I tried this place about a year ago when a friend was working there. It was decent. General Tso lunch special(specials are Monday-Friday, and end at 3PM) for about $ 7.00. It was the usual run of the mill Chinese food. The other day at work I needed a quick lunch fix, so I stopped by. I ordered it to go, not knowing if I was gonna have time to eat it. Luckily when I got to work, everything was still hot(a little TOO hot). The chicken was okay, heavily breaded, and they had used TOO much sauce. The rice was very mediocre. I’ve had rice from here on multiple occasions when people order it at work, and it has been much better. The price for all this, along with an eggroll was $ 10.00 with a bottle of water. Pretty good, I guess. Two people could eat from the huge portion, so I ended up throwing half away. No fortune cookies? Chinese food fail. After a few more visits, they won me over with their chicken fried rice(order it SPICY), which runs for about $ 3.50, and fills you up quite nicely. Their dumplings are also good, and the honey/orange chicken get the job done. The hot and sour soup is also an interesting choice. I don’t know if I could say it is THEBEST hot and sour soup, but it is pretty good. For $ 2.50, you get a generous sized soup to relieve you of your cold or whatnot. So, like the Unilocal rating says, ‘A-OK.’
