great and very well priced. Also recommend sharing because the portions are gargantuan, can be split between 3 people easily.

The Houstonian in Miami is back. When they say Miami isn’t part of the U.S., sometimes they’re right. El Palacio de los Jugos(the palace of juice) was recommended by a friend and how could I say no to a place with such a great name. This is a casual spot where you can get a lot of good food for cheap. Food is already made so you just pick what you want and there you go. As you would expect, they have a variety of fresh juices and I went with the papaya juice. Make sure you understand some Spanish as I was the only white person there so I had to bring out my high school Spanish to save the day. Had to get a Cuban sandwich in Miami so went with that along with maduros(sweet plantains) and tostones(salty fried plantains). The sides were fantastic and the Cuban sandwich was good, not great. Had enough leftovers for breakfast on my drive to Key West.

Love Palacio! Good food good prices. The main issue for this gringo is that everything is solo en espanol. The other issue I have is that you have to buy from different areas making multiple purchases. Why can’t I ordered my juice from the counter I get my food from.

El Palacios de la Jugos 7÷8÷15 — 2038NW ave 27th ave Miami, Fla, 33142 — My review is for this location only /for much better experience try location on Tamiami Trail near Miccosukee Casino or west 49⁄103rd ave Hialeah. — this restaurant is located on 27th ave & Miami River — this is in da hood, that I happily lived in many decades ago. decent parking room, décor cafeteria style, seating outdoors front or rear. Wanted some old fashion Cuban Arroz con Pollo(gringo translation Yellow Rice & Chicken) at about 3pm in the afternoon many items looked like they had been pre-made in the morning & sitting for hours under heat lamps in the humid hot summer day. I asked for chicken & rice in my best Spanglish, & was directed to one of the three scattered hot food display cases. The staff was plenty & very friendly. The problem was this dish was oddly to wet, the yellow rice had a porridge consistency & stringy small pieces of chicken, with fat & bones. NO Bueno– I tried to eat but weird taste & mouth feel. The Tostones okish, no diet Jupinia available. At $ 6.00 plus tip, this weird dish was NO bargain. At other Palacios de Jugo locations, better food & quality control NOTE — this area, zip 33142, according to a report from WPLG Ch10 on 5÷11÷15 this area Is Dade county #1 cluster of residential sexual offenders & predators = 148 total FDLE records show. Many live in a trailer park that is located near by. Rating 1

What’s not to love about El Palacios? It is what it is: cheap, authentic, and quick. The spot to come in and grab the Miami essentials: Juices, cafecito, and a FAT meal. I love the little snacks they have all around the store as well. You will get a lot of food and drink for your buck here. Probably the cheapest juices you’ll get in Miami, coming in at two bucks. This location is a little smaller than the other ones I visited in Hialeah, but same great quality and very clean.

Amazing juices and tasty cuban sandwiches. Got tostones and sweet plantains, both were good but had been sitting awhile and didn’t taste as fresh it could’ve been. Lots of dried goods, honey, and pints of fresh juice and coconut to take home. One guy working there was friendly and explained different dishes to my gringo ass. All the other staff were annoyed at my lack of Spanish allowing people who knew the drill to order in front of me. Outdoor seating covered in bouganvilla reminded me of Los Angeles.
