Awesome and wide beer selection! Clean, well maintained, smells good! Greg owns and operates the place so it’s legit local Miami owned. Support this local business!

It used to be really cool microbrew bar but something happen. I don’t know if the change of ownership or whatever it was but it changed really fast. I haven’t visited since the US world cup game against Portugal last year.

When you split or take a break from your regular bar, you start thinking about that one that everyone was making a fuss over some time ago. You decide to take skis for a spin and you might even get excited once you’re inside. You have a few drinks, play some games and have an ok time. Then, you sober up and realize that it’s got no personality. It really isn’t even all that attractive. You almost start to feel like that load of cash was wasted. All for what? Another bar under your belt? You give it some time and find yourself thinking about skis more than you should, wondering if maybe it was just an off night. So you hit it up again and give it another go. Things go a little better this time but it’s still missing something. It doesn’t have that energy. It doesn’t do it for you how your old bar did and you find yourself opening up waze to find the best route back to YOUR bar. Well. that was my experience. Skis seems fun with it’s shelf full of games and beer pong table. There are nights when anyone would be game /drunk enough for that. There just isn’t enough space for all that fun and it’s too disorganized. Specials are«daily» or at will and seem to carry over if the owner doesn’t feel like writing. There is no happy hour even though it seems like it’s really hurting for business on weekdays. It is within walking distance of UM which isn’t necessarily a bad thing… until Kappa Tau Gamma comes by and drinks all the miller light — leaving you without any water to sober up with. They do have a nice selection of beers, but the prices are 97.3% dumb. Specials are usually on a few pitchers but even those prices still aren’t very special. If scrabble, beer pong and being so close to someone that you can smell their fart before it even leaves their butt are selling points to you then you might like this place on the weekends.

Smelled a bit of smoke, but other than that a really good place for chill drinks with a large and varied selection of beers

I do enjoy the great variety of beers this place offers. I also think the service is decent. If you like small dark hidden bars then this is the place for you.

Been here a couple times now… it’s a hit and miss crowd. Some nights it’s packed, others it’s nice and relaxing. The beer selection is quite extensive. Lots of craft beer. I always try something different, and there’s lots to choose from. They’ve got lots of specials and featured brews… and the bartenders really know their stuff! Street parking is tough to find but there’s a garage around the corner.

I honestly never even knew this place existed until one of my friends suggested it, we were looking for something chill to do on a Saturday night. This place is pretty cool! Who doesn’t love beers and board games? I know I do! I felt like a kid in a grownups body playing Mancala and drinking beer. I had 2 glasses of some beer don’t even remember the name all I know is by the 2nd one I had to stop. Pretty strong at least for me. All in all this place great will be coming back most definitely!

Love this place and the selection! It is a hit or miss with the live music… but if you are lucky to be there when there is music, all the better. Great watering hole.

Small, relaxed place with a large beer selection. There’s a decent number of beers on tap, but the real selection is in the bottled beers. There are ciders as well. We liked all of the beers we tried, and enjoyed our time. The bartender was able to give good recommendations and was helpful. The menu has a good variety of price points as well, though I’d say a lot of the beers are on the higher end of pricing as far as beer for the neighborhood its in, but many of the beers are more specialized, expensive beers that the high price isn’t unreasonable for.

If you’re looking for a small hole in the wall to call your own, head out to Brewskis on Sunset by Sunset Place Mall. This small time bar prides itself on Craft beers from around the world to suit anyone’s taste. The bartenders are very friendly, remember your face, and love the beer they serve just as much as you do. Some nights are busier than others, but the overall feel of the bar is very relaxed and low key. PS if you’re into IPAs, I recommend trying Ballast Point Sculpin.

I have been coming here for years. I remember it being called Cervezas. Things have changed and not for the better. On Saturday night I was charged $ 19.00 for a duchesse de bourgogne…(a great beer by the way). About a month ago the same beer cost $ 9.00. More than double the price and the bartender didn’t mention anything about the price change. I used to tell everyone about this place. Sad to say but I won’t be coming back to this place. There used to be a guy named Scott who I believe was running the joint but I haven’t seen him in a while… maybe that has something to do with it.

Brewskis the name says it all chill spot to grab a brew. Selection is massive and if you are having a hard time choosing the bartender is glad to help you out. They do not have food but since it is conviently located by sunset place they have plenty of restaurants that will gladly deliver. Good place to get together with some friends and just hangout drinks some beers and play some board games.

I’m such a fan of Brewskis. This place is always a good time and they have a great selection of rotating craft beers. What more can a girl ask for??? This place is a little small but that’s part of the charm. When ever you visit you quickly forget you aren’t just hanging at a friends house. My most recent visit was last weekend with a group of friends and everyone had a great time. The music was a perfect mix played by good band and the beers were cold. To top it off this place has a bunch of fun board games. On this particular visit, we came a little later and I had already eaten, but on previous visits I have enjoyed the ability to order delivery from the many restaurants in the area. During the week and earlier in the day this a great place to stop in if you want a quick beer, from a local place. On weekends the scene is a little different. The bar is quite tiny and fills up quickly. Regardless of when you go the service is great.

Words can’t describe how perfect BrewskiS is but i will try my best. It’s the epitome of what a bar should be. i frequent this establishment on a regular basis and i can honestly say I’ve never had a bad experience here. From the board games to the décor and the almost intimate feeling you get when you’re sitting at the bar and working seamlessly with the atmosphere the bartenders are some of the most friendly people I’ve had the pleasure of conversing with and have such a wide knowledge of their craft its almost frightening. Well placed right on the Sunset theres plenty to see and do before and after your beer, unfortunately parking is a bit difficult especially during the weekends. Believe me when i say, this is a pearl among clams it has earned my loyalty many times over. Come find me playing battleships at the bar. Loser buys..

Probably one of my favorite bars in Miami. If you’re into craft beers, then this is your spot. A very wide collection of beers and the staff have a great beer knowledge as well as great vibes. They have beers that most bars(even the popular ones) don’t have. It makes a beer snob like myself very happy and comfortable because this is the place that beer snobs can unite! It can be a busy on Friday night but it’s definitely a chill spot any other day The best part is their specials. Not only does it consist of unique beers but you’re not breaking your bank when you close out. I strongly recommend this bar to anyone who just wants to chill, receive great attention from the staff and drink the best beers.

This watering hole in South Miami is starting to catch some steam. After coming here for a Two Brothers tap take over, I decided to come back to try some more beers. I have been actually lucky to run into some Hi Res, Tart of Darkness, Château Jiahu, all on tap. I have found some bottles of Lagunitas Sucks and Terrapin Moo Hoo, which may be wide available now, but not when they were just released. These kids had them. I love beer on tap. It is fresh, most of the time, and sometimes it introduces new things to the market. Breweries nowadays have special release kegs, so just like the seasonal beers, there are seasonal kegs. This would be one of the places to come and enjoy some of those limited releases. And also, they have the new bottles coming out, so coming here is always a winning proposition. If it’s not on tap, it’s on a bottle. They have a very large selection of cold beers here. Besides the more obscure and hard to find beers, this place caters to the craft beer community in other ways. For example, they host local brewers, they have a beer and pizza night when you get craft beer and pizza for $ 20, I think they open 15 bottles or more those nights, they participate in festivals like Sprung, and they have their $ 4 craft beer happy hour, for the craft beer neophytes or for those trying to impress while on a budget. The ambiance is not divey at all, it is kind of «college town» with UM as a neighbor. No food is served but there are menus available, and there is a constant stream of deliveries if you come around dinner time. And of course, the service is awesome. Every single person is very knowledgeable about craft beer, breweries, events, related stuff, most have tried brewing and some are brewers as well. Also, if you are not familiar with the beers they are glad to offer a sample, if it’s on tap. And they can recommend some beers off the bottle list. This is one of my new watering holes. Cool people, cool vibe, college girls, sports playing on the screens, what else do you want? Free parking? Maybe after you order a Cascade Kriek. Adult Trivia happens on Wednesday. Karaōke on Friday. Pick your poison.

BrewskiS was the perfect spot to enjoy the nice weather at one of their outdoor/sidewalk tables. We weren’t into the dark, loud interior so we headed outside where we could actually hear each other talk. They have an excellent variety of beer to choose from and I wasn’t disappointed by any of their offerings, win!

Brewskis is your typical dive bar located on the Sunset Place strip. They offer phenomenal service and a laid-back atmosphere, but they fall a little bit flat regarding their beer selection. I came here with a friend to hang out and drink a few«brewskies»(pun intended), and the first thing I noticed was that there is no free parking. You have to pay for parking at the meters, which is okay, considering it may only cost a few dollars. The interior of the bar is very cozy, and there are stools and the bar on one side, and the other side has booths and chairs. I noticed guests playing board games, so it is definitely the ideal atmosphere to have a good time. On weekends(Friday and Saturday), Brewskis has live music, and Thursday is karaōke night(so that means stay away from here on a Thursday… just kidding!) The band that was playing when I paid them a visit was a UM band called Wynwood Walls – they played really good 1990’s covers and a few original bluegrass songs, which may represents the bar’s eclectic choice in music. The crowd is also very friendly, and my friend and I were able to strike up conversations with the bartender and those at the bar. The beer menu is quite extensive, but when I went here, I decided to order a Chang’s(otherwise known as the best Asian beer ever), and they were out of it – on a Friday night! Even though they may be out of some stuff, their selection is still great, and you can still find something that tastes as great here. Overall, I would come here again to hang out. Good atmosphere, good service, pleasant crowd – I just wish they had a full stock of everything on their menu.
