Small dingy looking restaurant. Parking is weird. A small lot. Ladies behind the counter had a bad attitude. All they did was sit behind the counter eating from a take out plate while I placed my order. Ordered the jerk chicken, rice and beans and cabbage plate which wasn’t all that great. The jerk chicken taste like it had been sitting around all day and the rice and beans were very bland. Didn’t taste any flavor which is a disgrace to a Jamaican plate. I wouldn’t go here for authentic Jamaican food if I were you.

I really enjoyed the food from here. I had the Akee and Salt Fish. The customer service was excellent. The owner spoke to me the whole time will I waited for my food. I didn’t have to wait long for fresh food!

CALLTOPREORDER before you come in. This is a pretty small hole in the wall so there isn’t much parking although I haven’t had any issues. Everyone here seems to be moving In slow motion, so make sure you’re not in a rush before going. Overall, the food tastes great and the portions are more than fair for the price, I’ve tried the Jerk Chicken and the Curry Goat both of which were very good. 3 stars because the service is slooooooow.

I love the food here. I only get the oxtails, curry goat or curry chicken. I never sat down and ate but have enjoyed some good music and conversation. The staff is a revolving door. Some nice others not so much. The portions are generous and price is reasonable

It’s best dish and I have tried many is the curry chicken with food! Which means yam, dumpling, sweet plantain, boiled banana and steamed cabbage. Pork has too much fat. Place is a bit run down and in my opinion needs a facelift to attract more people, they already have the customer base it’s a matter of investing on it. I go there often

Bad quality food & poor service. Used to be good but last few times food tasted stale. Would def not recomend at all. Better offer driving a little further to one of the Jamaican restaurantes by 183rd street &7th avenue.

Off the chain!!! The oxtails are a must! They are very tender and the gravy is amazing I had to order extra on the side to put more on my rice. This place feels really homey and very affordable.

Horrible customer service, lacking respect and cleanliness. The place looked as though it wasn’t cleaned in years. I would give Zero stars if possible!

I had a large brown stew chicken dinner and it was Great!!! The only thing is parking is terrible but that didn’t take away from the service and great food.

Parking: horrible Food: I purchased the oxtails for about $ 13. It was recommended by a customer who was in the restaurant. The food was just ok. The cabbage was bland. The oxtails were not tender and was just okay. The rice was good but the gravy was bland. Service: the wait staff was nice. The place was packed but the food came out quick.

Good not great food. The outside environment is sketchy at night. The front of the house staff did not seem very inviting or friendly.

Best Jamaican food in town. Love the Jerk Pork. One of those hidden spots you would not have gone to unless one of your Jamacian friends had invited you. Cliffs one of my favorite spots open until 12:00am.

The food and the customer service/staff is not consistent . It is a very small spot where locals go and the Parking situation is not very good I simply go here because there is not a lot of Jamaican options in Miami, all of the good ones are in Fort Lauderdale. The curry goat is good but very spicy The oxtails are good but not consistent which is disappointing . The rice and peas and plantains are good and you can always substitute . The meat pies suck Portion size is good. For oxtails or large dinners the price is a bit high. Red velvet cake is very good

The restaurant is OK. Just that simple. They charge almost 6.00 for a piece of jerk leg quarter… Uhhhh!?! The lunch special is reasonably priced. The chicken is alright not that good jerk one would look for. The only think jerk about the chicken is the skin. They should marinate their chicken. The rice nd peas are quite bland as well. If you want mediocre island food then come here.

My go to place for when I want my Ackee salt fish and boiled bananas outside of regular breakfast hours. They are great most days for the stew peas. Their hours are the most convenient of any Jamaican restaurant around. You’ll always find me at the bar soaking up some A/C and a hot plate.

It’s a total hole in a wall but if you’re looking for authentic Jamaican food. This is the place to go. I might’ve tried everything on the menu. I love the oxtails! And the jerk chicken is authentic. Made in their back yard’s grille and everything! I have not been disappointed yet. Parking is limited but there’s a lot of parking on the side street about half a block away. My go to place when I’m craving Jamaican food, which is about once a week. They also have a full stocked bar.

Unfortunately my last visit was very subpar. The service was nice but as far as the food went, this time we went for chicken dishes. Jerk chicken came too dry and the curry chicken was too salty and with mediocre chicken. I would avoid the chicken dishes at this place for future visits and order the other things.

This place is hit or miss… They have 2 different chefs so its either good or ehh… I can never figure out when is a good time to go and when I should stay away. Also, I ordered some hardough bread from here before and it was dry and flavorless…
