Copper Tan

I usually tan around the Kendall area but since I was in the area I decided to pass by. Amazing customer service and super cute booths! Would definitely recommend to friends and I will definitely be coming back soon!

Great tanning specials right now!!! Found out that they have Mystic too! So happy to have found this place and Camilia who works there is knowledgeable and friendly. I bought a bottle of lotion, goggles, and mystic tan, and got a free month in the best stand up. Get over here now!

The staff is always really nice, beds are always clean and I’ve never had to wait for a bed — which is a plus. Tan V is a big pricier than most places in the area, but it’s worth the quality.

First, let me start off by saying that tanning is definitely harmful and totally unhealthy! Second, I have been coming to Tan V for years (on and off) and never had a problem. It isn’t fancy but it is clean and machines, for the most part, are always working. Busier times are evenings, especially Fridays but never too crowded. I hate to admit it but I like this place and I will keep on coming back because I do not like my pasty complexion.

I’ve never tanned before until a friend got me into it… but I’m pretty honest with my reviews.
Here’s what I like:

–decent location, free parking around the corner where the staples is
-$ 20 bucks a month for unlimited tanning!
Here’s what I really didn’t like:
the promo is usually 20 bucks a month and thats it. However when I signed up they said I needed to buy a bottle or a starter kit. Buying a bottle wouldn’t be an issue when you think «oh, 10 bucks or something?» NAH DUDE TRY 35 BUCKS. But they gave me a 15% discount so it was 27 along with the eye gear you MUST buy and bring every time. I found out that day when another friend joined that it WASN’T required, but the girl who helped me would force everyone to buy it. Worst part is that amped lotion made my body break out into little pimples. It took a good 5 days to go away. I have since been tanning without using it but moisterizing with hempz lotion and I’m doing peachy.
Overall I say it’s a good deal and I’ve never ever had to wait to use a booth. It’s in and out for me and I see a nice color on myself in less than a month going 3 times a week for 5 min on level 2.

I really like the location of this tanning salon. They have a special going on right now for $ 20 a month and you get unlimited level 1 standup tanning. The girls who work at this place are always friendly and informative about the products and services they offer.

There was a bit of a line this visit… luckily the girl checked me in while the new customer was filling out paperwork etc.

Very unfriendly staff! Cancelled my membership over a year ago, which their management never removed me from their system. Was charged every month and manager refused to remove the charges. Only willing to help if I continue paying for their services I don’t use. DO NOT GO THERE!!!

after asking everyone and anyone for advice, i decided on tan v, stand up beds, for 5 mins 3 times per week.
i went in last night. the place is full of neon purple lights, super clean, and 2 friendly front desk attendants. the one that helped had just started working this week, so i was extra patient when she (confusedly) explained the offers, diff beds, etc.
after about 5 mins i decided on a special offer for 50 dollars you get 140 dollars in credit to use however you want in any combination of the beds.
i also got some bronzer lotion and the little eyeglasses thingies for eye protection.
today im pink. a nice rosy color, it feels like i just got sun yesterday, which i guess i kinda did.
so i will update my review in about a week, to let you know how this really works out. for now they are a-​ok!

So I get asked by my friend «Hey ever been to a tanning booth?»; To which I reply «No the sun is free.»
Well Tan V had a promo were they were giving free tans, so hey I said, Why not? Just like going to the beach, only no sun, sand, ocean, ect.
This is the first tanning place I’d been to and I figured, my white butt could use some color. Interestingly enough you don’t lie down here you stand, hence the V in the name stands for vertical. Anyways, they start you off with a plethora of question regarding your skin type to get an idea of what would work for you and how long to be in the booth. Staff knew how to answer questions about they’re product. There are two types of tanning booths to pick from extreme and regular. Extreme is well extreme it’s a quicker cooker I call it. Decided to go with regular, stayed in for 5 minutes. It’s an interesting experience tanning in one of those things. If you’re looking for a full body tan they’re pretty good. I don’t have anything to compare to but, as far as service and product they seem to have a good thing going.
