Better Days has always been in my radar since they opened, but I never had the chance to head out there until last night. Getting out of work at 12am after a long shift persuaded me to go somewhere to lounge and have a couple drinks. Better Days was the perfect spot for this. Outside they have a nice set up with tables and chairs. Right before walking in I stared and laughed at the tipsy group of people playing with those HUGE bricks for Jenga on one of those tables. Inside is a very nice pool table, booths, chairs, a TV in the corner with chairs around it, and a nice clean bar. The bartender, Eddie, was fantastic. He asked the right questions to formulate the perfect drink to my liking. Same with my girl. Second round I asked him to adjust a few things which he was happy to do and the drink was again 100% on point. The free popcorn was delicious. They put some pretty good seasoning on it. They keep the bar very clean as well. The napkins I would use to clean my hands after eating popcorn would quickly disappear which tripped me out cause I never saw a worker grab them and clean the area lol. Music was good. Not too loud inside even with it being moderately full. Thanks Better Days for the great time. I’ll be back soon.

The space was small and the vibe was strange: drink prices were reasonable but we left after an hour to go to blackbird: it’s okay I guess for a date night, not for a fun up beat outing.

The first time i came here had an amazing time they had Coming to America and Ghost and awesome music playing. It was so much fun that i came back for my birthday. in which they had Kill Bill playing.. which is highly violent and has rapist themes in the movie. I asked the bar tender to please switch the movie and his response was«is it offensive?». I said yes and he said«then turn the other way…» he also mentioned something about this being a venue but that wasn’t clear. Really his attitude was not necessary a simple ill see if i can but cant make any promises would have been cool…

Better Days is my go to spot in Brickell! It’s a great place to start, and a great place to end! They have a few cocktails on the menu, but the bartender can make you anything! Their prices aren’t the cheapest, but hey, it’s Brickell! They have complimentary popcorn, and let me tell you, once you start, you can’t stop! It has some kind of vibe that’s hard to explain. Almost like Radio Bar, kind of hipster-ish with an old fashioned feeling, lots of character, it’s a cool spot. Not to mention, they have both indoor and outdoor Jenga, seating both indoor and outdoor, a pool table, and a DJ’s booth. Better Day’s is kind of hidden in Brickell, which is nice, it doesn’t bring in the rif raf. Honestly, only tell your best friends about this place, looking forward to going this weekend :)

My favorite bar in Brickell. Great prices and drinks are strong. Very laid back atmosphere with couches and a pool table.

What a cooool bar! Looks more like a Wynwood bar than a Brickell bar and that’s what I love about it. I also love a bar that serves free popcorn! The vibe at Better Days is laid back but still keeps the classy-ness that comes to mind when you think Brickell bar, it’s just not as uptight as most of the bars in the area. It offers a good amount of seating from bar stools to actual booths, it’s great. For the folks that love a good dive bar, the pool table adds a nice touch. The drinks on the menu are a bit too sweet for my taste but you can order anything that’s not on the menu. After hearing all of my friends talk about it, I’m glad I got to try this place out. I’ll be back soon!

Great prices! Cool movies. Free popcorn. What the hell is not to love? Not for a Trulucks crowd — but Brickell didn’t need another«$ 10 happy hour drink price» type of place anyways.

I love Better Days! It’s a go-to place for everyone from office for happy hour on a weekday. It has a kind of dive-y /Wynwood /hipster feel, which I absolutely love — super refreshing compared to so many of the stiff bars in the area. Most recently I went with coworkers for someone’s birthday. I got there at about 7 pm, and the place was a little over half full — not that it’s saying much, it’s a small establishment. The bartender found me instantly and I ordered their house pale ale(not my favorite, but they were out of the hefeweizen). The bartenders were great! We all had our own tabs open but between the two of them they remembered our names and were overall really attentive. Super nice people, very laid back. As long as you’re prepared to go elsewhere for food, Better Days will be there to make your day better :)

On a Thursday night I trecked here from Social on a quest to try something new. And what I found left me in good wits. What started as a pop-up bar, Better Days is small and quaint. It’s perfect for a relaxing night when you just want to sit, talk and drink a good drink. The vibe here is hipster with funky Weezer playing along in the background. It’s nothing overwhelming, crowded or loud; just perfect. There’s a pool table and popcorn. One of the head bartenders, Stew, is really great making drinks AND he’s good to talk with! Always a plus. Onto the drinks… I Tried a Brojito, and one of the specials from their board, I think it was a cucumber something… They have four brews on tap, they rotate and most happened to be from MIA Brewing. Yes, I found that they were a little on the pricey side, but it’s all similar to what you’d find in Brickell. The cocktails were interesting, I’d go back for their happy hour. My experience here couldn’t have been better. Chill vibes.

Meh. after reading review after review, bookmarking, and even venturing out of my neighborhood specifically to come, I wanted to really really like Better Days. Maybe I set my expectations too high. The concept I like. Super laid back hidden bar with tons of character. Vintage thrift finds serve as furniture, even a night stand just like one my grandpa had. literally, it was kinda special when I spotted it. We went knowing that they didn’t serve a full menu but were perfectly fine and looking forward to hotdogs and popcorn. unfortunately they weren’t serving this particular Friday evening. When we left to have dinner elsewhere there were a handful of patrons, the lingering happy hour crowd, and when we came back the place was packed! Great music, any time there’s a mix of old school hip-hop I can shake my booty to. I shake my booty! Reminded me of Blackbird in that sense. Our drinks were okay. There’s several places in the area where mixology is a craft and I was thinking that is what this would be. not so much. I can’t remember the name of my drink but it wound up being similar to a Margarita. Meh. Parking was a bit of a pain, we found the street a few blocks away were they Brickell City Center is going up and there is some street parking there. for now. Neat to check out, wish I loved it, if I lived in the neighborhood I’d give it another try hopefully on one of their better day **plays punchline sound on drums**

I like the vibe of this place. With games and a pool table to keep the crowd from just drinking to oblivion. I appreciate the free popcorn. The service was good and the cocktails I guess for the most part are decently priced but when you have to pay $ 12 valet parking because there’s really no other option around these parts, it makes any future patronage contingent on finding free or cheaper parking. It’d also be nice if the prices for the cocktails were a bit more legible. I’m sure everyone sees the just fine but after my friend bitched about my drink being the most expensive one, I realized how the cocktails were not all the same price and how the prices were written in tiny font below. I don’t know. I’m just a fan of transparency. All in all a cool place with hipster vibe of you happen to live in the area and not pay for parking.

I always have the best time at this hidden gem in Miami. My favorite bartender Stuart makes the best Old Fashioned — delicious. He always makes us feel at home in a crowded city. Oh, and he can dance. Bottom line– hipster, fun, good drinks.

More like bad days!!! The bartender yelled at some guy in front of everyone for asking for a new drink bc he didn’t like the one he got… He though it was too strong. The bartender bitched him and repeatedly yelled«this isn’t Kmart or tgif Friday’s who the fuck do you think you are get out.» It was horrifying and embarrassing to be in the presence of someone that ignorant. Also, I love Kmart!

Came by recently after a Unilocal event. Walked in head high, happy to finally check this place out. And then the heat punched me right in the chin. Yes, the AC was broken, and as I understand it, this isn’t the first time. Now, it’s bad enough that the AC was broken, and truly, I wouldn’t write this review and give this place two stars based on something that, for lack of a better phrase, is an Act of God. Really, I would’ve let this place sit under, «Your Next Review Awaits» on Unilocal indefinitely until some future patronage. BUT. This one guy… Look, I understand. It must suck to work in those conditions. In that space. No ventilation. Heat. All this cold beer that you can’t drink because you’re on the clock. But to react to a customer asking about the AC with(I’m paraphrasing), «If someone else asks me about the AC, I SWEARTOGOD…» Bro, I’m trying to give you money. There’s no need for that. Answer the question, and if it’s annoying, then put up a sign outside so that drunken wayfarers are warned before stumbling in. And if this is a constant occurrence, then… fans? Maybe? No? OK. Then stew. I swear, my luck lately has been tantamount to walking into that bar in «Desperado» with the sign above the door that read, «THECLIENTISALWAYSWRONG.»

Complimentary Popcorn, ya’ll! Do it. When Cassie G. told me about a pop up bar in Miami, I immediately jumped to a swanky, very trendy picture in my head, but this place is the completely opposite: relaxing and lounge-y yes, but in more of an 80’s grandma’s basement, retro type in a kick up your legs and play some board games kind of way. So unassuming from outside. It’s located at the bottom of some condos and once you walk inside, you forget you are in the middle of Brickell. Low lighting, eclectic, gorgeous furniture that reminds me of an upscale antique store, all set in a U shape hugging the walls and in the center, a wrap around bar. This spot exudes a «regulars» kind of setting, yet as a noob walking in, I was not intimidated. They have a goal of «back to basics» for drinks so a great variety of beers on tap and in cans plus signature cocktails and all reasonably priced. I had a chance to enjoy two of their cocktails: Fizz Shizz and Chico De Bandito and don’t ask me to choose between the two, loved them both. I could easily spend hours here getting my relax on and enjoying friend time while I throw pop corn in my mouth and these delicious cocktails down my hatch. I can’t wait to go back and urge anyone who is either visiting Miami and not wanting the«cliché» that is MIA nightlife or are a local and want a break from the norm there, go here!

Awesome new bar in Brickell that makes you feel like you’re in Wynwood without having to drive to Wynwood and deal with parking. It’s a «pop-up» bar which means it is only here for a limited amount of time and then it will move to a new location with possibly a different concept. Definitely check out while it is still here if you live in Brickell and are tired of all the loud bars! The décor is fantastic. The theme is old school Miami and especially for a temporary venue, they do a great job. The music is more laid back than a Brickell bar and it isn’t too loud! You can actually hear someone talking right next to you without screaming! You have to go here to believe it. Plenty of seating and some fun bar games. Great place to meet up with a small group of friends or just meet a friend for a drink. Free popcorn!!! My only complaint about this place is that their cocktail list could be better. There’s only 4 cocktails on there, though they have a full bar and you could ask for something else. The cocktails range $ 8 – 10. I ordered the one with clamato juice and it was really bad. I actually couldn’t even drink half of it. Some people like it though so just only order it if you’ve had drinks like that before and know you’d like it. I’d wish they had a few more cocktails on the menu, perhaps with whiskey or gin? That’s really my only complaint but otherwise this place is great!

Brickell’s first pop-up bar! Yet, you don’t feel like you’re in Miami at all. I don’t know what took me so long to check this place out. Thankfully, what started as a 90-day pop-up has stuck around and hopefully will be permanent soon. If you’re a fan of places like Blackbird and Radio, this place is for you. I checked it out early on a Tuesday so there was zero crowd, making it ripe for just lounging and taking in the atmosphere. It’s pretty retro, with antique furniture and bobbles scattered throughout. They have a menu with four select cocktails. I started with Dat Fizz Shizz, made of vodka, simple syrup, lemon juice and candied fruit soda. After that, I tried a spicy michelada which wasn’t on the menu, so make sure to ask if there is something specific you know you might like. The cocktails are great, but there are also plenty of craft, domestic and import beers in both cans and on draft to try! For eats, you get complimentary popcorn and they also have hotdogs and potato chips for sale. It’s all no frills and it works. The plus side of coming when it’s dead? You can enjoy the games like Jenga and pool! I can only imagine this place filling to the brim on the weekends(and later in the night with industry folks). I’ll definitely be back soon to see.

I just had my going away party here this past Saturday and it was awesome. They took extra care of us and everyone had a good time. We had reserved two booths(the corner and the one next to it) for the party of 15ppl. We weren’t required to purchase bottles or anything because that’s how chill this bar is. Kristen our server was amazing and attentive. Everyone had their own tab and she managed to cater to everyone and handled each tab with no problem. I swear we were like how did she do it. The whole party was everywhere and she still knew who ordered what and when and how on who’s tab. LOL best server I ever had to work with. She was very organized and handled herself well since the place was packed and everyone was everywhere Sissi also helped out Kristen and I totally adore her. She sweet, attentive, and fun to talk to. How her abd Kristen handles the whole bar on their own amazes me. =) All in all a good time. Javi and the gang are awesome people and the Better Days is not your average pretentious Brickell lounge. You can come to drink, hang with friends, listen to good music, and play some pool. I am going to miss this bar. I hope they don’t change.
