In a sea of Hispanic food in Downtown Miami, this is one of the few non-Hispanic eateries in the area. Located inside an arcade, this cafeteria style shop is easily missed. It was a rather quick sell: Burger and fries Cuban Sandwich and fries My brother raved over the Cuban Sandwich, so that is what I ordered; it was my friend that was tasting something more American. The food is prepared to order and we were able to sit in the common area while it was cooked. The person performing the work called us when the food was ready. The hamburger was nothing special. It wasn’t seasoned and the patty was fairly thin. It was something that anyone could make at home with a package of ground round from the supermarket. The Cuban Sandwich was actually decent. I had no issue eating it and would order it again. It is not something that I would make a trip back for and there would have to be something else as the draw. The oddest part of the meal was the french fries. This establishment likes to put grated parmesan cheese on the fries. It was just odd and out of place. I will never crave anything or think to come back, but if someone else wanted to come, I wouldn’t be adverse.
