I was craving refried beans and carne asada and this definitely hit the spot! I couldn’t believe that awesome breakfast was only $ 7! Will be coming back often.

Let’s get something straight. The nationality is Honduran, not Hondurian… Anyway, I am not sure why this is called a coffee shop. This is a «restaurant» with no table service, a place where you order your food at the counter and pay, and then you wait for your order to be called out. There are hot food trays with food ready to go, as well as food ready to assemble. You can eat in and seat at a table, or take out. My first time, I was here because I needed to use the facilities(no soap, just saying). When I exited the restroom, I glanced at the hot food and it looked good. I somewhat heard baleadas from one of the customers ordering, so I did a figure eight mixed with a U-turn and picked up a menu. Yes, they have a bunch of Central American dishes. So while I waited to order, I noticed in the back that there is one person dedicated to making tortillas. Not frying tortilla chips to dip in salsa(forget that), a person making the real whole tortillas. When I saw this I was immediately transported to Honduras(and I have never been). I needed to have a in-house made tortilla. So when my turn came, I ordered a baleada with avocado and egg. I am not going to say this is a vegetarian baleada because I know some people don’t see eggs as vegetables, so wathever, I am not saying it was a vegetarian baleada(but I did). I took my baleada and flexed. Second trip to this place, I got some roasted chicken with gayo pinto and plantains. And of course, some fresh made tortillas. I will say this: it was good. Of course, you really want to try these tortillas. I have explained in other reviews I don’t come from a tortilla culture, but man, forget about naan bread or NY pizza. These tortillas are going to blow you away. Now, don’t get overexcited. Proceed with caution, maybe pick up some lunch, or breakfast(there is a breakfast baleada!). Just try it and let me know. Anyway, I don’t know why people come here for coffee… or why this is called a coffee shop.

Best Cuban coffee! So tasty and available at the window on the go! I love hat authentic Cuban vibe of the cafecito & pan cubano in a hurry. Despite some weird stares I absolutely love to dunk my buttery bread in the coffee! And believe it or not it does add a unique and nice flavor to the coffee!

Best Baliadas EVER! The aren’t burnt tortillas; they are made for perfection. They are huge and always made on the spot. One try; and you’ll be on my side.

This place is much more than a ‘coffee & tea’ spot, but the coffee WAS great. The staff was very friendly even offering us samples of several of their Hondurian dishes. Super affordable. I could tell it was a favorite among locals — it was packed at 3:00! Will definitely go back on a return trip to Miami.

Small spot in Little Havanna. tipical Honduran food that me as a native of this country makes me retro my childhood; fast service, and delicious meal is always prepared at the point; I highly recommend the baleadas(the best of the best in Miami); the Sopa de Caracol; roast beef: fish; tacos, enchiladas, etc, etc. Is so delicious… you better go!!!

Delicious fresh brewed Cuban coffee in 1 minute for a $ 1… The food in the case looked fantastic– and less than $ 8/plate. Will return to eat at this authentic spot! Just needed caffeine fix this morning

This is the BEST spot for real Honduran food. I, personally, prefer Puerto Rican food — and sometimes Mexican, HOWEVER you have to go here. There is always a hot plate available. What you need to try: Tortillas, hand made, hand pressed, hand fried — 5 for $ 1, Carne asada is my favorite, but we always try 1 thing new like the baked chicken, or the pork chunk vegetable stew, or something off the menu. They have this homemade salsa, beware it is very hot — delicious, very spicy — we call it the carrot fire sauce. Just go here. If you are in Miami, on occasion, or only just visiting its worth the experience to eat like a local in a place that has some amazing home cooked food.

I’m not Honduran but I reside in the hood. This is a few blocks away from my condo. Cheap. Quick. Delicious… Baleadas.

Typical Honduran food served in great portions. Fresh food, quick service, clean restaurant and nice employees. Recently expanded so there are more tables in the back. Owner is very friendly and approachable. Favorite dish: Carne asada(«grilled red meat») which comes with white rice, refried beans(delicious), Honduran white cheese, small cabbage salad and your choice of a tortilla or mariquitas(fried green plaintains in long strip-like chips). I prefer the mariquitas. Another great dish: Tacos hondureños which resemble Mexican«flautas.» You definitely get your money’s worth. The restaurant also serves fresh exotic fruit juices as well as sodas, including Pepsi and Coca-Cola, imported from Honduras and kept in glass bottles.

Delicious and authentic Honduran food at an affordable price! My personal favorites include the Carne Asada(comes with a huge portion of rice, refried beans, cabbage salad, avocado and 2 tortillas) Pollo Ceibeño(delicious!) and the tacos. Their daily specials are also delicious and a great option if you are in a rush. My favorite honduran restaurant in Miami!

A small restaurant that serves delicious Centro American food(Honduran), very consistent, quick and cheap. There are food that’s ready to serve/take out and other dishes a la cart. The place is packed the whole day, it’s very convenient for take out and good to eat in as well. The ground beef enchiladas, rotisserie chicken, rice and chicken with sauce are our family favorite dishes! They offer glass bottle soda and typical Honduran drinks as well. A must try!
