Dairy Queen of Dade County

Was feeling for something sweet and decided to stop by and have an ice cream while waiting for my son to finish his tutoring. When I entered the dairy queen I looked around and they had so much to choose from including a candy station that was never there before. What I remember the most as a kid was the classic blizzards so that’s what I ordered mixed with vanilla ice cream and oreo. Sooo yummy but, I don’t know if it’s because I’m older now and use to eating frozen yogurt instead I can taste the sugar so much more now. I know some of you will disagree with me I prefer frozen yogurt instead but the store was very clean and the staff was friendly and there is plenty of sitting. One thing I did not like about the store was if you order anything under $ 5.00 they charge you an extra $ 0.50 if you use a credit card or debit uggghh about that but that place stays classic enjoyed my ice cream all the way to my son’s tutor lol.

Unfortunate to update to a lower rating, but the service today was unacceptable. The young lady at the counter was more interested in her boyfriend who was hanging out in the shop, than in taking care of the customers. Not sure if she was putting on a show for the young man, but she was rude, condescending and arrogant.
Had to clarify the order four times! How hard is it to keep an ice cream order straight? Really? The customer behind me in line couldn’t use this gift card because the «machine is broken». The young lady was so rude to him! Then he tried to pay with an Amex, «no we don’t take that either». Finally he paid with his debit card, and since the order didn’t reach a certain threshold, she had to charge him a fee??? Unreal! When the customer shared that he would be placing a complaint, the reply was «go ahead and do that».
Store needs a manager or a supervisor, over the age of 18 to keep customers. It’s a real shame given how close this place is.

I love every Dairy Queen it’s the best ice cream place in the world. I ordered a Vanilla Ice Cream with Rainbow Sprinkles and nerds and it was delicious always great 5 stars for me. Also this DQ is at a great location 13 779 SW 152^nd St

Your typical ice cream chain. I love their soft serve. What I like most about this particular DQ location is that it’s usually pretty quiet. People come in and out regularly, but not many sit to eat their ice cream so there are always empty little tables. The service is great because while there’s usually one person behind the counter, they are attentive and polite. Something done at this spot for DQ that I’ve never seen outside of TV ads is that before the person behind the counter hands you your blizzard, they actually turn it upside down to prove that the blizzard blend is thick and creamy enough to stay in the cup.

Dairy queen always makes me feel a bit nostalgic about the school years… And I love their Hawaiian blizzard. it’s just fruit & toasted coconut flakes… Simple & yummi.
I add chocolate sometimes if I need the little extra kick.
Staff is nice & the place is always clean.

I’ve been coming to this location for years.
They usually have young attractive girls working, while the manager (guy) is usually in the back looking at the cameras. lol
I’ve always received great service here and continue to come to this location because of that.
I usually get a blizzard with vanilla ice cream, pecans, butterfinger and cookie dough. It is amazing.
