Nice little coffee house that beats all the chain places nearby. The breakfast pastries and coffee were both fresh. There’s plenty of seating with tables and couches. They don’t have a high chair for toddlers or else I’d given it 4 stars.

Love having another coffee shop option in Miami besides Starbucks! Café Bleu is conveniently located next to a metro stop & also has free parking first hour(maybe more depending what time you are there). I love that they have couches & have tried to create a cozy atmosphere. It’s a pretty quiet spot in the evening which I appreciate. I’ve enjoyed their chai latte & coffee. Only thing I’m confused about is that they display their tea as «free trade» & I believe they meant to put«fair trade». Definitely check this place out & support small business!

I come here EVERY morning and Diana always knows what I want. Right when I come in they start getting my cold brew ready. Service is fast, reliable and consistent. The staff knows my son’s name and it’s a great environment for me to get work done and bring the family. Diana provides a great and fast service to the community! Wish we had more places like this around.

Quaint little coffee shop that serves a great breakfast. Was crowded on Sunday at 10, but service was efficient and food was hot. Had the omelette and iced coffee. Would recommend most anything on menu.

Excellent food… tried the chicken focaccia as recommended by Unilocal and the staff. Quality ingredients you can taste, fresh greens and a balsamic glaze. Enough said… Bön Appétit! Parking can be tough street side but the apartments do offer a garage if you turn into the alley-way next to Bleu.

This morning’s breakfast left me feeling… Bleu. If first impressions matter, then here are a few things I noticed: I had just finished a 7-mile run around UM, so I was very excited to see they had a water cooler on their counter. When I served myself a cup, I noticed a little speck of dust swimming in the water. I told myself, «Man up and pick it out!» In doing so, I then saw a fruit fly in the bottom. Umm… The café was empty when we walked in. I didn’t let this deter me either because it could just be a slow morning. So we proceeded to order. Their menu is pretty expansive; anything from teas, espresso/blended drinks, simple omelettes, wraps, flat breads, salads, and other breakfast selections. We decided on a «lighter fare» and made two orders of the oatmeal with fruit and maple, and a breakfast wrap to share. There’s no table service, which is fine by me, so they called us up when our order was ready. Only one order of the oatmeal came out; no fruit. I don’t speak very loudly so maybe they didn’t hear me. Okay. I checked later, and it wasn’t charged on my bill. No biggie. The breakfast wrap was very simple; it was a 3-egg omelette with melted cheese and tomatillo sauce in a wheat wrap. I know I could’ve made this myself… I’m paying for the convenience, I guess? I did get a free tall brew with my food order thanks to Unilocal! That was yummy. I added some skim milk and homemade simple sugar to it. There was a bit of fruitiness to the coffee that was surprisingly good. If I do come back, it would only be for the coffee.

I love coming to Café Bleu for lunch. It’s one of my favorite spots! Being pescetarian, it can be difficult to find decent options for lunch. But Café Bleu offers just that. My favorite thing to get here is the spicy tuna focaccia. It’s actually spicy! Everything always tastes fresh. Portions are good as well — I always get«greens» as my side and the portion is decent. I can never finish the second half of my sandwich. The atmosphere here is wonderful as well. It’s spacious, clean, has lots of windows, and they always have some nice music in the background. The seating options are all different which is kinda nice too. If you wanna kick back on a couch and chill there’s that, if you wanna study at a table there’s that too. I think my «biggest» complaints [which really, are so minor they’re almost unimportant] are the staff and the coffee. Both seem hit or miss. I’ve had some really friendly staff interactions and I’ve had some somewhat unpleasant ones. Nothing crazy, but sometimes they give off a I-wish-you-hadn’t-walked-in-so-i-can-keep-chilling vibe. And the coffee… I’ve only had it once, but it was a tad on the weak side(I ordered a café au lait). Not sure if it was just that cup or if this is standard but it just seemed very milky. I’d order it again, though, and maybe ask for it to be «strong». Overall, wonderful little spot near UM for food and coffee. I highly recommend it.

I’ve heard that some businesses have their friends write great reviews to attract consumers to the establishment. Yea, this I believe is one of them. When you are competing with the many Starbucks and Panera breads around the area it should be different. This place is not. The coffee is nothing out of this world. As a matter of fact it’s better at Starbucks. The food is a joke. It’s something that can be made at home. Just make plain scrambled eggs with cheese and two plain toasts and you can save yourself the $ 10. If you want anything else added it will cost you .50 per item. You could end up paying $ 18 for eggs. I hate to say it but Denny’s is better! This place is way overpriced for the quality of coffee and food. I guess it’s because it’s so close to UM.

I have been going to Café Bleu for a few months now to study between classes and just hang out and I must admit, I LOVE it. First off, it has a great atmosphere for studying. With beautiful ambient music, a couple of great studying nooks and plenty of seating for the size of the café, I can always count on the café to provide a hospitable environment for focusing. The food here is delicious as well. My favorite dish is the Thunder Club; a large sandwich with three different types of meat and all the flavor you could want. One of the most refreshing aspects of the Café is the staff. In Miami, it is tough to find great service, but at Café Bleu that is no problem. Robert, the manager, consistently provides a pleasant interaction with me and the other patrons. He gave me excellent recommendations for new foods and drinks to try here that I have always enjoyed. I will continue to come back throughout my time at grad school here and highly recommend that you do too!

This place is AWESOME! Their food is amazing. Buffalo pizza flatbread is so good. Their signature cold brew coffee is the best I’ve had in Miami. Everything is delicious! They have amazing seating and great hours. Very friendly staff. BEST thing is prices! Good for a student on a budget!

Finally a legit coffee place near UM. As a newyorker I need an actual coffee place to call mine. So they just opened up apparently. I ordered a caramel macchiato and it was ONPOINT. I also ordered an ultimate egg sandwich, which was delish. All and all I’d say I’ve found my new study spot. Updated review: I’d thought it be worth adding a couple things. First, on Sunday’s they have open mic night! I came last Sunday not know about this and was pleasantly surprised. I ended up staying for a quite a while. Secondly, is a recommendation. Take advantage of the protein shakes here. These people willing to put anything you imagine in your shake. Last time I had chocolate, protein, banana, peanut butter, and a shot of expresso… No ice skim milk… So good. Right when I think I’ve seen everything here Café Bleu keeps surprising me.

The Short: Café Bleu adequately fills a void in the UM/Sunset area. It is open late, has plenty of seating, free wifi, decent tea, and a serviceable menu. It only falls short because it serves very mediocre coffee. Still, I’ll be back to sip tea and do work. The Long: This is my third time at Café Bleu since it opened. I’ve been twice to grab a tea/coffee and once to sit and do work. The space: Café Bleu is large, clean, and bright. Which, In my opinion, can be a mixed blessing for a coffee shop. It feels like the kind of place you have a working lunch or where you meet your realtor to chat. I wouldn’t call it hip or intimate. This seems like an odd strategy given that there are 4 – 5 Starbucks(which all fill that gap) within biking/walking distance and its right next to a university. They have every opportunity to be something more interesting, and didn’t. That being said, it’s a nice space with plenty of outlets and seating. What it offers: Free wifi, open until 11PM, great location for UM, friendly service. I’m not sure why they had Frank Sinatra on for 2 hour today. Doesn’t seem like its catering to that demographic. Still no complaints here. The Food/Drink: They have loose leaf tea.(a BIG plus in my book) and a menu that I would call«a little more than what you would expect» from a coffee place like this. Notable addition(beyond standard café sandwiches/muffins/croissants) Hummus platter, omelets, waffles. Unfortunately, my biggest complaint is the coffee! When I asked, the baristas didn’t know where it came from or how it was roasted. They only knew that the house blend was«3 types of beans» which made me even less impressed. Eventually we found out it was roasted in Atlanta. It is very mediocre. Again, with the number of other mediocre places around, its a shame they don’t step up their game and get their coffee from a local roaster like Panther or Relentless Coffee Roasters. At least a quality roaster like Counter Culture. This one little tweak would make me an avid customer(and local advocate among the UM grad school population)! In summary, Café Bleu at least plugs a hole in the coffee shop vacuum that is the Sunset/UM area. Stepping up their coffee game would make this a solid 5 star location. Update after 1 month: Music has improved. Coffee has not.

In all my 4 years of living in Miami this is the first place I’ve found that serves coffee delicious and affordable food, and is friendly to students that want to stick around and study. They have lots of counters, tables and couches and even have live coffeehouse music and an open mic night. If you’re a student at UM or are in the area, you definitely need to stop by this place and check it out. Really impressed.

Café Bleu just opened and I couldn’t be happier about it. As a third year law student, I have had a cup or two of coffee. Observing them, I noticed that their coffee is perfectly made on genuine Italian equipment. It shows. I ordered the traditional macchiato, and it was by far the best I’ve had in Miami. This will be my new regular spot for sure. It’s also of a good size and has plenty of furniture and space for studying. Better than passion del cielo for sure. I ordered their ultimate breakfast sandwich. It’s epic. Their food is on point. I highly recommend this place.
