I wouldn’t make this place a destination. Evidently a lot of people seem to love it, but I don’t see the magic. I see the point if you’re already *at* Bayside marketplace, but unless you’re coming for a quick bite, there’s no point in making a detour over here. It’s difficult to find and about a 15 minute walk from the metromover. I got a croqueta and a bunch of empanadas from here. The empanadas were fine, but the croquetas were soggy and must have been a day old. I assume the five star reviews are for the coffee, but if you’re getting anything else, I wouldn’t bother. Life is short, and you’d be better off at one of the Cuban places downtown than coming over here.

The service here was good. I like the cozy atmosphere. I really enjoyed having a coffee here. If only this place wasn’t that far from where I stayed then everything would be perfect.

Great little Cuban takeaway coffee and snack place. So many wonderful coffee options with exotic names(submarino!). The café con leche and cortado are delicious(and sweet). If you are a vege, their spinach empinadas are absolutely yummy — but beware, they are not available every day. Definately recommend this authentic local business.

Excellent cuban coffee, I was surprised in such a horrible tourist trap that there was a good coffee spot. Not that I would ever go back to Bayside, but if I were to go there the coffee is worth it!

This is my favorite place to come to every single time I come to Bayside Marketplace. Located on the ground level, very small walk up counter. They make outstanding café con leche’s. When we came here a few weeks ago I got my usual café con leche, bought my lottery tickets, and got all of us some empanada’s. My daughter and her friends loved their various filled empanada’s. I chose the spinach, and wow was it ever good. Filled with fresh spinach, light outside, hot and fresh. The ladies working here usually speak very little english but I have never had a problem getting my order right. They are friendly and I always tip them in a small jar on the counter for doing such a great job. A one stop shop for me for coffee, lottery tickets, and a snack. They also make sandwiches in which I have yet to try but I will after tasting their empanada’s. Most of the restaurants in Bayside are not very good so if your shopping around for a few bucks come here and get some good food. Thank you for being here, oh yeah they are across from Starbucks. LOL My coffee is only 75 cents here. yay, for good prices on great coffee.
