Ones of the best restaurants in miami! Love the atmosphere, and the food is just amazing! Super friendly service will definitely recommend it and visit again!

I was recommended by a friend to come here for their happy hour(5−8pm). It was everything they said and more. It was delicious! I personally love raw oysters and when I found out they were a $ 1 I almost fainted of excitement. The grilled oysters are very yummy too! I got a cucumber lavender cocktail($ 5) and it was so fresh and light. It is perfect for Miami’s summer heat. I will definitely be coming back to this place very soon to try their full menu.(And the happy hour, again)!

I visited brasserie many times and a few things are consistently good, delicious food, great atmosphere, and great service. Unlike any other restaurant in Miami, Brasserie Azur offers a chic environment and great home style, sophisticated, cooking. The GM, Tommy, and his staff are on top of their game and know exactly what hospitality is about. Must haves include the artichoke carpaccio salad, truffle pizza — add pata negra ham, and the truffle chicken. Aside from these three items, I would easily give the remainder of the menu 5 stars considering the chefs outstanding skills.

My new favorite happy hour spot! Did you hear about $ 1 oysters?! Grilled or raw. But get them grilled and you won’t regret it. Grilled $ 1 oysters made my whole weekend. Everything else we ordered was to die for, I wish I could’ve ordered the whole menu so I could try them all. On top of that they have signature cocktails for $ 5! You can’t beat these prices in midtown especially with the ambiance of a nice restaurant and bartender/waitress. The only downfall is you have to sit at the bar, but the waitress looked like she came out of a French vogue magazine and made my drinks so perfect. I would like to come back on a Thursday when they have the special for a 3 course dinner for $ 29. Can’t wait to try more on their menu!

Came for happy hour on a Saturday, and it couldn’t have been better. Great premium cocktails for $ 5.00, and $ 3.00 beers on tap. Hard to beat that. Awesome prices for gourmet appetizers. The restaurant itself is a beautiful place. Red flowers hanging from the ceiling. Big open spaces. A nice long bar, and just an over clean and cozy atmosphere. It gives you the feeling of being somewhere fancy while at the same time feeling right at home. I feel like they could have had some more options on the specialty cocktail list. They didn’t even have a whisky cocktail. But hey for 5 bucks, can’t complain. I did enjoy the cucumber Moscow mule and the Miami Margarita. To start we had a truffle pizza, which was really light and crispy. Very tasty. Also $ 1 oysters for happy hour. They have raw and grilled. We tried the grilled, and they did not disappoint. They were amazing my only regret is not ordering more. As an entrée I had the grilled lamb chops. They were perfectly executed. Juicy and tender. With a side of cheesy potatoes that were a tremendous compliment to the lamb chops. We had so much to eat we couldn’t make room for dessert. Hopefully next time we can try some of their tempting offers, because there will surely be a next time, very soon.

The service was good in the beginning after a while they change waiters on us without informing us. The air conditioner was not working and it so hot and humid. The restaurant was packed. We see this gentleman at the table and he said I am your waiter. That dessert we was serve was not worth it. The pasta dishes did not taste good and it had no flavor. The chicken disn was very good. Will I go back to this restaurant no.

I have only visited for happy hour, and both times I ordered the grilled oysters. Only $ 1 during happy hour along with a very nice selection of discounted cocktails. This place has tough competition with Bocce and Sugarcane on the same block, but if service and food remains the same quality I will be happy to add it to my midtown rotation.

This is my second time coming here and I must say that this last time I liked it better. We ordered the truffle pizza for an appetizer and it was AMAZING! If you have a party of 3 or more it could work as an appetizer. I ordered linguini with Bolognese sauce and it was very good. Maybe I was a little hungry that I felt I could have eaten a little more… in other words… portion was a little small. To top it off we ordered the crème brûlée which was so so,… but the oreo donuts were unbelievable! The décor is really nice, friendly staff, super nice place overall!

I was in the mood for a nice, relaxing brunch and drove by Brassierie Azur and decided to stop in to give it a try. Excellent Choice! The vibe is relaxing, with live musicians playing/singing jazzy, Brazilian-style music, the décor is very European, the service was tres magnifique, and the food was simply delicious. I had the eggs benedicts with salmon. Cooked just right and soooo good. Paired nicely with a mimosa… or 2 or 3. They have unlimitted mimosas for $ 25., a bit on the pricey side compared to their neighboring restaurants, but still worth it if you want to enjoy all the benefits that come with paying higher prices. My friend had the steak, medium-rare with a side of mashed potatoes. I am not a steak lover, but I had to try a little piece and it was mouth-watering, tender, nicely seasoned and perfectly cooked. The mashed pototatoes were velvety creamy deliciousness. Our server Marios — yes, plural as in 2 Marios — was just devine. He’s Greek, sweet, cute and provided excellent service … all wrapped up in just 1 Mario. :) I will be returning for brunch again soon!

This place was awesome! Sooooo good. The décor inside is so beautiful and I love the ceiling. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious and there was so much more I wanted to try out so I cannot wait to come back in. The ambiance is really beautiful. My only complaint was the our server wasn’t that great — he barely spoke english and I’m not sure if he understood half of the things that we were saying. He took too long with our drinks and barely checked in with us, so we were constantly having to wave him down. But none-the-less the food was soooooo goood! I loved it.

This place has a nice décor, it’s modern and comfortable. The servers are mainly from France with deep accent so you have the European feeling. King of nice. The food was not as good as we expected, we ordered 2 Grilled Lamb Chops Au Thym and it was full of grease and small portions(expected in a France rest.) my friend ordered lobster and he say it was ok, not too fresh, I got the Provençal Pan Seared Sea Bass which I liked it, small… We didn’t order wine since I brought my one, corkage fee was around $ 20 or $ 30, don’t recall. The decanter was nice while the wine glasses of this place are average. Their wine list was acceptable with a few good choices. I may go back in the future…

Went here to check out the happy hour. The happy hour is from 4 – 7 weekly. All the drinks are half off but I ended up getting a $ 3 Stella. We ordered the truffle pizza $ 8 and the Spanish Tortilla with a salad $ 6. The pizza is very good but it’s not very filling, it’s more of a Flatbread. Atmosphere is very nice and the food was pretty good. I’d have to say Bocce is better next door but we wanted to try something different for a change. It was nice to try out but I don’t think I’d revisit. We were the only ones in the restaurant and the service was a little slow.

I must be the only person that had bad luck here. I treated my daughter to a celebratory dinner for her good grades and was super excited about taking her here after reading a bunch of great Unilocal reviews. Well I guess there was a big party going on inside but everyone else not in the party was moved around and made to wait. Upon making a reservation I was asked if I wanted indoor/outdoor seating and I asked for inside. When we got there we were told there was no space due to a party and were moved outside which was hot & muggy. We were dressed nice and started to sweat immediately so there goes strike one. Next they took forever to serve us and waiters were switched twice on us. the employees seemed confused the entire time. Food was ok. What I wanted was not available so I ordered the fish and from what I remember it was dry and only OK. My daughters dish was OK as well. Nothing to root for. The dessert was awesome though. i’ll post pics because I forgot the names of what I ordered. To top it off my credit card info was stolen and fraud charges were made the following day. I don’t want to say it was my waiter but he took forever to come back with my card and I hadn’t made any other purchases prior to going to Brasserie Azur. I hope this was just a one time deal but I was not impressed and maybe it was just my luck. My dinner was not worth what I paid for that night. To management please make sure if you have a large party, you schedule proper staffing and space because I shouldn’t have been moved from my table to the outside.

Brasserie Azur is located in the former Mercadito space in Midtown. As you enter, you will find this dimly lit, beautifully decorated setting showcasing brick work, rustic tables and chic accents. I visited for dinner on a Friday and was promptly seated near the bar. The menu is relatively extensive, and it was difficult to narrow down the plates we wanted to try since they all sounded amazing. Their menu infuses French dishes with a distinctive Mediterranean flare. We sampled several plates and I can’t say I disliked any of them. The highlights were the escargots de Bourgogne in a delicate garlic buttered sauce and the pizzetta à la truffé with truffle mascarpone and mozzarella cheese. For dessert, their exquisite classique Paris-Brest makes for a perfect meal closure. Their handcrafted cocktails are aromatic, refreshing, very strong and surprisingly affordable at around $ 11 a piece. The service is not overbearing and quick to deliver your order. Brasserie Azur is a great addition to Midtown, and I would go back in a heartbeat.

I’m quite impressed by this new French restaurant, it’s perfect for brunch or date night! First off, kudos to the interior designer(s) of this place, who did a splendid job creating a modern, rustic chic vibe. The red flowers hanging from the ceiling and the antique incandescent bulbs adorning the restaurant are positively charming. I loved the tables, chairs, everything! The space inside is very open, including the bar area, and yet retaining an element of intimacy. The food was great quality and I’m sure would do the French proud. I’m not a foie gras person, but I tried it and it was top notch – buttery rich and paired perfectly with the sweet chutney. If you can appreciate foie gras, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed! The quiche lorraine was quite good, a solid option for brunch, but I probably won’t order it next time since there’s so many other things I’d like to try. I also had the roast duck with poached apples, served with a side of mashed potatoes. I loved this dish! The apples were a lovely touch to the savory, tender duck. The mashed potatoes were fantastic, slightly different from the typical American version, I think they put less butter. Lastly, try their coffee if you’re into the strong stuff. Overall, had a very positive experience and definitely putting here on my revisit list! Can’t wait to sample their desserts next time!

This new spot nestled in between Sugarcane and Bocce Bar in midtown is such a pleasant restaurant, I welcome it with open arms. I came here for brunch with no expectations at all considering how new it is but the moment you walk in you’re almost forced to be excited at what’s to come. The atmosphere is warm with rustic decorations and floral vines running along the ceiling. The open kitchen smelled divine and everyone enjoying their meals seemed to be content with what they had ordered. Now on to what you really care about… the actual meal. They had a ton of sweet and savory options and a great cocktail menu($ 25 unlimited mimosas for two hours). I chose the salmon eggs Benedict and a chocolate croissant because I fucking love croissants. Love. Them. Anyway, the food took a little while to come out but I comforted my hunger with some kir royales. The food came out and the eggs Benedict were good, nothing that blew me away but it is such a standard brunch meal that I wasn’t expecting them to reinvent the wheel. It was good enough to hit the spot and it came with a side salad to balance out the sauce heaviness. The croissant was FIRE! Straight out of the oven, chocolate melting all over my fingers and flaky to the touch. HEAVEN in my hands. I also ordered a waffle to share and it was delicious. The service was top notch from our main waitress to assisting staff. There are two tv screens at the bar and they were kind enough to put on the Dolphins game for us(and you KNOW I was not the one to ask for that shit because American football is just that, shit. #commercials). They were very accommodating and even allowed us to shift our chairs so that we could face the screen(which is why I’m facing the phone to write this Unilocal review haha). I’m assuming there’s no wait to be seated given how new it is but I’m sure once people take a chance on BA this place will pack up and be busy. They also have happy hour mon-fri 4 – 8 pm so I’ll definitely have to check it out. Cheers, Brasserie Azur. One last thing, they’ve got a great rotation of music playing. Queen, Culture Club, The Gypsy Kings, Michael Jackson, etc. boom! «I know you’ll miss me, I know you’ll miss me, I know you’ll miss me BLINDDDDDD.»

I met a friend for a midweek girls night at Brasserie. We both admitted we were twinkle-eyed and floating on a cloud upon walking in since this spot ooooozes with romance. As the night progressed and the lights began to dim under the canopy of roses and all the european waiters, i thought… wow! am I in a movie set? Nope… it was just Brasserie Azur– We were told happy hour specials were till 8PM which is a nice change from other ones in the area that close-out the specials early so we took advantage and ordered several. In addition, menu had a varied selection of items– seafood bar, sandwiches, charcuterie, pizzettas, pasta and even rotisserie. Plenty to satisfy all requests since there were also vegan/vegetarian options. I went with the pizzetta. It’s a little oily– but nothing a little pat-down can’t fix. I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was stellar and the experience in general felt special. Looking forward to returning soon to Midtown’s latest swag… this little chic French-Med inspired restaurant.

Midtown is full of choices to take your date for a decent meal, and French cuisine seems to be popular in this area(Bistro Cassis recently opened up as well). Located next to Sugarcane this place offers a grand ambiance to wow any date you might bring. From beginning to end the service was spot-on, friendly and attentive. A quick glance at the cocktail menu we were intrigued, but it’s Friday night the weather was decent for a Friday night in October so a nice bottle of Chianti Classico Reserve 2010 did just fine. We read all the rave regarding the truffle Pizza(pizzeta) for appetizer, so why not — and add slices of prosciutto just to make it delish — boy did it deliver! Truffle oil is very flavorful but these chefs knew to add just the right amount to make the slice melt in your mouth. The portion was small, great for the course for two in preparation for our main course. Ah, yes — the main course. Grilled Lamb Chops for me — three great pieces cooked medium/medium rare with a very tasty marinade that came off the knife like butter. The Mrs. had the Bouillabaisse, probably the best meal she’s had all year. A large bowl with Florida White Fish laid in a soup/sauce surrounded by mussels, shrimp, calamari and all the seafood you can dream off. Grab some of the garlic croutons(bread) and dip in the sauce. WOW, this dish was simply delicious. Dessert? Duh! Can’t go to a French restaurant and not try a pastry! Paris-Brest was the choice and there is no adjective worthy of describing. Soft, light pastry with cream, powdered sugar, hazelnut praline, presentation off the charts. I really like this place and just found out the GM is a cousin of a friend of mine from highschool(this is what social media does when you post good food!). Do you really have to ask? Duh — of course I’ll be back!
